Xu Yuehua braced herself with one hand on the ground to avoid falling awkwardly.
The man was in hot pursuit, and the next second, sword energy flew in from all directions, clearly intended to kill Xu Yuehuai on the spot.
Xu Yuehuai's face darkened, and she retreated again, but unexpectedly, the mysterious sword energy disappeared as soon as she retreated.
Xu Yuehuai remained vigilant, looking around.
Shi Zhi sat on a tree, lounging around with a blade of grass dangling from his mouth, staring at Xu Yuehuai with a mocking expression.
However, the next second, a silver needle flew straight towards Shi Zhiyu.
He then used his spiritual power to jump down from the tree, took the poisoned silver needle from his hair, and said with a shocked expression, "I have to say, you're too ruthless, woman. I was just watching a show, did you have to kill me?"
Xu Yuehuai subtly observed the man in front of her. After discovering that the spiritual energy emanating from him was not the same as the one that had attacked her earlier, she replied, "You were acting suspiciously, and you were all alone around here, so I naturally assumed that you were the one who attacked me."
"Since you said you were watching the show here, you should know who attacked me just now, right?" Xu Yuehuai smoothly changed the subject.
Shi Zhiyu laughed and said, "Who said the one who attacked you was a person?"
Xu Yuehua frowned in confusion, not understanding what Shi Zhiyu was talking about. Clearly, he didn't intend to keep her in suspense and continued, "Didn't you notice that people only attacked you after you entered the Ghost Domain Forest?"
"So... it's an illusion?" Xu Yuehuai had seen illusions before, but she had never seen such a strange environment.
"Don't normal environments trap people or amplify their deepest fears? Why does this one want to kill me right from the start?" Xu Yuehuai continued to ask.
However, Shi Zhi clapped his hands without answering, saying, "You have too many questions. I don't want to answer them right now. I'm leaving. Good luck to you."
Xu Yuehuai felt a strange sense of trust in this man of unknown origin, but she didn't know how to explain it.
After leaving, Shi Zhi found a nearby cave, tidied up, and went straight to sleep, completely unaware of his surroundings.

"I think that girl is definitely a big shot. We didn't detect any spiritual energy on her when we were talking before. She must have been hiding it!" Ding Hexing analyzed excitedly.
Jin Nan ignored him, focusing on looking at the surroundings and finding the way forward.
Yu Er sneered, "That's all you're good for. You think everyone's a big shot. If she were really that great, why would she be in such a remote place? Someone who can hide their spiritual power is at least at the second level."
"Couldn't she have come down to play or run errands? Junior sister, you're being too absolute," Ding He retorted.
Yu Er didn't want to argue with him about such useless things.
"Don't you believe me? She's probably a weapon refiner. Otherwise, where did she get that flying carpet? That level of spiritual weapon is at least level two. In this godforsaken place on the third floor, there aren't many level two weapon refiners. How could someone spend so much spiritual energy to refine such a simple thing?"
Ding He felt more and more that what he said made sense.
Suddenly, a voice broke in, "You lot are making a racket so early in the morning, where other people are sleeping. You have no manners at all."
His voice was clearly filled with anger, and you could tell that he had just woken up.
Ding He and the others were startled.
"May I ask which senior you are? Would you please come out and meet me?" Jin Nan glanced at Ding He and said in a humble voice.
Behind them, Shi Zhiyu emerged from the cave behind them. He had used his spiritual power to conceal the cave, so that unless you looked closely, it was just a normal large rock, and you wouldn't notice that there was a cave there.
Jin Nan and the others turned around at the same time. When Ding He saw Shi Zhiyu, his eyes lit up. "Senior Brother! What brings you here too!"
Ding He excitedly stepped forward, wanting to give Shi Zhiyu a touching hug, but then Shi Zhiyu raised his hand and blocked him with a wall of spiritual energy.
"You're so many days late, and you still have the nerve to say that?" Shi Zhiyu's disdain was undisguised, and his tone was rather unfriendly.
Ding He seemed completely oblivious, continuing to enthusiastically circle around Shi Zhiyu.
Jin Nan stepped forward, his eyes full of respect, "I'm sorry, Senior Brother, we didn't know you were resting here, otherwise I definitely wouldn't have let Junior Brother disturb you."
Shi Zhi didn't look at Jin Nan, but instead looked in another direction. "Eavesdropping on other people's conversations is a very impolite thing to do."
Following his words, Ding He and the others looked in the direction he was looking, but they saw nothing.
Suddenly, Xu Yuehuai appeared out of nowhere, standing in front of them. "I wasn't eavesdropping. I was in that tree. You were the ones talking without keeping it to yourselves."
After Xu Yuehuai left after treating the patient, she tried to enter the Ghost Forest several times, but to her surprise, she was attacked every time she entered. She originally thought that she could just resist the attacks and find out what was attacking her.
So she tried countless times, only to find that the thing seemed to have no weaknesses, and she couldn't find anything.
In the end, all they could do was watch Shi Zhiyu from the shadows, trying to see how he managed to get into that Ghost Forest.
So, by sheer coincidence, I witnessed several fellow students meeting up this morning.
"It's you!" Yu Er exclaimed in surprise.
Seeing that they actually knew each other, Shi Zhi became interested and asked, "You know each other?"
"We've met once, but that doesn't count as knowing each other." Xu Yuehuai didn't want to admit that she knew these not-so-bright people.
Yu Er was displeased to hear her say that, but she had no words to refute it, since that was the truth of the matter.
Shi Zhi nodded knowingly, "Everyone's here, let's go."
Yu Er was stunned, looking at Shi Zhiyu in disbelief, "Senior Brother, you don't mean to take this woman with you, do you?"
"Why not?" Shi Zhi was relatively good to Yu Er and didn't turn around and leave immediately.
Looking at his senior brother's eyes, Yu Er swallowed back all the words he was about to say.
"...No." And so, Xu Yuehuai inexplicably followed them into the Ghost Domain Forest.
But for some reason, nothing happened when they went in together.
Xu Yuehua frowned as she looked around.
Shi Zhi walked alongside her, and could tell what she was thinking just by looking at her little expression. "I forgot to tell you, this Ghost Forest will attack anyone who enters alone, so we'll probably be traveling together for the next few days."
