Chapter 80 The Heart Sees Everything as Dirty

He Yaonian had already entered through the main gate. When Mingdai looked up, she could only see a corner of his clothes.

"Third Uncle."

Just as she was about to take a step to chase after him, someone suddenly ran past and hugged Mingdai tightly.

Mingdai was so startled that she immediately pushed him away.

"It's me."

Mo Tingchuan tightened his grip, refusing to let go no matter how hard Ming Dai tried.

Mingdai, realizing what had happened, was furious.

"This is right at the main gate, have you no shame?"

Mo Tingchuan chuckled self-deprecatingly, "You're about to leave with someone else, what use is my pride?"

Mingdai's face immediately darkened.

Struggling to break free from Mo Tingchuan's grasp.

"When did I ever leave with someone else? You have such a dirty mind."

Mo Tingchuan was incredibly strong, and his embrace caused Mingdai unbearable pain all over her body.

On a sudden impulse, Mingdai raised her foot and stomped hard on Mo Tingchuan's foot.

"Aww!"

Mo Tingchuan cried out in pain and instinctively let go.

As soon as Mingdai was released, she immediately hid to the side.

Mo Tingchuan looked so much pained that he wanted to hug his foot and blow on it.

Mingdai sneered, "Serves you right."

Mingdai wanted to go back to her room.

Mo Tingchuan persisted and wouldn't let go.

She strode in, and he limped quickly behind her.

"What exactly is going on between you and Third Uncle? Mingdai, don't forget, you are still my wife, Mo Tingchuan's wife!"

Mingdai really didn't want to be bothered by such a vicious dog.

“I’ve already told you it’s your heart. My third uncle and I are upright and honest. It’s you who are like a rat in the gutter, always using the most disgusting thoughts to speculate about others.”

Mingdai turned her head and glared at Mo Tingchuan with disdain.

"I am not you, and I could never betray my marriage."

Mo Tingchuan was furious when Ming Dai used such vile terms as "a rat in a sewer" to describe him. The gentle and kind Ming Dai of the past had truly vanished completely.

Mo Tingchuan called out to Mingdai.

"How could you not have betrayed your marriage? Have you forgotten about the video?"

The two had already arrived at the villa's living room.

Mo Tingchuan's voice was loud, and the living room was spacious, so the echoes lingered when no one was around.

Mingdai turned her head in disbelief.

"You still have the nerve to bring up the video, Mo Tingchuan? Do you want me to repeat to you again and again how despicable and shameless you were to send your wife to another man's bed?!"

If possible, Mingdai never wants to bring this up again.

She could truly accept Mo Tingchuan's change of heart, and accept that all feelings in this world are fleeting.

But she really couldn't accept that Mo Tingchuan would give her to another man.

Mingdai wanted nothing more than to slap Mo Tingchuan hard.

"For your future, for your open affair with Qin Weiwei, and to make the Ming family's help to you over the past three years disappear, you have done the most heinous things in the world. What right do you have to pretend to be a victim?"

If time could truly go back, Mingdai would never again allow herself to help the poor.

The sounds coming from the living room were heard by Mo Yumei, who lived nearby.

She rushed out.

Mingdai glanced at Mo Yumei, her face darkening, and went upstairs without a word.

Although Mo Yumei didn't know what had happened, she could tell from the situation that her son and Mingdai had quarreled.

"What happened?"

Mo Yumei quickly pulled Mo Tingchuan to a blind spot in the surveillance footage.

"Can't we just talk things out? Do you want to make everyone come out to see us make a fool of ourselves?"

Mo Tingchuan remained silent, his emotions running high, and he struggled to control himself.

Mo Yumei frowned and asked, "Have you mentioned the divorce to her?"

Mo Tingchuan suddenly glared at his mother.

"We will not get a divorce."

In any case, the more Mingdai wanted to escape this marriage, the less Mo Tingchuan wanted to let her have her way.

"How can this be allowed!"

Mo Yumei was disappointed in him.

"Have you forgotten how she humiliated me today? Besides, if you don't divorce her, what will happen to Weiwei's child? Don't you want to be a legitimate young master of the He family?"

There is no conflict between the two.

Mo Tingchuan pushed his mother away, saying, "Let's not talk about this anymore."

Mo Yumei was going crazy.

He watched his son walk away quickly.

"Tingchuan, you can't be so willful; this concerns your entire life!"

Mo Tingchuan ignored him and quickly disappeared through the doorway.

Mo Yumei was so angry she felt like fainting.

She went back to her room and lay down immediately.

He Yaoyuan came in.

"What's wrong?"

Mo Yumei's eyes welled up with tears of grievance.

"I really can't go on living like this. I don't know what tricks Mingdai used to make Tingchuan not want a divorce at all."

Mo Yumei shrugged her shoulders and sobbed.

"If this continues, who knows what he might do to upset Yao Nian."

Mo Yumei was so angry that she couldn't lie down anymore.

He rolled over and sat up.

“He wasn’t like this before. He hated Mingdai so much and wished he could kick her to the curb. But now, I don’t know what’s wrong with him. He can’t even mention divorce. He gets angry as soon as it’s brought up.”

Mo Yumei looked at He Yaoyuan.

"Didn't you say you wanted to ask Yao Nian about tracing your ancestry? What did Yao Nian say?"

He Yaoyuan sat down by the bed.

The person being asked the question appeared to be in a bad mood.

"If Tingchuan doesn't divorce Mingdai, how can the process of recognizing his ancestors and returning to his clan possibly proceed?"

Mo Yumei was surprised.

"Did Yao Nian really care that much about Ming Dai?"

"I think Mingdai probably cares a lot about Yao Nian too. Didn't Qingying say that Mingdai bought a watch worth over three million yuan and gave it to Yao Nian?"

Mo Yumei immediately pressed her hand to her temple.

He lowered his head, looking as if he was about to faint.
