Chapter 110
When Jin Chuwan woke up, it was already midnight.
She opened her eyes and found herself in her own room, still feeling a little confused.
The window wasn't closed properly, and a draft kept blowing in. The room was quiet except for the sound of the curtains fluttering.
She felt a little thirsty, and after lingering in bed for a while, she finally got up.
When she turned on the light, she subconsciously glanced at the mirror on the wall and was surprised to find that she had already changed into her pajamas. She touched her neckline, somewhat stunned, but even after racking her brains, she couldn't remember anything.
However, she remained calm. She guessed that she had changed it herself before going to sleep, but just couldn't remember it at the moment.
Jin Chuwan scratched her hair and pushed open the door.
The living room was brightly lit.
She squinted and glanced into the living room, wearing slippers.
The roses on the table looked very vibrant, and she sniffed, faintly smelling a hint of smoke.
Jin Chuwan instinctively frowned, but she still couldn't figure out where the smell of smoke was coming from.
After all, her living room is now packed with people.
Jiang Chen took over the sofa and lay down on it, while Li Xing'en sat next to him, texting on her phone.
Cheng Xiucheng and Yin Zhihua sat at the table, one yawning lazily, the other pushing up his glasses with a serious expression.
Next to them was Cheng Ya, who was packing her luggage.
Jin Chuwan's appearance seemed to break some kind of balance. Everyone's eyes turned to her. Cheng Ya seemed very happy, looked up and smiled, and then waved to greet them.
"Wanwan is awake?"
Kim Chuwan nodded.
But then he shook his head.
She wasn't sure if she was really awake; the scene before her seemed a bit too shocking, and her mind was a mess. She rubbed her eyes and went to the kitchen first.
Not long after, Jin Chuwan's yawn could be heard from inside.
The living room was quiet for a while, then someone asked a question.
"Are you still half asleep?"
Someone replied quickly.
"I was still half asleep."
The kettle was boiling water. Jin Chuwan stood up, leaning on the counter. Her head was slightly tilted, and her eyes were closed. She looked as if she had fallen asleep while standing.
Cheng Ya got up, took a few steps, and peeked out. She smiled first, then skillfully turned on the rear camera of her phone.
Jiang Chen, who was lying on the sofa, glanced at it, then closed his eyes and lay back down. He frowned slightly, looking somewhat tired.
"After all these years, why is your sister still the same?"
Cheng Xiucheng realized that Jiang Chen was talking to him, but at this moment he was only confused and surprised. He pointed to the kitchen.
"My sister? She's always been like this?"
Jiang Chen glanced at the man at the table, then closed his eyes, refusing to communicate.
But the sound of the camera still startled Jin Chuwan. She turned around, glanced back, and then reached out her hand.
"Hand it over."
Cheng Ya's smile faded, but that didn't stop her from quickly forwarding the photo to Cheng Xiucheng and promptly deleting the record.
The people in the living room saw Miss Cheng respectfully hand over the phone, and then strolled back as if nothing had happened.
Cheng Xiucheng felt his phone vibrate and took it out to look at it. The three photos that suddenly flashed on the screen made him feel a little flustered. He glanced guiltily at Cheng Ya not far away, but saw that she was still calmly packing her suitcase.
What he actually meant was that taking photos without permission is wrong.
But he opened his mouth but couldn't say anything, and in the end, he could only nervously click "save" under the table.
I doubt anyone has noticed.
Sung Soo-seung pushed up his glasses.
Li Xingen glanced at the brother and sister, a hint of disdain flashing across his usually gentle face, but he didn't say anything, after all, the situation was already chaotic enough.
After the water boiled, Jin Chuwan took a cup out of the cupboard.
The outside was eerily quiet, with only the sound of Cheng Ya's footsteps going in and out of the room.
Jin Chuwan stared blankly for a while, then walked out with her water glass in her arms, looking at the men in the living room.
She looked fairly calm, but her slightly furrowed brows made the men realize that Jin Chuwan was probably about to ask them to leave.
After all, her temper is much worse now than before.
Thinking this, Yin Zhihua suddenly glanced at Cheng Ya with a reproachful look, feeling that she was the one who had led Jin Chuwan astray.
She was never this hard to coax before...
Sure enough, Jin Chuwan finally spoke up soon.
"Who was smoking inside?"
She asked softly, but her eyes were filled with hostility.
Kim Cho-wan glanced at Sung Soo-seung instinctively, but his eyes looked so innocent that she let him go.
So she turned her attention to other people.
No one answered in the living room; everyone was looking at their own things, but no one was watching Jin Chuwan.
That would mean everyone is an accomplice.
Jin Chuwan gave a soft hum and finally stopped investigating.
She turned and went back to her bedroom, and a moment later Cheng Ya followed her in with her suitcase.
The door slammed shut, and the air seemed to loosen slightly for a moment.
Yin Zhihua clutched his chest and let out a sigh of relief.
"Damn, my heart was racing just now. How can she be so scary now..."
Li Xingen glanced at him, then took her phone and went straight to the room he had just chosen.
Judging from Kim Cho-man's attitude, he probably doesn't want to manage them anymore. So now, following orders has become self-determination.
Before Li Xing'en could open the door, her shoulder was grabbed.
Yin Zhihua gave a forced smile. "I'm saying, aren't you acting like you're not part of the group?"
