Chapter 24

Chapter 24

The concert lasted two hours.

At the end, the staff gave Jin Chuwan a CD with Yin Zhihua's mother's autograph on it.

Kim Cho-wan was overjoyed. Just as she was about to thank him, the staff member in front of her suddenly lifted the brim of his hat.

It turned out to be Yin Zhihua.

He was wearing ordinary work clothes and a uniform mask. Jin Chuwan looked at him nonchalantly, glanced around nervously, and then lowered her voice.

"Your fans are everywhere here, aren't you afraid of being discovered?"

The night was brightly lit, and the boy's smile was as radiant as fireworks. He looked down at the girl's uneasy eyes and slowly bent down.

"Don't worry, Mom has hidden me very well. Nobody here knows who I am."

Of course, the "here" the boy was referring to was not Jin Chuwan.

As the crowd dispersed, the lights in the venue were gradually turned off, and the once dazzling stage suddenly dimmed.

Jin Chuwan leaned back slightly with her hands behind her back, looking up at the boy, then poked him on the shoulder with a finger.

"Speak up, don't get so close."

Although Jin Chuwan knew that Yin Zhihua was usually a person with no sense of boundaries, she couldn't get used to this kind of closeness.

Fortunately, Yin Zhihua obediently stepped back a little after hearing this.

Several staff members came over to clean and saw Yin Zhihua standing with a girl in the distance. They exchanged glances and immediately revealed ambiguous smiles.

"Hey, Zhihua—"

Hearing someone shout, the two looked over together, and the next moment Jin Chuwan covered her face with her hands in a panic.

Several people across the street were holding up cameras. Suddenly, a flash of light appeared, and Yin Zhihua angrily chased after them.

Fortunately, only a few spectators from Xingling remained on the field at this time, and no one paid attention to the commotion.

Jin Chuwan sighed wearily. She opened her phone and sent a message to Yin Zhihua, then left the venue with the CDs in her arms. She had missed several calls because of the concert, and she needed to return them quickly.

Jin Chuwan checked her phone's records; there were four missed calls, all from Li Xing'en.

Counting the days, it seems she hasn't been away from home for very long, only about half a month. Even her parents have gradually become relieved, but Li Xing'en seems afraid that she will get lost, and still checks her location again and again.

Although he was always very gentle, and even his questions never felt deliberate or offensive, Kim Cho-wan gradually began to have the illusion that she was being 'watched'.

Thinking it over, Jin Chuwan pressed the call button, wanting to have a proper talk with Li Xingen.

But this time the other party didn't answer the phone. Jin Chuwan dialed again, but there was still no answer.

Are you asleep?

Jin Chuwan glanced at her phone; it was only ten o'clock.

She typed a text message explaining the situation and then put her phone back in her bag.

He'll see it when he wakes up.

--

The moonlight gently enveloped the night.

At the same time, in a luxury villa in another city.

The phone, which was placed on the table, shifted slightly due to the vibration.

The boy stared at the screen that had gone out and then lit up again, his gray eyes narrowing slightly.

twice.

It seems his aunt has improved a lot compared to before.

--

The seaside is much quieter after nightfall compared to the developed cities, because only a small portion of the area has been developed. So when you look up, you can still see an endless starry sky and fireflies that twinkle for a moment.

As night passed, the city gradually returned to its bustling state.

Jin Chuwan was woken up by her alarm clock. She glanced at her phone's calendar and realized that there were only two days left until the college application deadline.

It seems she's preparing to go back.

Thinking of this, Jin Chuwan immediately got out of bed.

She quickly changed her clothes, ready to enjoy a delicious breakfast, but was startled the moment she opened the door.

There was a man squatting in front of my door—

Jin Chuwan, still shaken and clutching her backpack, looked at the familiar baseball cap and immediately realized that the person was Yin Zhihua.

The boy leaned against the door with his head tilted, seemingly fast asleep. Jin Chuwan looked at the marks on his face, unsure of what expression to make.

"Wake up..."

"Yin Zhihua?"

The boy's eyelashes fluttered, and he gradually relaxed only after he saw that the person standing in front of him was Jin Chuwan.

Jin Chuwan watched as he reached into his pocket, pulled out a stack of photos, and handed them to her.

"It was so hard to get it back last night..."

Yin Zhihua muttered to himself as he yawned.

Jin Chuwan looked down at the photos in her hand; they were clearly the ones that had been secretly taken last night.

Because it was taken at night, the lighting was very dim, but even so, the two people in the photo can still be clearly identified.

From looking up to the sudden change in expression, the entire action was recorded.

Kim Cho-wan looked at herself in the photo.

This is actually the only photo of people taken during this trip.

At this moment, Yin Zhihua stood up in a daze. He had gone to bed very late last night because his mother had seen the photos and had questioned him about them for a long time.

"Let's go have breakfast."

Jin Chuwan frowned slightly as she watched Yin Zhihua sway as he stood up. She wanted to persuade him to go back and rest, but Yin Zhihua was adamant.

Kim Chu-wan was somewhat helpless, but she still agreed.

The resort has six restaurants, each with its own style and ambiance. Kim Cho-wan chose the closest one, but by the time the pretty waitress in the floral dress brought her breakfast, she had lost all appetite.

She rested her chin on her hand and looked out the window.

Most tourists who come to enjoy the morning light are in groups of two or three. They either take photos of each other or carry small shovels to the beach to go beachcombing.

The person opposite her was fast asleep, slumped over the table.

Jin Chuwan glanced at Yin Zhihua and suddenly became curious. Compared to heirs like Jiang Chen or Cheng Ya, why did Yin Zhihua, who was also one of the main characters, seem so 'idle'?

The boy groggily opened his eyes. The sunlight by the window was too bright for him, and he squinted at the girl in front of him.

"Now that you're awake, hurry up and eat..."

The girl's lips opened and closed, but Yin Zhihua didn't hear her clearly.

Seeing the boy's confused expression, Jin Chuwan said helplessly, "The food is served. After you finish eating, go back and rest. I have other things to do and have to go now."

After saying that, Jin Chuwan stood up. As she turned to leave, she heard a soft hum from the boy behind her. She immediately turned around and saw that the boy, who had just woken up, had slumped back onto the table.

It was as if what she had just heard was just an illusion.

Jin Chuwan narrowed her eyes slightly, but she didn't say anything.

After all, yesterday's CD was still in her backpack.

--

On the last day of her holiday, Jin Chuwan went to a seaside amusement park.

Initially, she wanted to go with Cheng Ya's butler, but no matter how she tried to persuade or ask him to take off his sunglasses and change his suit, he refused with silence.

So Kim Cho-wan decided to go by herself.

Rather than being stared at with strange looks, I'd rather ride the Ferris wheel ten times by myself.

Jin Chuwan secretly made up her mind, but when she stood under the giant Ferris wheel, she realized that she would have to wait in line for half an hour to get on...

So she spent almost her last day queuing for various attractions.

When she boarded her family's private jet again, she was still a little lost, feeling that the kind of travel she had imagined was not like this.

Is it because I am alone?
