"But the order to support Guralburg is completely different in nature from ours. Kuhlman was willing to wait for us after seeing the letter, which obviously wasn't because he really wanted to see us fail in our mission and then file a private complaint against us, but because he himself didn't want to carry out the order to support Guralburg."
"So what does that prove?" Nyrent became more and more courageous, and was now fully in the zone.
"The Marquis of Kuhlmann was also aware of these matters. So what would he think when Kuhlmann received this letter?"
“We gave him a perfect reason, is there even a question?”
"Why should we be so kind?" Yun Zhe sat back down in his seat and stared at Nurrent.
“It was you who kindly wrote this letter!” Newton felt a little guilty under Yun Zhe’s gaze, but he still finished speaking firmly.
“Will he think we were clever enough to do something stupid?” Blake said in a low voice. He seemed to have caught something in Yun Zhe’s words, but he couldn’t quite put his finger on it.
“This isn’t stupidity, it’s a test. In his eyes, this clumsy letter is full of tests, not a single word of sincerity. He might even doubt whether the capital city is really behind this letter.”
Philby and Luke rubbed their temples; they were indeed a little dizzy from this mind-bending reasoning. Arthas and Andrew talked to each other, seemingly understanding, but not entirely. Newrent, on the other hand, was somewhat embarrassed; he didn't understand either, but he couldn't seem to find any point to attack.
Blake, however, already understood the purpose of Yun Zhe's letter.