His sofa was occupied by Jiang Chen. There were only three guest rooms in the house, and he couldn't take Cheng Xiucheng's or Cheng Ya's.
So now the two of them are going to fight over it.
Li Xingen smiled, shook off the hand on his shoulder, glanced at the few people watching the show, and turned to walk towards Jin Chuwan's room.
The others frowned and stared at Li Xing'en, not understanding what he was going to do.
A moment later, Cheng Ya opened the door and came out. She looked Li Xing'en up and down and then asked.
"What's up?"
Li Xingen smiled, then stepped aside to make way for Cheng Ya.
Yin Zhihua was stunned for a moment. Just as he was about to react, he saw Li Xingen slip into the room while Cheng Ya was not paying attention.
The next second, the sound of the door being locked came from inside.
Yin Zhihua, who had chased after her, frantically banged on the door, while also making insults and threats against Li Xing'en's character and safety.
Separated by a door, Cheng Ya also looked at Li Xing En in disbelief.
She instinctively picked up the vase on the table, determined to settle both old and new scores if Li Xing'en dared to make any further moves.
But Li Xing'en made no other move.
Jin Chuwan, who had just lain down, was getting a headache from all the noise. She lifted the covers, glanced at the scene, and then asked slowly and helplessly.
"What's wrong?"
The tall young man's gaze swept over Jin Chuwan on the bed. She was buried in the blankets, with only her head showing. Her eyes looked at him with weariness and languor.
He smiled with his head down, but his gaze was deep and unsettling.
"I have nowhere to sleep..."
As soon as Li Xing'en finished speaking, Cheng Ya, who was standing next to her, made a disgusted face, "This is my house, why should you have a place to sleep? And get out of here and stop getting in my way..."
Cheng Ya, remembering the money she had lost, showed no mercy to Li Xing'en.
But Lee Sung-eun seemed not to hear, and just stared quietly at Kim Cho-wan.
The more Cheng Ya scolded him, the quieter he became. After a few rounds, he seemed to be a submissive wife.
Cheng Ya was tired of cursing, so she took a sip of water. But as she put down the glass, she seemed to suddenly realize something and abruptly turned to look at Jin Chuwan: "Wanwan, don't be fooled by him. This guy is a complete green tea b*tch, a scheming man..."
Li Xing'en listened with her head down, her gray eyes gentle as water.
Jin Chuwan, who had been resting with her eyes closed, finally got out of bed. She nodded in agreement with Cheng Ya's assessment, then opened the closet and took out two quilts.
Soon, the door opened.
Upon seeing Jin Chuwan, Yin Zhihua, who was standing outside the door, immediately composed himself and glanced around the room with a puzzled look.
When Li Xingen first sneaked in, he was worried, but before long he could only hear Cheng Ya's one-sided output, and Li Xingen didn't even utter a word of rebuttal.
So this guy went in looking for trouble?
Yin Zhihua glanced amusedly at the young man who followed Jin Chuwan out.
He seemed quite calm; in other words, he really had a thick skin.
All eyes in the living room followed Jin Chuwan's movements once again.
She moved the furniture a few times, then spread the blanket on the wooden floor. After tidying up, she glanced around and finally her gaze fell on the man lying on the sofa.
Jiang Chen raised an eyebrow. He didn't think Li Xing'en would dare to do anything, so he had been lying still. But as Jin Chuwan approached, he finally sat up and offered her the cushion behind him.
It is said that Jin Chuwan hated being disturbed while sleeping since she was a child, and it seems that this has not changed.
That face was so gloomy, it looked like it wanted to devour someone.
Jiang Chen's gaze wandered, avoiding looking at Jin Chuwan.
"Alright, that's enough for now. It's getting late, so you should all get some rest."
Jin Chuwan rubbed her shoulders, her expression relatively calm, but as she spoke, her gaze swept over the people around her.
"We'll settle the score tomorrow..."
Jin Chuwan spoke casually, then closed the bedroom door behind her.
This time, Cheng Ya didn't dare to go any closer.
She glared fiercely at Li Xing'en, who was about to lie down as if nothing had happened.
"Troublemaker—"
After summarizing her thoughts, she turned and went back to her room.
Cheng Xiucheng looked at his younger sister, whose memory was still blank, but he yawned and went back to his room.
This time it finally quieted down, with only Yin Zhihua glancing worriedly at Jiang Chen, who remained indifferent.
"Tell me, what accounts will she settle tomorrow?"
Yin Zhihua pointed to the innermost room as he spoke, and Jiang Chen chuckled softly with his eyes closed.
"Well... who smokes, who stays at her house, who upsets her, what else could it be?"
"Oh..." Yin Zhihua nodded, then asked, "So... what usually happens after the calculation is done?"
"Should we kick them out?"
Jiang Chen considered it carefully.
Of course, there might also be situations like blocking someone, cutting off contact, and not communicating at all.
Those dark eyes gazed at the light not far away, a cute, almost childish mushroom lampshade, clearly reflecting Jin Chuwan's personal taste.
He smiled, then slowly closed his eyes. Perhaps because he had slept during the day, his mind was now clearer. Thinking about it carefully, Jin Chuwan had always been very tolerant of him since childhood. Even if he deliberately made her angry, she would almost never get angry.
So now he's starting to get curious.
What is Kim Jong-un like when he gets angry?
Should she glare at him coldly? Or slap him? Or suddenly grab his hair?
