Chapter 24: Double-crossing, let fists do the talking.

"If you don't know the rules, I can teach you!" Qin Yu lifted Qinglong into the air. Qinglong struggled helplessly, but couldn't break free from Qin Yu's grasp.

"Let me go, and I'll give you anything! I have money, I have lots of money, I'll give you everything..." Qinglong said through gritted teeth. Seeing the coldness in Qin Yu's eyes, he wanted to beg for help, but his underlings all shrank to the side, pretending not to see.

"You want to cripple my arm, huh?" Qin Yu looked at Qinglong and smirked.

"No..." Qinglong's expression changed drastically when he saw Qin Yu's outstretched hand.

The next second...

"Click".

Qinglong's face contorted in pain, gritting his teeth to endure the excruciating agony, only to see Qin Yu reach for his other hand. "Master Qin, please, please spare my life, I beg you..."

Qin Yu glanced at him indifferently. "Have you ever killed anyone?"

Qinglong's face stiffened. "I...how could I kill someone! I didn't..."

"Click".

Before he could finish speaking, Qin Yu had already dislocated his other arm.

"I don't believe it," Qin Yu sneered.

The way Xiao Liu acted in his madness clearly showed that he had seen blood.

"I can spare your life, but from today onward, I don't want to see you again." Qin Yu glanced at Qinglong.

"I'll do anything you ask, as long as you don't kill me. I'll leave right now, immediately, and leave the county town!" Qinglong had thought Qin Yu was going to kill him, but he didn't expect him to let him go, so he immediately nodded.

A flash of murderous intent crossed his eyes as he lowered his head. Wait until he's healed…

"Get lost!" Qin Yu sneered.

Qinglong scrambled to his feet and ran toward the door, but having lost both hands, he couldn't open it.

"Get over here and open the door for me!" Qinglong gritted his teeth at his former underling.

The underling glanced at Qin Yu, then stepped forward to open the door for Qinglong.

Qinglong ran away immediately, without even glancing at Xiao Liu on the ground.

Xiao Liu seemed to know he had been abandoned, and stared helplessly at Qinglong's retreating figure with his mouth agape.

"Can you talk? Can you understand?" Qin Yu looked at Xiao Liu with a cold gaze.

“Master Qin, his tongue was cut out when he was a child, so he can’t speak,” one of the underlings mustered up his courage to explain to Qin Yu.

"Go find your master!" Qin Yu had no interest in keeping such a harmful thing around.

Xiao Liu understood Qin Yu's words, got up from the ground, and chased after Qinglong.

"Master Qin." The man got up from the ground and walked up to Qin Yu with his face swollen like a pig's head.

"Can I ship my goods back now?" Qin Yu didn't care about the man; he only wanted his goods.

"Sure, sure," the man quickly replied.

“Master Qin, we want to follow you.” Several of Qinglong’s underlings glanced at Qin Yu and knelt down in front of him.

"Why?" Qin Yu glanced at them indifferently.

He had no intention of taking on these underlings; their boss was being beaten, and they were just standing by and watching the show.

"Please take us in. We'll do anything you ask," the henchmen said earnestly.

"What did Qinglong make you do?" Qin Yu asked with a sneer.

"..." The underlings suddenly couldn't say anything. They had done a lot of things with Qinglong, and they used to laugh and brag to others about how powerful they were.

He was speechless for a moment when faced with Qin Yu.

"If I were the one who just got beaten up, would you all just stand by and watch the show like this?" Qin Yu asked with a smile, but there was no hint of a smile in his eyes.

"You're so strong..." The underlings were stunned for a moment, and were about to say that Qin Yu was different, that he was so strong.

"Before me, Xiao Liu was also very strong to you," Qin Yu glanced at them and reminded them.

"roll."

The henchmen froze, and half of them ran away instantly.

“I’m willing to follow you.” A man pushed aside his other underlings, stepped forward, and knelt before Qin Yu.

"Why?" Qin Yu asked with a sneer.

“I’m short of money, and you’re short of people,” the man said earnestly, looking up at Qin Yu.

"Oh?" Qin Yu looked at the man in front of him who dared to meet his gaze and a smirk appeared on his lips.

“My wife is sick, I need money!” the man replied. “I’ve been handling all of Qinglong’s affairs, including who he sells his goods to! I can help you with that too! I just want money.”

"Alright, I'll give you a chance. You're in charge of this." Seeing that everyone was looking at the man, Qin Yu decided to give him a chance.

"What's your name?" Qin Yu asked the man.

"Xu Li." Xu Li looked at Qin Yu and revealed her real name.

Qin Yu could clearly tell that this was the man's real name, not a pseudonym he used when traveling.

"Compile a list of Qinglong's materials for me. I'll come over in a couple of days to take a look," Qin Yu said calmly. Xu Li nodded. "Can I keep them here to help me?"

"Whatever you want," Qin Yu said indifferently.

Xu Li breathed a sigh of relief when Qin Yu agreed.

Qin Yu glanced at the man whose face had been swollen like a pig's head. "My goods must be delivered tonight."

"Yes, yes, yes." The man nodded vigorously. "I definitely won't delay you."

Qin Yu glanced at them, then turned and walked out of Qinglong's courtyard.

The man caught up with Qin Yu and said, "Master Qin, I...I...my name is..."

“I know him, Wang Jianguo,” Qin Yu said calmly. He had investigated him long ago, otherwise he wouldn’t have chosen to cooperate with him in the first place.

Wang Jianguo obediently shut his mouth, and Qin Yu left him behind and continued walking out.

"Brother Xu, are we really going to follow this Master Qin?" The underlings looked at Xu Li. In their hearts, they had always worked for Xu Li, not Qinglong.

"He drove away Qinglong and took over his territory. We're just a different person now; it makes no difference to us," Xu Li said calmly.

"Follow Qinglong the same way you used to?" one person asked.

Xu Li did not answer the question. He felt that Qin Yu and Qinglong were not the same kind of people, and he did not want to conflate the two.

Qin Yu's strength is undeniable; with skills like that, if one could follow him...

"Master Qin!" Xu Li suddenly ran out, and his underlings exchanged glances before following him.

A hint of impatience flashed in Qin Yu's eyes. He had already been delayed for too long, and his wife must be getting anxious.

These people just won't stop.

"What is it?" Qin Yu asked impatiently.

"Qinglong, he also..." Xu Li was about to present Qin Yu with a pledge of loyalty and tell him about Qinglong when a voice suddenly rang out.

"Let him go! Or I'll scream for help!"

Upon hearing the voice, Qin Yu looked up abruptly and saw Xia Lan pointing angrily at Xu Li and the others surrounding him.

"Pretend you don't know me," Qin Yu said softly, using a voice only Xu Li and the others could hear.

Xu Li and the others were taken aback and exchanged glances.

"Tsk, kid, you're lucky. Someone saved you. I'll let you go this time. But if you dare to come to the black market again, you'd better pay your respects, or you'll regret it!" Xu Li's face instantly turned fierce, and he jabbed Qin Yu's chest hard with one hand.

After saying that, he turned and left with his men.
