Usa, who was rescued in 103

The prolonged silence in the woods finally made the people in the stables restless, especially Ellie.

Ellie took a step forward, only to be stopped by Gao.

"Let's go together," Gao's tone left no room for argument.

Ellie frankly admitted that she found the suggestion difficult to accept; clearly, no matter how you looked at it, they seemed more like a burden.

However, refusing is clearly inappropriate.

Everyone rushed out of the stable, and behind them, Usha struggled to keep up. She was still sleepy-eyed, but she tried her best to keep up with the adults.

When everyone arrived at the edge of the woods, Yun Zhe staggered out alone. His steps were a little unsteady, but he looked unharmed, just a little disheveled.

"What's wrong? Yunzhe, are you hurt?" Ellie was the first to run over to him.

Yun Zhe shook his head, looking at everyone somewhat embarrassed, "I lost them, they ran a bit too fast..."

The soldiers breathed a sigh of relief; they had only lost track of them, thank goodness.

"They won't come back, will they?" This was the question on everyone's mind at that moment.

Yun Zhe shrugged helplessly. "It's hard to say. At least for now, it shouldn't happen. After all, they seemed to have escaped in a pretty pathetic way, hahaha." Yun Zhe said with a wry smile.

The soldiers breathed a sigh of relief.

Only Ellie felt that something was wrong, because Yun Zhe seemed to be acting a bit deliberately.

Of course, this is just a little intuition from a woman's perspective and may not be accurate, but judging from what Yun Zhe said, it seems that this matter has had a good outcome.

"Everyone, go back now. Of course, those on duty still need to stay on duty."

Back at the stable, Yunzhe went to the carriage to visit Wusha, and then froze on the spot.

Ellie noticed something was wrong. She quickly ran to Yun Zhe's side, looked at Yun Zhe, looked at the carriage, and then froze on the spot.

Usa was not sleeping as they thought; she had completely disappeared.

Yun Zhe sighed deeply, his heart filled with self-reproach and disappointment. He had indeed neglected this girl too much. He felt a deep-seated disgust for his irresponsibility.

He glanced at Ellie, who was trembling slightly with inexplicable fear. Ellie was also looking at him cautiously.

"Stop looking, hurry up and go find her," Yun Zhe said, his voice filled with self-reproach and exhaustion. He turned and asked loudly, "Have you seen Usa tonight?"

"Isn't Usha sleeping?" Lorraine sat up from the haystack. He had just lain down again when he heard Yun Zhe's voice.

"Damn it, when was the last time you saw that little girl?" Yun Zhe frowned.

“Usa was right next to me when you closed the door,” Ellie added. “It’s highly likely that Usa came with us when we rushed out…”

Yun Zhe glanced sideways at Ellie, "You come with me to look for them. The rest of you, continue your night watch according to your shifts! No one is allowed to leave the stables without permission!"

Everyone was once again taken aback by Yun Zhe's order. Yun Zhe was so considerate of his subordinates!

Yun Zhe waved his hand, signaling everyone to go about their business, and then pulled Ellie out of the stable.

Outside, Yun Zhe discovered footprints left by Wu Sha's little leather boots. It was clear that she had followed the main group alone.

Yun Zhe followed the footprints, then suddenly said angrily, "Are you all so oblivious? Can't you even notice a child??"

Ellie didn't dare to answer. She turned to look at the stable, where many people were also peeking at them.

Yun Zhe continued walking, then stopped.

The footprints disappeared near the edge of the woods. Yun Zhe looked around but saw no more footprints.

Yun Zhe paced back and forth where the footprints disappeared, sighing and touching his head repeatedly, appearing unusually impatient and angry.

In Yun Zhe's world, there's a 72-hour rule, which states that missing persons are safe for 72 hours. But in this world teeming with monsters and ruthless individuals, 72 hours is far too optimistic.

“Yun Zhe, come and look, there are black strips of cloth here…” Ellie found black strips of cloth wrapped around a bush, obviously torn from clothes.

"Ah!" Ellie exclaimed immediately, picking up a short sword, the very one Yun Zhe had given to Usa.

Yun Zhe rushed to Ellie's side. He picked up a short sword, but didn't draw it; in fact, it was unsheathed. Clearly, Usa was still conscious after being controlled, and she had deliberately left some marks.

Yun Zhe felt a little relieved. But this alone was not enough to rescue Wu Sha.

A tiger's roar came from afar.

Yun Zhe's heart skipped a beat, as if he had thought of something.

He looked towards the stable, which was brightly lit, but even with Yun Zhe's eyesight, he couldn't make out the faces of the people inside. So he suddenly took a step and ran towards the direction of the tiger's roar.

Ellie hesitated for a moment, then quickly followed.

"A tiger?" Ellie was a little worried; she thought a tiger had taken Usa away.

“It’s an elf,” Yun Zhe said, his tone far from relaxed. He abruptly stopped, then resumed running at a human pace.

"Elves? White Tiger Knights?" Ellie suddenly realized. "But they are all peace-loving, so why would they kidnap Usa?"

The tiger roared again, this time louder and clearer.

Yun Zhe's breathing quickened as he saw a huge white shadow flash by and disappear in front of him.

Then came another tiger roar.

Yun Zhe quickened his pace, but Ellie grabbed his arm.

Yun Zhe was taken aback, then he drew his crossbow and fired an arrow.

It was all intuition, without any judgment.
