Mingdai thought about it gratefully for a moment, then silently took another sip of milk tea.
He Yaonian glanced at her.
"Don't drink it, it's cold."
He said, "I'll buy it tomorrow if I like; I can't drink it tonight."
With a mouthful of milk tea in her throat, Mingdai met He Yaonian's straightforward gaze and swallowed the milk tea.
"Third Uncle, thank you so much for tonight."
I cried so embarrassingly in the hospital. I don't know why I cried so bitterly in front of He Yaonian, as if I had suffered a great injustice.
But He Yaonian's appearance undoubtedly soothed her collapse and helplessness. With him by her side, she no longer felt that she was so pitiful or pathetic.
"Don't change the subject."
He Yaonian did not need Ming Dai to thank him.
What he wanted was Mingdai's trust and her letting her guard down.
"I didn't."
Mingdai shook her head innocently, her round almond-shaped eyes sparkling, "It's just to express my gratitude."
She immediately bit her lip after she finished speaking.
The way she's talking sounds like she's being coquettish.
But she really didn't!
She covered her forehead with her hand in embarrassment and annoyance.
She guessed that she had become a little more familiar with He Yaonian recently, and that she had lost control of her emotions in front of him tonight. For a moment, the instinctive sense of dependence in human nature took over her mind.
However, this is only temporary.
She was well aware of He Yaonian's identity and had never forgotten who she was.
He Yaonian noticed the suspicious red spot on the tip of Mingdai's ear. He quickly realized something and silently curled the corner of his lips.
She unconsciously started biting the straw again.
Knowing that she wasn't feeling well and couldn't drink too much of this, I reached out and took the milk tea from her.
The cup felt lighter; after shaking it, there wasn't much left.
If you really want to drink it, ask the housekeeper to find a healthier formula.
"You really don't plan to talk about what happened tonight?"
"I happen to have some time, maybe I can help you solve your problem."
