Chapter 48 He seems to be acting like a spoiled child
This sentence seemed to break some taboo.
Feng Yin's breathing suddenly became heavy, and the last trace of rationality in his eyes was completely torn away.
He suddenly grabbed Fu Ying's wrist and pressed her against the white bone bed. The rugged animal bones hurt her back. When his hot lips pressed down, the force was so great that Fu Ying tasted blood.
It was not a gentle touch, but a painful mark, like the teeth marks left by a wild animal on its prey.
Feng Yin's arm was tightly wrapped around her waist, and his other hand firmly grasped the back of her neck with irresistible force. Fu Ying frowned and murmured, "How about we eat the roast chicken first?"
Feng Yin ignored this.
The flickering light on the stone wall distorted the overlapping figures, and the intertwined breathing sounds in the ears were heavy.
When his snow-white sharp teeth scratched her collarbone, Fu Ying suddenly felt her whole body sink.
The human figure projected on the wall stretched out and turned into a giant beast!
Fu Ying opened her eyes wide and met Feng Yin's bright and shining animal eyes, and suddenly remembered something very important.
According to the ancient laws of the Orc Continent, the birth of a new life must go through the most primitive ritual - the female needs to withstand the power of the male in his full beast form.
Fu Ying's mouth twitched. He was so old and she was so small. Was it necessary to be so perverted?
Just as her body tensed, the fluffy white tail gently wrapped around her ankles.
The hair on the tip of his tail was unexpectedly soft, his animal eyes stared at her, his warm breath brushed across her neck, and he made an ambiguous purring sound in his throat, as if he was acting coquettishly.
"Bear with it."
A low and lingering voice sounded, and before Fu Ying could react, severe pain came over him.
She suddenly thought that she might as well take the blood from her heart.
Fu Ying's fingertips dug deep into the fur on Feng Yin's back, giving it a fluffy and wild touch.
She was like a small boat in a storm, thrown to the top by the huge waves and then fell into the abyss.
*
For two whole days, Fu Ying just went with the flow.
On the third day, Feng Chan finally stopped and transformed into a human form again. It wasn't because he didn't want to continue, but because the orcs of the tribe were shouting outside: "Chief, the high priest is here!"
Feng Yin's back lines were smooth and taut. He lowered his eyes to look at the listless Fu Ying, his narrow eyes filled with an inexplicable tenderness. He took a snow-white animal skin and covered her with it, whispering, "I'll be back soon."
After saying that, Feng Yin strode away.
Fu Ying lay on his back on the bone bed, his whole body looking like an eggplant hit by frost.
She suddenly realized that even if the strategy was completed, the most difficult step was actually the process.
Listening to the noisy sounds outside, Fu Ying sat up with a grin, took out various medicines from the space, applied them, and felt cool and refreshing. It had an immediate effect and his spirits returned.
She breathed a sigh of relief. Fortunately, she had a hook, otherwise she would not be able to withstand any of it and would have fallen apart.
When Fu Ying came out of the house, she didn't see any orcs. Judging from the noise, they should all be gathered at the entrance of the tribe. She didn't stop and ran over there in a hurry. She wondered what kind of medicine the high priest had in his hand?
As soon as he went out, he saw a large group of orcs kneeling on the ground.
They hunched their backs, holding the pitch-black animal crystals high above their heads, their arms trembling in the wind. Looking around, all they could see were these dark crystals, emitting a suffocating glow amidst the yellow sand.
Fu Ying frowned and immediately saw Feng Yin standing at the front of the crowd.
He stood proudly among the kneeling orcs, as tall as a spear, his long silver hair fluttering in the wind and sand.
In front of him stood a group of people, led by an envoy in a black robe. He was hunched over, his skinny fingers tightly gripping a bone scepter, and he was talking to Feng Yin.
Fu Ying paused and walked forward.
Before she even got close, she heard Feng Yin's unhappy voice: "Why are there so many beast crystals this month?"
The black-robed messenger sneered, "Chief Fengyin, you don't have to give me any medicine if it's too much. There are more people who want the medicine than just your Fengyin tribe. But I'm curious, Chief Fengyin's face was covered in rotting flesh last month, how come it's suddenly healed this month? Did he use some... treasure?"
Feng Yin's narrow, fox-like eyes flashed with a hint of coldness as he smiled faintly, "The High Priest is overthinking it. He just hunted a lynx and greased his face with it. It's not worth mentioning."
The black-robed envoy didn't ask any further questions. His voice was hoarse, "Ten beast crystals per person, not even one less."
Feng Yin's eyes were slightly cold, with a murderous look surging in them.
The running wolf on the side suddenly spoke up: "Chief, it's natural for the high priest to ask for beast crystals. We will give them to him!"
The corners of Feng Yin's eyes were bloodshot, and suddenly, his whole body stiffened, and the pain spread rapidly, corroding his bones and flesh.
"Chief?" Benlang shouted again.
Suddenly, Feng Yin felt a creepy sound of displacement in his spine. He slammed one knee into the sand. His silver hair fell down like a waterfall, covering up his gorgeous color. He was trembling all over, and cold sweat dripped into the dust.
"Huh..." The breath squeezed out of Feng Yin's throat was even wrapped in the smell of blood, and crackling cracks spread from his spine like a spider web.
The high priest looked at this scene coldly, and suddenly laughed: "What a coincidence, Chief Feng Yin, has he suffered a backlash?"
"Hmm... Let me think about it. How about fifteen beast crystals per person?"
Benlang's expression changed drastically, and he looked desperate.
Feng Yin forced himself to raise his head, and the broken lines on his face added a bit of evil to him.
Blood ran down his cheek, across his cervical vertebrae, and gathered into a small, dark pool at his shoulder.
Just as he was about to speak, a charming voice suddenly interrupted him, tinged with sarcasm: "Fifteen beast crystals per person? Aren't you afraid that your appetite will be too big and you'll die from eating too much?"
Feng Yin's expression suddenly changed. He frowned and looked at Fu Ying. He endured the severe pain and shouted, "Go back!"
The high priest stared at Fu Ying and suddenly laughed: "Female?"
Fu Ying stepped forward, held Feng Yin's arm, and fed a pill into his mouth.
Although she didn't understand how painful the backlash of the fallen orcs was and how to treat it, she knew that pain relief was the right thing to do, but could this curse-like backlash really be suppressed with herbs?
As the pill entered the mouth, it instantly turned into liquid and flowed into the limbs and bones, relieving a lot of the severe pain.
Feng Yin stared at Fu Ying and suddenly realized that he still underestimated her.
"Chief Feng Yin is really good at hiding." The high priest looked at this scene and laughed sinisterly.
He slowly approached Fu Ying, his bone staff dragging snakelike traces on the sand, and said darkly, "Little females that bite, but they're only pleasing to people if their teeth are pulled out."
As he spoke, the high priest was about to lift Fuying's hair with the tip of his bone staff.
"Don't touch her!"
Feng Yin roared, supporting his chest with one hand, his silver hair moving without wind.
The dark star pattern on his forehead suddenly flickered, like an evil beast from the abyss whose territory had been invaded.
The high priest's bone staff froze abruptly just inches from Fu Ying's hair. He glanced at Feng Yin in surprise, with the suspicion of someone looking at a test subject: "You've been hit by the backlash, and you can still resist?"
