Heyue lifted the carriage curtain and glimpsed Thirteen dressed in a white Manchu military uniform, riding a black horse. He looked majestic and handsome, with a gentle smile. If he were riding a white horse, he would truly be a prince on a white horse.
"Why are you here?" He Yue exclaimed in surprise as she snapped out of her daze.
"Seeing you get off Consort De's carriage, I wanted to see if you had been wronged." Thirteen smiled, showing no remorse for having spoken ill of Consort De.
He Yue's smile deepened as she retorted, "You underestimate me. Who would ever wrong me?!"
Thirteen shook his head: "Master, you get confused when you care."
These words brought a sweet feeling to my heart.
Then Thirteen's smile faded slightly, and he leaned closer to whisper in her ear.
"I saw that you and your sister-in-law were getting along well, and I shouldn't have said anything. But people's words can be a real problem. My brother and I are not on the same side, and your sister-in-law is even more unfathomable. It would be best if you had less contact with her."
He Yue raised her eyebrows and looked him over carefully.
