Mingdai stopped drinking water.
"He deserves it all."
Sister Le glanced at Mingdai and said, "You need to be careful."
Mingdai didn't speak.
Sister Le added, "Your kind mother-in-law has been searching everywhere for talented young men for Mo Qingying, but Mo Qingying doesn't seem to be interested in any of them."
Mingdai snorted coldly.
"They're about to join the ranks of the truly wealthy; they really look down on our circle."
Sister Le became interested.
"Oh? How do I get in?"
Mingdai smiled but didn't say anything.
I played with Sister Le until noon, and we agreed to have lunch together.
He Xingqiong called.
"Mingdai, are you busy today?"
Mingdai looked at the azure sky. "What's wrong?"
“At noon, we went to the hospital to see my third uncle. He had a high fever in the middle of last night and it didn’t come down until this morning. Mingdai frowned. "Who was with you last night?"

"Well, let's go together later if you have time. Uncle San has been quite polite to you overall."
Mingdai didn't really sense whether it was polite or not.
Anyway, I felt that He Yaonian was aloof and unapproachable, sometimes very down-to-earth, and sometimes condescending.

After saying goodbye to Sister Le, I went to see He Xingqiong first.
He Xingqiong looked dashing and beautiful in her formal attire.
"I just called my third uncle to ask him what he wanted to eat, but he didn't even answer my call."
Mingdai pondered, "The housekeeper should have made arrangements."
