The facts are clear: a vampire has infiltrated this Taobao shopping team, and everyone in the team harbors their own ulterior motives. It's obvious that Yun Zhe can hear the thoughts of ordinary people, but not those of vampires. There seems to be a distance limit to this, though it's unclear how many meters that distance is.
The stone door slowly opened, and Yun Zhe ran down without a second thought. This world is too crazy; he has to survive first.
After all, I've just come back to life, and even though I'm a vampire, I don't want to die again.
Yun Zhe scrambled down the stairs, which was certainly not very elegant for a vampire. But he did manage to distance himself from the other two.
Perhaps enjoying the vampire's pathetic state, the two walked exceptionally slowly, savoring the vampire's disheveled escape, their lips curling into mocking and cruel smiles.
By the way, at this moment, Yun Zhe is actually extremely thin, like a skeleton, but he himself is unaware of it.
Yun Zhe finally reached the bottom of the stairs and looked back. The two of them were walking slowly down the stairs in the middle.
At this distance, Yun Zhe couldn't sense anyone's thoughts.
Yun Zhe ran to the iron gate, his last hope. There was no hope in the room at the end of the corridor. Now he could only hope that there was something powerful inside that could help him get through this crisis.
However, the door was locked. He couldn't open it.
A dead end.
Is this fate? Once you're dead, you're dead. Even if you time-travel, you can't escape this destiny.
"I was already dead. Even if I transmigrated, I still couldn't escape this tragic fate if I had to come back to this world." Yun Zhe leaned against the door, slowly sat down on the ground, turned his head to look in the direction of the stairs, listened to the footsteps on the stairs, and sighed resignedly.
The sound of two people teasing each other could be heard coming from the corridor.
"That vampire, the way he ran downstairs just now looked like a dog!"
"This is the worst vampire I've ever seen, bar none, hahahahahaha."
Listening to their conversation, Yun Zhe felt like dying.
"I'm such a useless vampire, damn it," Yun Zhe cursed inwardly.
“You’re not useless, you just need blood to awaken your power,” a voice appeared in Yun Zhe’s mind.
Yun Zhe was startled and stood up, leaning against the iron gate. "Who is it?" he asked tentatively.
The voice gave a frustrated snort.
"There's a small vial of blood in your clothes. Break it and put it on the iron gate! Then follow my instructions."
Yun Zhe slowly started looking for the blood vial. It wasn't that he didn't want to be fast, it's just that he really couldn't be fast.
"Quick!" The voice in my mind suddenly grew louder.
Yun Zhe was startled. In his panic, the blood vial fell to the ground and shattered.
"What have you done?!" the voice roared angrily.
"Hehehe, hehehe," Yun Zhe looked at the blood bottle that had fallen to the ground and realized that his last chance was gone, so he couldn't help but burst out laughing.
"Destroy it, hurry up, for the first time I feel that dying like this is a good thing." The voice rang out again.
The footsteps drew closer, and the laughter of the two men grew increasingly arrogant and clear. Everything returned to the way it had been just moments before.
Although Yun Zhe was disheartened, hearing the voice in his mind stirred up a surge of anger within him.
"No way!" Yun Zhe narrowed his eyes and said fiercely. Yun Zhe stared at the broken glass on the ground, then suddenly bent down, dabbed at the still-wet blood, and smeared it on the iron gate.
A gasp of cold air echoed in my mind.
The door opened in response.
"Go inside and close the door!"
The two people had already gone downstairs, and Yun Zhe saw two faces full of cruelty and smugness.
Without a second thought, Yun Zhe rushed in and closed the iron gate.
A deafening bang, a deafening bang, the loud knocking came crashing down, almost shaking the door open. But the good news was that the iron door was sturdy enough.
The curses outside the door grew louder and louder, which only made Yun Zhe feel more at ease.
Yun Zhe looked at the room that required blood to open. The room had tall shelves on three sides, filled with bottles, jars, spears, swords, and various treasures and gems from left to right.
In the middle of the three shelves was a huge circular stone platform, and on top of the platform was a huge gray box.
Beside the stone platform were some gold and silver utensils scattered on the ground.
"See that box in the middle? That's the opportunity! You do this and that later..."
Outside the door, after banging on it several times without success, the two men stopped.
"Damn it, why did you come down so slowly? If you had come a few seconds earlier, you would have caught him." Qiong Jin grumbled in dissatisfaction.
“We walked together, and you got off the step a step earlier than me, so what’s there to criticize me for?” Barbaro retorted logically and with evidence.
Qiong Jin was furious and wanted to retort, but he had no good reason. They both thought they had the upper hand and were both scheming against each other, which gave their prey time to escape.
They can't open this door unless someone inside comes out.
The people upstairs seemed to realize that things weren't going well, so instead of closing the stone door, they came down as well.
The three of them whispered among themselves and came up with a plan.
The noise outside the door soon stopped. After waiting for about half an hour, Yun Zhe quietly opened the door from the inside.
The door was ajar, but no one came in, and no one came out.
