0037 Introduce a friend
Su He'an had already bought the food at the restaurant, with Jiang Xinglan and Yang Mingxuan following beside him.
"He'an, why were you running so fast just now? You just wanted to have a meal with Song Yue, did you want to shake us off?" Jiang Xinglan sat down opposite Su He'an with the food in her hands.
Yang Mingxuan sat down next to Jiang Xinglan, looking at him with a mocking expression.
Su He'an: "Didn't you two say you weren't hungry yet and would eat later?"
"I'm suddenly hungry again."
Jiang Xinglan took a bite of the braised pork, and her expression froze the next moment.
Upon seeing this, Yang Mingxuan couldn't help but ask, "What's wrong? Doesn't it taste good?"
Jiang Xinglan chewed a few times, swallowed, and stared at the few unremarkable dishes on the plate: "No, this is so delicious! I thought the food in the cafeteria here must be bad. If Su He'an hadn't come, I would have thought I would just eat some instant noodles to tide me over."
"Really?" Yang Mingxuan was skeptical, but he also picked up his own chicken wings and started eating. His eyes lit up instantly, and he chewed faster.
Su and An looked helplessly at the two foodies, glanced at the time, and then looked towards the restaurant entrance.
Suddenly two figures entered. His heart jumped, but when he realized it wasn't the person he was waiting for, he glanced down at his phone.
Yu Binglan was still angry when she thought about what had happened before. It was only after Mi Chuxue coaxed her that she finally showed some kindness.
The two of them had been getting ready for a long time since early morning and were starving. When they tried to go out to eat, the security guard at the gate told them that they couldn't go out or order takeout and that they could only eat in the cafeteria for the time being.
The two were forced to come to the cafeteria.
As soon as she entered, Mi Chuxue saw Su He'an and the other two, and her heart started racing.
There weren't many people in the cafeteria right now. Su and An were sitting in the middle of the path from the entrance to the food serving window, facing the door. They could see her as soon as they looked up.
Mi Chuxue withdrew her hand nervously, preparing to greet him.
Yu Binglan also saw Su He'an, raised her eyebrows at Mi Chuxue, and gently nudged her with her shoulder.
Mi Chuxue felt her face flush as she looked at her friend's gesture, her eyes darting around, but she slowly moved forward.
Ten steps, eight steps, five steps...
She was just about to greet Su He'an in the usual way, and as she half-raised her hand, her eyes fell on him. Before she could even speak, she saw Su He'an, who had been sitting quietly, waving happily toward the door.
She smoothed her hair to hide her urge to turn around and looked away, then walked towards the food window as if nothing had happened.
A familiar voice came from behind me.
"Su He'an, wow! You bought so much!"
A clear male voice, tinged with affection, said, "It's alright. See what you like to eat, and give me the rest."
On their first day, Su He'an didn't know what Song Yue wanted to eat, so he just picked out a few things. After going around in circles, he unknowingly bought more than he wanted.
Seeing Mi Chuxue's pale face, Yu Binglan quickened her pace and pulled her away.
Song Yue led Wan Lanlan to sit down, and they introduced themselves to each other.
Su He'an looked at Wan Lanlan and gave her a rare kind look. "Song Yue isn't feeling very well, so please take good care of her. Contact me if anything happens."
As he spoke, he gave Wan Lanlan his phone number.
In the end, Wan Lanlan wanted to buy her own food, but she couldn't because Su and An had bought so much food that it was enough for the three of them to eat their fill.
Jiang Xinglan and Yang Mingxuan watched Su He'an's actions and thought to themselves that he was taking care of his girlfriend.
Now everyone has learned to get information through their roommates.
After finishing their meal, the three boys escorted the two girls back to their dorm before leisurely returning to their own dorm.
Wan Lanlan stood at the door, pinched her cheek, and said to Song Yue with a bewildered look, "I heard before that Su He'an's personality wasn't very good, but I didn't expect him to treat me to dinner like this! And!!! I even have his phone number!!"
Song Yue tilted her head, thought about how her sixth brother usually got along with his other brothers at home, and nodded: "He can be quite irritable sometimes, but he's a very good person!"

There were four boys in the dormitory. When the other three returned, they found one person lying on the empty bed.
Jiang Xinglan glanced around. "Hey classmate, you're here. I thought there were only three of us in our dorm. My name is Jiang Xinglan, what's your name?"
Yin Xingjin opened his eyes, glanced at the three people under the bed, and said indifferently, "Yin Xingjin, I just arrived."
"Oh, you're the boy who transferred here this semester," Jiang Xinglan said loudly.
Yin Xingjin nodded, "I just moved here; I transferred here this semester."
Yang Mingxuan asked, "How did you know?"
Jiang Xinglan touched her nose. "I overheard it when I went to the office before. They said that two students transferred to our class. One is Su He'an's sister, and the other is him."
Su He'an looked at Yin Xingjin and said, "My name is Su He'an, and this is Yang Mingxuan."
Yin Xingjin nodded.
After exchanging greetings, the group dispersed.
Yin Xingjin didn't seem like an outgoing or enthusiastic person, so the group didn't bother him any further.
Su He'an picked up his phone and saw several private messages from his brothers.
Eight out of eight questions were about her younger sister, expressing concern for her food, shelter, drink, and health...
Helpless, he could only reply to each of them, otherwise he would probably be bombarded with phone calls.
