Yun Zhe pulled up his hood. He saw a small carriage parked at the door, and two soldiers were carrying a wooden box onto the carriage and getting off. Yun Zhe recognized the horse pulling the carriage as the one he had bought for a gold coin and couldn't help but smile.
Yun Zhe bowed to the butler and Wood in farewell, then leaped onto the carriage. The carriage had a sunshade that blocked out the sunlight.
Then Yun Zhe paused for a moment, realizing a problem: he didn't know how to drive a carriage...
Yun Zhe swallowed hard, gave the reins a jerk, and the carriage slowly started moving. Carefully controlling the direction, Yun Zhe walked towards the gate, his heart pounding with anxiety.
Along the way, you can see smoke rising from the outer castles, and there are few pedestrians on the streets. A quiet and peaceful atmosphere envelops the street, making it hard to believe that a brutal and bloody war had taken place here just last night.
Is this what life is like in this world?
Yun Zhe found it hard to imagine whether this kind of society shaped their lives or whether this kind of life shaped this society.
Yun Zhe shook his head, trying to ignore these difficult questions.
On a small terrace atop the castle, a pretty figure watched the little carriage slowly leave the castle gate. Then, with a whoosh, she jumped down and followed the carriage.
As Yun Zhe traveled until midnight, the horse slowly came to a stop. Yun Zhe jumped off the carriage, stroked the horse's back, and felt its exhaustion. He sighed with heartache.
Yun Zhe led the horse to the edge of the woods, found a place with dense grass, tied the horse up, and conserved its energy.
He went around to the back of the carriage, intending to lie down and rest. However, he found that the carriage was already full of benches and boxes, with no place to lie down at all.
Yun Zhe was slightly unhappy. He looked up and saw that the roof of the carriage was quite spacious. He jumped onto the roof and lay down comfortably.
However, Yun Zhe did not rest for long before he was awakened by the woman's cries for help and the man's whistling.
Yun Zhe looked in the direction of the sound and saw firelight flickering in the woods, figures moving about, and a woman's shrill cries for help.
As someone who had lived through modern society, Yun Zhe had always despised such acts of forcibly abducting women. He jumped off the carriage, stretched, and rushed towards the firelight.
A woman dressed in thin clothes staggered through the woods. Her hair was disheveled, and her white clothes were torn, revealing glimpses of her skin as she ran, which excited the men chasing after her.
The woman fell to the ground, rolled several times, and leaned against a tree. She was panting, one hand covering her collar, the other groping under the tree, finally finding a small twig, which she held horizontally in front of her chest.
"I am Alice, the eldest daughter of Viscount Pas! How dare you lay a hand on Viscount Pas's daughter?! Don't you have any regard for your lives?!"
The woman was panting heavily, her voice sharp but her expression weak.
The four men, panting heavily, slowly stopped. They were unemployed vagrants from a nearby village, whose daily lives consisted of petty theft, bullying villagers, drinking, and womanizing. In fact, their physical condition was extremely poor.
The thinnest of the four men chuckled and mocked, "You're the Viscount's daughter, and I'm the Viscount's son, hahahahahaha."
The fat man at the head of the group hesitated, "You don't think he could really be a nobleman, do you?"
"Pah, what noble lady dresses like that? I bet she's a virgin who just escaped from some brothel. Hehe, we're in luck tonight." The skinny man spat on the ground, rubbed his hands like a fly, and walked over to the fat man with a lewd grin.
Hearing the thin man's words, the fat man lowered his guard and approached Alice with a lewd grin.
The remaining two were even more impatient and had already reached Alice's side.
"Tsk tsk, those thighs!"
"Tsk tsk, those breasts!"
The four men were completely focused on the woman in front of them and had no idea that Yun Zhe was slowly approaching from behind.
"You guys quickly grab her hands, hahaha," Skinny Monkey grinned lewdly, began to unbuckle his belt, and then let go, his pants fell to the ground.
The other three had completely pinned down the struggling Alice and began groping her body. Alice's mouth was covered, and she let out desperate whimpers.
The desperate wailing suddenly turned into a terrified wailing.
The three waited impatiently and looked at the skinny monkey, only to see that the monkey's hands were hanging down, and it was completely still in the shadows of the forest.
"Damn it, what's going on? If you won't come, I will." One of the tall, thin men couldn't hold back any longer, suddenly jumped up, and started taking off his pants.
Halfway through the dragging, the skinny monkey suddenly fell to the ground, crashing down right in front of the three of them.
All three were startled; their boiling lust instantly subsided, and they began to look around warily.
Yun Zhe leisurely emerged from the shadows, looking at the three people in front of him with the mindset of a cat hunting a mouse.
The tall, thin man suddenly retreated, but tripped over his own pants and fell to the ground, convulsing. He frantically tried to get up but fell down again, then got up and fell down again.
Yun Zhe stared coldly at him, then his gaze swept over the remaining two.
The two men were still holding Alice down, not because they were lustful, but because they genuinely hadn't realized what was happening.
Alice stared at the man before her in horror. She was terrified; it was an instinct. A woman's intuition told her that this man was more dangerous than the three men beside her.
Yun Zhe knew that the people in front of him were no match for him, but the tricky part was how to prevent this woman from seeing all of this.
Yun Zhe's lips curled into a wicked smile, and he uttered a single word, "Get lost."
The three of them ran away in a panic.
Yun Zhe moved closer to Alice, who covered her collar with both hands, her mind filled with even greater terror and despair than before.
"I am……"
"You are the Viscount's eldest daughter, and your name is Alice." Yun Zhe crouched down and gently patted her face. "Didn't you just say you were completely useless?"
Large tears welled up in the girl's eyes; she was in despair, and it seemed she couldn't escape her fate tonight.
Yun Zhe looked up at the route the group had taken to escape, and snorted coldly. Then he knocked the girl unconscious with a single blow and ran out.
In a flash, he dealt with the three men and rushed back.
But there was another woman under the tree, a woman Yun Zhe knew, Ellie.
