Upon hearing this, Ellie blushed and jumped away, glancing around before hurriedly running over to pick up the crossbow bolts.
"Stop picking them up, Ellie. I'll go to town to buy a car when it's light, and then we'll leave."
Ellie, still blushing, softly hummed in agreement.
The two walked through the forest and reached the city wall, where they found a spot with soft, lush grass to lie down. Yun Zhe felt somewhat relieved and relaxed, while Ellie's mind was in turmoil, and she became slightly agitated.
"What do you need a carriage for?" Ellie asked.
"I bought a lot of elf goods, it's not appropriate to just take them out directly, it's better to take them back by carriage."
"Elf goods? When did you buy them?" Ellie asked, puzzled.
"The night they saved you, do you think those elven merchants would just happen to be there by chance? They were all paid to be there."
"You really came to save me? I don't believe it at all," Ellie turned to look at Yun Zhe, her eyes filled with tenderness.

Before Yun Zhe could finish speaking, his mouth was covered by Ellie's. Yun Zhe's mind went completely blank.
"Ah!" Ellie suddenly let out a scream.
Yun Zhe was startled and hurriedly sat up to look around. Finding nothing amiss, he couldn't help but look at Ellie.
Ellie's hand was covered in black and red marks, clearly burned by something.
Ellie looked at Yun Zhe, her eyes flashing with a variety of expressions, including surprise, doubt, anger, curiosity, and admiration, which was quite a sight.
Yun Zhe awkwardly rubbed his forehead. He knew what had hurt Ellie—his mithril armor.
“I…you…” Yun Zhe was dumbfounded, completely at a loss for how to handle the situation.
"You're still wearing mithril armor?!"
Yun Zhe nodded vigorously, almost unconsciously.
Ellie straightened her hair, feeling both amused and exasperated.
Yun Zhe took Ellie's hand; her wound had mostly healed. Yun Zhe wanted to check on her, but realized he had missed the opportunity.
"Are you... hungry? I have some... um, elf specialty cookies." Yun Zhe said, then wanted to slap himself.
"You hurt me, and you think you can just give me a few cookies?" Ellie teased, looking at Yun Zhe's embarrassed state.
Yun Zhe scratched his head, then suddenly squatted down and kissed Ellie's lips.
"You?!" Ellie's cheeks flushed crimson as she murmured, head bowed, "You...you took off your mithril armor."
"Huh? Oh!"
