Yun Zhe from 105 was very angry.

In just one day, the dilapidated house was basically able to provide shelter from the wind and rain. This speed made Yun Zhe feel a pang of envy. He thought, if Hamelin, a middle-aged woman, could achieve this so quickly, wouldn't the soldiers' construction speed double if her elven daughter were to appear?

Yun Zhe pursed his lips, wanting to politely decline Hamelin's invitation to dinner. Because the house construction was progressing quickly, Hamelin had taken out a lot of food from the carriage and was treating the soldiers who had helped that day to their meals in his courtyard. Of course, Yun Zhe, as the superior officer, was also invited, even though he hadn't contributed much. Yun Zhe agreed anyway, since it didn't conflict with the plan. They had essentially formed an alliance. Although Yun Zhe was the culprit behind Hamelin's complete collapse, given Yun Zhe's greater experience and the resulting overwhelming strength, Hamelin overlooked this factor and accepted Yun Zhe's request for cooperation. And tonight, he had proactively invited Yun Zhe.

Yun Zhe sought cooperation with Hamelin because he learned that the bandits who raided the village the day before yesterday were not Hamelin's doing. Adhering to the principle of caution, and since there were still enemies yet to appear, it was necessary to unite with all possible forces. Adding a friend meant removing an enemy. Coincidentally, Hamelin also had this need.

At what could only be described as a crude banquet, the soldiers wolfed down their food and drank voraciously. Akdina's appearance further fueled their enthusiasm, making them feel that their help had been absolutely worthwhile. Many had already begun fantasizing about a romantic love story with Akdina, completely unaware that they were surrounded by four vampires.

As the soldiers' fantasies grew increasingly outrageous, Yun Zhe's brows furrowed even more. He was finally witnessing the open-mindedness of this world. Hamelin, noticing Yun Zhe's furrowed brow, assumed the banquet had been inadequate and he felt slighted. So he leaned closer and whispered to Yun Zhe, "Lord Yun Zhe, this banquet was truly outrageous, please forgive me. However, after the banquet, if you feel lonely sleeping alone tonight, I can arrange for Akdina to keep you company."

Yun Zhe took about two seconds to process the meaning of those words. Then he had to honestly refuse Hamelin, "I'm unhappy tonight because my soldiers have such vivid imaginations. I really enjoyed the dinner, and I'm not one for extravagance. You've come all this way, and it's already quite an achievement that you've managed to put on such a show. As for Akdina, she's beautiful, but I prefer to sleep with my soldiers."

Hamelin took a long time to process Yun Zhe's words. She looked at the soldiers drinking heartily; clearly, she knew what they were thinking, but it meant nothing to her. She had seen far more vulgar and unscrupulous thoughts. Compared to those, these soldiers' ideas were merely ordinary. But Yun Zhe, these words gave her the feeling that he was no longer a vampire. He seemed more like a commander with his own ideas…

Hamelin couldn't fathom Yun Zhe's true thoughts, which was indeed somewhat frustrating for her. However, their relationship was actually one of cooperation, and Yun Zhe's behavior unexpectedly gave her a sense of reassurance.

However, a vampire who is not lustful and cannot see through things is ultimately no match for a vampire who can see through things.

"It's getting late, you should all get some rest." Yun Zhe glanced at Hamelin, who seemed lost in thought, and nodded.

After the banquet ended, watching Yun Zhe and his entourage leave, Debini leaned over and asked, "Mother, did he refuse?"

Hamelin looked into the distance and nodded.

"This is troublesome. Do you think he might prefer money?"

Hamelin had a sudden thought, but then a strange idea popped into his head: "He probably wouldn't care about money anyway."

Hamelin turned around and saw Akdina standing in the doorway, dressed in a simple, snow-white lace nightgown, as thin as gauze, almost revealing her skin. She stood straight in the slightly chilly night breeze, her face expressionless.

Hamelin waved her hand, signaling her to go back inside. Then she glanced at Debenny, who was swallowing hard, and suddenly felt that testing him with money was too risky; there would be plenty of time to get to know this partner later.

The road back to the stables wasn't far, but as they approached the stables, the returning group fell completely silent.

Yun Zhe was in a bad mood tonight. Although these soldiers, who came from thug backgrounds, were obsessed with women, they still had basic sense of propriety.

However, they didn't know what was troubling their leader.

A bearded soldier, who turned out to be the bouncer at the brothel, leaned close to Yun Zhe and whispered in a sly voice, "Boss, what's bothering you? What kind of trouble can't be solved by a woman? I've inquired..."

Yun Zhe stopped the soldier from speaking with a single glance.

"Look at the state you've become! A whole bunch of you marching around like that, have you forgotten the rules of two in a row and three in a line? Look at the way you're all, you don't look like soldiers at all!"

"What did you find out?" Yun Zhe asked the soldier.

"No, it's nothing," the soldier said, realizing he had made a fool of himself by flattering others. He was terrified and desperately wanted to disappear into the ground under the venomous gazes of the crowd.

However, Yun Zhe already knew everything. It turned out that although the village was dilapidated, a few women had stayed behind and were engaged in an ancient profession.

Yun Zhe snorted, "Line up! Forward march!"

So the soldiers who were resting during the day after their shifts the night before saw an unbelievable sight in the stable. The soldiers, who were so drunk they could barely tell which way was which, returned to the stable in two lines, their steps faltering but still somewhat orderly.

Gao and Lorraine exchanged bewildered glances, their eyes filled with questions at the soldiers' continued discipline even while drunk.

Then they saw Yun Zhe, whose expression was not friendly.

The answer seems obvious.

Gao looked at the soldiers in front of him with a complicated expression. Even after entering the stable, they still tried their best to stand in neat rows and dared not disperse. He wondered which clueless little cutie had offended Lord Yun Zhe.

Lorraine was more direct, asking, "What happened, Yun Zhe?"

Yun Zhe looked at the two rows of soldiers struggling to hold on and sneered, "Dismissed! Get some rest tonight, we have a big project to do tomorrow!"

Then Yun Zhe looked at the soldiers watching the show around him and said, "You all rest too, and we'll work together tomorrow!"

The stable erupted in chaos. Everyone looked at Yun Zhe with a mixture of confusion and dissatisfaction. "What on earth is he up to? Who the hell offended Yun Zhe tonight and caused us all such trouble?" These were the questions on everyone's minds.

"Tomorrow, build a big house using the stable as its framework! To the soldiers who were very active today," Yun Zhe scanned their faces one by one, "don't let them down tomorrow." With that, Yun Zhe revealed his white teeth and clenched his fist threateningly.

At this point, even the most oblivious person would understand why Yun Zhe was unhappy.
