Lin Wanxing was a little confused by his question. He thought about it seriously for a moment and then said, "Yes, I ate."
Xiao Li gave him a bright smile, and he continued to glance at his phone casually.
The message on his phone directed him: "Go ask him where he stayed yesterday, whether his place was close to the dessert shop, and whether he was used to eating and staying out."

How could he possibly ask such a strange question? He might be misunderstood. This question is too personal; if he asked it, it would probably scare people away.
He really couldn't bring himself to ask that question. After thinking for a moment, Xiao Li asked, "Is your home far from here? Is it inconvenient for you to commute to and from get off work? We sometimes have to work overtime, and I'm worried that it might be inconvenient for you to commute back and forth."
"I haven't found a place to live yet, and I'm staying in a hotel right now, but I'll find a suitable place as soon as possible, and I promise it won't affect my work," Lin Wanxing said earnestly.
The important information Xiao Li heard was that he couldn't find a suitable place to stay, even though he was staying in a hotel.
"It's okay, I was just worried it might be inconvenient for you to take the job. Don't worry about it." Xiao Li thought for a moment and then said, "Why don't you try working here now? It's not tiring at all!"
Lin Wanxing nodded happily, "Sure!"
He didn't expect it to go so smoothly, and the shop owner didn't ask any work-related questions.
What's going on here? Maybe he trusts himself a lot.
Lin Wanxing went to change into the store's work uniform and apron. Looking at his uniform, he suddenly felt a strange sense of pride.
This was his first time looking for a job, and he immediately found one that suited his taste. Moreover, his colleagues and boss were all very easy to get along with, and everyone was so kind.
He was really lucky.

Lin Wanxing glanced at the rental information on her phone; the houses in this area were very cheap.
Many apartments are listed as "urgently available for rent," which makes the prices particularly cheap, and they are all quite nice apartments.
"Have some milk tea!" A colleague brought Lin Wanxing a cup of hot milk tea.
Lin Wanxing was immediately flattered and said, "Thank you!"
This milk tea had no toppings added. Lin Wanxing glanced at it, then at her colleague Xiao Zhou.
Seeing his strange expression, Xiao Zhou asked, "What's wrong? Don't you like milk tea?"
Lin Wanxing shook her head. "No, I really like it. I just don't like milk tea with all sorts of toppings."
He doesn't like adding toppings to his milk tea, and he always leaves the tapioca pearls at the bottom of his bubble tea before drinking it.
The same goes for any side dish, but this time the milk tea that my colleague gave me suited my taste perfectly.
"How did you end up working here?"
Xiao Zhou chatted casually with Lin Wanxing while he stood in the glass cabinet, carefully wiping it.
Lin Wanxing thought for a moment, "It's a necessity for daily life!"
“But you don’t look like someone who’s struggling to make a living at all,” Xiao Zhou said with a smile as she bent down to carefully wipe the cabinet.
"Why do you say that?" Lin Wanxing asked, tilting his head as he sipped his milk tea, puzzled.
"You look like a young master, not an ordinary person at all. You wouldn't have left home because you had a fight with your family, would you?"
Lin Wanxing was stunned. He stared wide-eyed, somewhat amazed by Xiao Zhou's sharp eyes. Lin Wanxing didn't know how he could see it so clearly at a glance.
"How do you know everything? You even know about the conflict I had with my family."
Lin Wanxing was both shocked and amazed by Xiao Zhou's extraordinary personality.
"I was just guessing, and that's how it's usually portrayed in TV dramas. It's always like this: a rich young master has a falling out with his family, like you."
Lin Wanxing nodded blankly, "I did have a fight with my family. You guessed it so accurately."
Xiao Zhou took a deep breath and said to Lin Wanxing, "The houses around here are very cheap. You should hurry up and rent a place, otherwise it will be too hard for you to commute to get off work every day." Xiao Zhou seemed to be chatting casually, but every word he said was actually a reminder to Lin Wanxing.
"I've been looking at rental listings, I've looked at so many, and I have to say the apartments around here are incredibly cheap."
Lin Wanxing was overwhelmed by the various information, as the houses were surprisingly good value for money.
He had never encountered anything so good before, and he even suspected that there might be a trap.
"Why are those houses being rented out at such low prices? They're clearly excellent properties. The interior decoration and the neighborhood environment don't match the rent. Do you think they might be scammers?"
"You're overthinking it. Rent around here has always been very cheap."
Lin Wanxing didn't know much about these things either. He had never rented a house before, but based on his intuition, those houses were indeed incredibly cheap.
Lin Wanxing stood at the front desk diligently, taking orders from customers.
He glanced at the clock on the wall; it was already past three in the afternoon.
"Wanxing, you can go home now." The boss was carrying a lot of small cakes, all of which were new products from the shop, and the packaging boxes were all very exquisite.
