0036 Check-in

0036 Check-in

Upon arriving at their destination, Su He'an and Song Yue got out of the car, first pulling over their suitcases, and then queuing up to go to their accommodation.

The morning is a free time, mainly to let the students get to know the environment, like letting newly arrived kittens roam freely for a couple of days until they get used to their surroundings before starting any activities.

Song Yue arrived at the dormitory with great excitement and saw a clean and spacious four-person room. Each person had a bed on top, with a table underneath and a small wardrobe next to it.

Su He'an glanced at it disdainfully, "So small!"

"It's not small at all. Besides, there are only four of us. Why would we need such a big suitcase?" Song Yue grabbed her luggage and tried to go inside, but after a few pulls, the suitcase remained unmoved, and she was very discouraged.

Su He'an looked at his sister, whose face was contorted with effort, but whose suitcase remained completely still. With a smug expression, he deliberately placed his hand on the suitcase and gently pushed it.

The suitcase was then pulled.

Song Yue was so angry that her cheeks puffed up. She simply ordered Su He'an to pull the suitcase in, picked a spot, and laid the suitcase down and opened it.

She wanted to see exactly what her two older brothers had put inside.

Pulling open a crack in the suitcase, the outer shell was instantly stretched open.

Various disposable toiletries, sunscreen, Song Yue's favorite cup, pillowcase, plus a variety of snacks, and a whole bag of milk powder.

In no time, it filled the table, wardrobe, and bed.

Song Yue watched speechlessly as Su He'an continued to take things out.

After emptying the suitcase, Su He'an glanced at it and said, "It's okay, you'll probably use most of these things after your military training is over."

However, the thought of her two older brothers using disposable toiletries so that their younger sister wouldn't have to do the hard work of washing clothes outside made her frown.

Finally, Su He'an helped her pack all her things before Song Yue sent her back to his dormitory.

*

Song Yue was resting and waiting for Su He'an to contact her. She was on her phone sending a message to her brothers at home to let them know she was safe when the door was pushed open and two familiar people came in.

It was the same two people who were in the car just now.

"The luggage arrived too late, making us wait for ages!" A somewhat shrill female voice shouted from the doorway.

Another, gentle voice, with a hint of coquettishness, said: "The timing is fine, it's just that you've had a hard time, Binglan."

"It's alright, you're too weak, don't bother." As she spoke, she looked up at the dormitory.

The girl with the ponytail paused for a moment when she saw Song Yue, then clearly rolled her eyes at Song Yue and said to the girl with long hair, "What bad luck! Staying in such a terrible place, I wonder how I'll get through these next few days?"

The long-haired girl also saw Song Yue, but after hearing her friend's words, she nudged her and then smiled apologetically at Song Yue, saying, "I'm sorry, Binglan didn't mean any harm, she's just a bit direct." Mi Chuxue stepped forward with a smile, "My name is Mi Chuxue. I don't know your name. We'll be classmates from now on, so let's help each other out!"

Yu Binglan impatiently grabbed Mi Chuxue, "Xiaoxue!" Her eyes kept glaring at Song Yue.

Song Yue's face was devoid of any smile; she simply said, "Song Yue."

Mi Chuxue was taken aback by the way the other party treated her and didn't react for a moment.

Yu Binglan, who was standing next to her, was so angry that she wanted to yell and curse, but Mi Chuxue stopped her.

The atmosphere was awkward when another person walked in through the door.

Wan Lanlan stood awkwardly at the doorway, carrying two large bags of things.

"Have you chosen your seats?" She looked at the four beds and saw that only one seat was clearly occupied; the other three were empty.

Mi Chuxue, pulling Yu Binglan along, explained with a smile, "We just arrived too, we haven't chosen yet."

Yu Binglan waved her hand angrily, turned around and went to the bed opposite Song Yue, where she put her things on the table.

A hint of annoyance flashed in Mi Chuxue's eyes, but she quickly suppressed it.

"There are two left. You can choose either one; I'm fine with either one." Wan Lanlan walked in carrying the items and placed them in the middle.

Mi Chuxue said softly, "Then I'll choose this one." She pointed to a spot seemingly casually, but this bed was actually far from the toilet, quiet and clean.

Wan Lanlan was oblivious and didn't care where she stayed. After Mi Chuxue made her choice, she carried her things to another location.

They quietly packed their things without saying a word, unlike the lively atmosphere of other dorm rooms where laughter could be heard coming through the open door.

She sat there, absorbed in her brothers' barrage of questions, completely ignoring the strange things happening in the dorm, even if she knew, she didn't care.

After packing her things, Mi Chuxue took Yu Binglan out.

Wan Lanlan then came over to chat with Song Yue for a few minutes.

Although Song Yue is naive, she is always able to intuitively sense the malice others have towards her.

"What happened in the dorm just now? Did they bully you?"

It's no wonder Wan Lanlan thought that way. Song Yue looked like a delicate, petite, innocent, and easily bullied girl. If she hadn't seen her in the classroom yesterday, she would have suspected that some child had sneaked in to play.

Although Song Yue didn't know how Wan Lanlan perceived her, Wan Lanlan's expression was sincere and made her feel comfortable.

"No, they don't like me." Song Yue's eyes darted around, a slight smile playing on her lips, and she shrugged helplessly.

Wan Lanlan: "Why? Did you know each other before?"

Song Yue tilted her head and thought for a moment, "I don't know him, but I saw him once in the classroom yesterday."

"What kind of acquaintance is that! Forget about them, military training is only a few days anyway, we'll be fine once we get back to school." Suddenly she looked around, lowered her voice and approached Song Yue, saying with a slightly excited expression, "I actually have a question I want to ask you."

Song Yue asked in confusion, "What?"

Wan Lanlan leaned closer to her and asked, "I want to ask you, what is your relationship with Su He'an? Are you two a couple?"

Upon hearing this, Song Yue's eyes widened in surprise!

"No! He's my brother!"

“But his surname is Su, and yours is Song…” Wan Lanlan asked curiously.

Song Yue unconsciously poked her cheek with her small hand, and said with a conflicted look, "This is a bit complicated, let's talk about it later, anyway, he is my brother."

Wan Lanlan realized that Song Yue was telling the truth, and her curiosity dissipated considerably. "Okay, let's talk about it another time. Anyway, I'll be sitting in front of you in the classroom."

"..." Speaking of this, Song Yue looked blank. Yesterday, after Su He'an arranged her place, she was taken home.

Seeing her blank expression, Wan Lanlan hesitated for a moment, then realized that it made sense; when she finally sat down yesterday, the table behind her was already empty.

Suddenly, my phone rang.

Song Yue glanced at her phone screen and said to Wan Lanlan, "I'm going to have dinner with Su He'an. Do you want to come with me?"

Wan Lanlan immediately nodded, her big eyes sparkling.

When Song Yue answered the phone, Su He'an indeed asked her to have lunch at the cafeteria.

After hanging up the phone, the two of them went out together.

P.S.: I might be releasing some colorful items soon~
