Jiangcheng, Midnight Bar
The bar officially opened today, and quite a few people came.
Many of the people present today belong to the same circle, and most of them are from wealthy families, because the bar owner's surname is Fang.
The Fang family holds a very important position in Jiangcheng. Many people come here because of their reputation, either hoping to establish a connection with the Fang family or simply to show their support.
A man sat on a sofa in the corner of the bar's first floor, lounging lazily. The dim light flickered across his face, casting a shadow on his high, straight nose. His smooth jawline appeared and disappeared with the flickering light, and the gold-rimmed glasses on his nose reflected iridescent colors.
He was dressed in a well-fitting suit, his hair was neatly combed, and he was followed by two well-dressed bodyguards.
The man sat there out of place in the frenzied atmosphere, attracting attention even while sitting in a corner.
From the second floor of the bar, you can see the crowd dancing wildly below, all indulging in this den of iniquity.
"Your brother is really interesting!" A woman in a sexy halter dress suddenly approached Chen Xueping and winked.
Chen Xueping turned around and saw Lin Wanxing sitting foolishly at the corner of the stairs on the second floor.
“That idiot isn’t my brother. What’s my surname? What’s his surname? He’s just an idiot. I’m only bringing him out to see the world because I’m kind-hearted. If Fang Ze hadn’t insisted that I take him, he would never have been to a place like this in his entire life.”
Chen Xueping's red lips curled up, and a cold glint flashed in her beautiful eyes.
"That idiot is just like his mother, a complete moron."
"Stupid without realizing it."
Lin Wanxing sat obediently in the corner on the second floor, his eyes looking into the distance, looking dazed and silly. Anyone could tell at a glance that there was something wrong with him.
Jin Nana nudged Chen Xueping with her elbow. "That idiot may be stupid, but he's actually quite handsome. No wonder Fang Ze is interested in him."
Upon hearing Jin Nana's teasing, Chen Xueping's expression instantly changed, revealing an undisguised ferocity in her eyes.
Kim Nana was so frightened by her terrifying and eerie eyes that she took a step back and immediately realized that she had said the wrong thing.
"Just kidding, I was just saying it offhand." Jin Nana laughed awkwardly, trying to cover for herself, "Fang Ze, I just think he's silly, I was just teasing him."
"Nana, look over there?" Chen Xueping leaned against the second-floor railing and gestured for Jin Nana to look over.
The man in the corner had a striking profile; he lowered his eyes and held a wine glass in his hand.
Jin Nana recognized the man at a glance, and asked incredulously, "Is that the one from the Shen family?"
He was once a legend in Jiangcheng's commerce, an absolutely godlike figure.
Unfortunately, the god has fallen from grace and is now in such a sorry state, with no one by his side, sitting alone in a corner drinking.
Chen Xueping felt uncomfortable seeing Shen Er and said rudely, "Shen Er is quite respectful to the Fang family. He's a disabled person, yet he still comes all the way here to watch people dance. He's just asking for trouble."
"Xueping, isn't he your fiancé?" Jin Nana asked, puzzled.
"What fiancé? A piece of trash doesn't even deserve him!" Chen Xueping sneered. "That engagement wasn't even mine to begin with, but rather..."
As she spoke, Chen Xueping's gaze returned to the fool.
A fool paired with a good-for-nothing, it's quite amusing to think about. Chen Xueping suddenly smiled and whispered a few words in Jin Nana's ear.
This immediately drew Jin Nana's silvery laughter. Jin Nana clapped her hands with laughter, never expecting that Chen Xueping would come up with such a wicked trick.
Jin Nana laughed until tears almost came out. "If that idiot dares to ask such a question in front of Shen Er, I guarantee he won't be able to leave here today."
Lin Wanxing knew nothing about this. He was brought out here for the first time today. He didn't like it here because it was all dark, and he didn't like the color black.
His mind went blank as he looked at the flashing lights in the distance, when suddenly someone called his name.
"Lin Wanxing, get over here!" Jin Nana stomped over in her high heels and shouted at Lin Wanxing.
Lin Wanxing sat there with his back to her, not moving an inch, as if he hadn't heard her.
"Lin Wanxing, I called you, didn't you hear me?" Jin Nana was furious that the idiot didn't respond and was about to lift his leg to lift him up by the back.
Suddenly, Lin Wanxing, who was sitting there, stood up. Jin Nana had already raised her leg and was about to kick him with all her might when this idiot suddenly stood up.
She lost her balance and fell forward, but luckily a passing waiter caught her, otherwise Jin Nana would have rolled down the corner from the second floor.
"Are you alright?" Lin Wanxing heard the commotion behind him and looked at Jin Nana somewhat slowly. He looked at Jin Nana's angry face and asked, puzzled.
Jin Nana shoved the waiter aside and went up to slap that delicate face.
"Nana, what are you doing? You're so slow." Chen Xueping's impatient voice came from beside her, and she decisively put her hand down.
She led Lin Wanxing to Chen Xueping, and Lin Wanxing obediently followed behind Jin Nana, walking over step by step.
Chen Xueping glanced at Lin Wanxing with utter disdain.
Her eyes remained fixed on the man in the corner downstairs, then she asked him without blinking:
"Lin Wanxing, do you want some cake?"
Lin Wanxing loves eating small cakes or other sweets, and he nodded without hesitation, "I want to eat some."
Jin Nana stood to the side with her arms folded in front of her chest, and couldn't help but laugh out loud, "Want to eat? Sure."
