Chapter 208 A Tale of Two Cities

"I ate, and I'm very full."

The butler chuckled, "I just saw Third Master rushing upstairs. He works all day long and never seems to get a break."

The housekeeper felt sorry for He Yaonian.

"Although the young masters and ladies of the family have tried their best to help Third Master, the biggest burden is still borne by Third Master."

Mingdai didn't know what to say, so she could only nod in agreement.

He Yaonian's ability to shoulder the burden of the He family is nothing special. He also enjoys his work and is willing to dedicate everything to the He family.

"Miss Ming, would you like some tea? Third Master just asked me to bring him a pot of tea."

The butler's words had a hidden meaning.

Mingdai would usually suggest that she serve tea.

The butler paused for a moment, then nodded, "Alright."

Mingdai went upstairs.

The sound of her opening the door alerted the three of them, and they all turned to look.

Mingdai was completely baffled.

Their gazes fell on He Yaonian.

He Yaonian was wearing pajamas, and his usually meticulously styled hair was unusually disheveled, probably because he had been woken up from his sleep.

Mingdai was also unaware of what had happened, and wondered if she had disturbed the three of them.

She gave an awkward laugh. "I heard someone talking, so I came out to see what was going on."

He Xingjian and He Xingqiong exchanged a glance, but neither of them spoke.

He Yaonian glanced at Mingdai, "It's nothing, you can go back to sleep."

Mingdai was a little disappointed, but she nodded obediently, "Okay."
