Chapter 34 is another chance to prove someone wrong.

As Han Feng stepped out of the private room, a porcelain bowl flew towards him and shattered at his feet with a loud "crack," shards flying everywhere. The hall was a mess—tables and chairs were overturned, food was spilled all over the floor, and several tattooed youths were grabbing the owner by the collar and yelling.

"Old man! You're asking for it, aren't you?" A thug with dyed yellow hair slapped the boss across the face. "How long has this been dragging on? Do you think our Tiger Brother's words are just empty talk?"

The shop owner, with blood trickling from the corner of his mouth, still forced a smile: "Gentlemen, you just came to collect it a couple of days ago, it hasn't even been a week yet, why do you need to pay again? I'm really having a tough time at home lately, could you please give me a few more days..."

"Give your mother a break! Today's the due date for next month."

"But I really didn't. Please, have mercy and give me a few more days."

"No money? That's easy, just let me beat you up." The blond-haired man raised his foot to kick, but suddenly found his wrist was grabbed.

"Let's talk this out." Han Feng had appeared beside them at some point, his voice not loud but carrying an undeniable force.

Huang Mao struggled twice but failed to break free, and immediately became enraged: "Who the hell are you? Mind your own business!" He grabbed a beer bottle from the table with his other hand and smashed it over Han Feng's head.

Han Feng didn't even blink. With a gentle twist of his wrist, the blond-haired man let out a pig-like scream, and the beer bottle crashed to the ground.

"Ouch! Ouch! Let go!" The blond-haired man bent over, his face contorted in pain.

Seeing this, the other thugs immediately surrounded him: "Kid, you're asking for trouble, aren't you? Do you know who we are?"

At this moment, Su Wanwan poked her head out of the private room, her short red hair standing out in the chaos: "Wow, a fight? Count me in!" She hopped over to Han Feng's side in three steps, her eyes shining brightly.

A thug with a face full of acne scars saw Su Wanwan and his eyes lit up: "Wow, this chick's got some fire!" He reached out to touch her face, "Want to hang out with us?"

Before his hand even touched Su Wanwan, he felt a dizzying sensation – Su Wanwan executed a clean and decisive over-the-shoulder throw, slamming him heavily onto an overturned table, which snapped in two with a "crack".

"That's it?" Su Wanwan shook her hand, looking disappointed. "It's not even a warm-up."

Wang Hao and his roommates followed them out. The bespectacled man's jaw nearly dropped when he saw this: "Sister Su... is she that fierce?"

The thugs then realized they'd messed up. The blond-haired guy clutched his wrist and took a few steps back: "You...you just wait!" He pulled out his phone and started calling for backup.

The shopkeeper, his face ashen, tugged at Han Feng's sleeve: "Young man, you'd better leave quickly! They're from the 'Black Tiger Gang,' we can't afford to mess with them!"

Han Feng didn't move, but simply asked, "What management fee are they here to collect?"

"It's protection money!" The shop owner wiped the sweat from his brow. "They demand 20,000 yuan every month, or they'll smash up your shop. They've ruined all the businesses on this street..."

Su Wanwan immediately exploded upon hearing this: "What? There are still people collecting protection money these days? Han Feng, we're taking care of this!"

The boss said with a bitter face, "It's no use. We called the police, but they came back as soon as the police left. I heard that Brother Tiger has some connections in the Public Security Bureau."

"Who cares about his background? We'll take care of this for you. Even if Tiger comes today, I'll beat him into a cat!" Su Wanwan said fiercely, waving her fist.

Han Feng turned to Wang Hao and said, "Take your classmate back to school first. Leave things here to me."

Wang Hao was about to object, but seeing Han Feng's gaze, he immediately backed down: "Then...then be careful." He pulled his still-shocked roommates and hurriedly left the restaurant.

Less than ten minutes later, the screech of brakes came from outside the shop. Seven or eight motorcycles roared in, led by a black Mercedes. The door opened, and a burly man wearing a floral shirt and a thick gold chain stepped out.

"Tiger! It's them!" The blond-haired man pointed at Han Feng and Su Wanwan, looking smug.

The man known as "Tiger" strolled into the restaurant, sized up Han Feng, and sneered, "With that puny build, you managed to beat you all up like this? Useless!"

He was followed by a dozen or so thugs wielding sticks, who quickly surrounded the restaurant. The few remaining diners had long since vanished without a trace.

Tiger slung himself into a chair with an air of superiority, lit a cigarette, and said, "Kid, what gang are you from? You dare mess with my men?"

Han Feng, hands in his pockets, said calmly, "On Kyoto North Avenue."

The blond-haired guy cursed loudly, "Fuck you, talking to our Brother Tiger like that? You want to die?"

Tiger was taken aback, then burst into laughter: "You've got guts!" He suddenly stopped laughing and said in a sinister tone, "But in this territory, if you're a dragon, you have to coil up; if you're a tiger, you have to lie low! If I don't teach you a lesson today, how can my Black Tiger Gang survive?"

"If you can't make it here, then quit. Wouldn't it be better to go home and retire sooner?" Han Feng said expressionlessly.

Tiger's face turned cold: "Looks like you're determined to oppose me today?"

Han Feng didn't speak. He heard Tiger Brother say, "Go, grab that woman first."

Ding, Zero's voice rang in Han Feng's ear.

The system issued a task: Help the shop owner deal with the Black Tiger Gang.

Reward: Fighting Mastery Level +1

"Hehe, host, you suffered a loss against the gene warriors last time. Does this count as me giving you a pillow when you're sleepy?" Zero said cheekily.

Han Feng was speechless for a moment, but before he could think further, two thugs were about to step forward.

Su Wanwan was eager to try, but before she could make a move, Han Feng had already moved—no one saw how he moved, only to hear two "bangs" as the two henchmen were sent flying, one crashing into the wall and the other overturning the cash register.

Tiger's eyes widened, and he dropped his cigarette: "Damn, he's got some skills! All of you, come at me!"

A dozen or so henchmen swarmed forward. What happened next was something the owner, who was peeking through the kitchen doorway, would never forget—

Han Feng moved through the crowd like a ghost, each punch and kick hitting vital points with precision. His movements were as clean and efficient as a meticulously choreographed martial arts performance. In less than thirty seconds, the ground was filled with groaning thugs.

Su Wanwan only managed to deal with two who had slipped through the net, and stomped her feet in anger: "Han Feng! Leave me a few!"

Tiger's face turned ashen as he stealthily pulled a switchblade from his back waist. Just as he was about to launch a sneak attack, Han Feng seemed to have eyes in the back of his head, delivering a spinning kick that struck Tiger's wrist squarely. The knife clattered to the ground, followed immediately by an elbow strike to Tiger's face. Tiger's 200-pound body crashed to the ground, blood gushing from his nose.

"That's it?" Su Wanwan looked at Tiger on the ground with disdain. "A local bully? He's not even as good as a rattlesnake!"

"You wait, my cousin is the head of the Public Security Bureau's branch office," Tiger said viciously. "I'll make you kneel down and beg me. If you hurt my men, you won't get away with it."
