Chapter 53 Unexplained Coldness

To everyone's surprise, the Fourth Prince's face showed some displeasure, and his tone turned cold: "Next time, don't invite those unimportant people into the manor."

Leaving his wife stunned and bewildered, the Fourth Prince stepped out of the room.

"Fujin, what's wrong with the Prince? Doesn't the Prince favor the Seventh Princess?" Ziyu asked, bewildered.

Fourth Princess Consort smiled bitterly: "What do you know? Who is the master? She's just a princess from a vice minister's household. How could she possibly be valued by the master? It's just a pity that the girl is quite likable."

With a sigh, he realized that now that the person had been invited, it was not appropriate to turn them away. He could only instruct Ziyu to invite them in.

Heyue stood at the door and saw the Fourth Prince come out of the house. After her initial surprise, she smiled and was about to greet him, but the Fourth Prince seemed not to see her and walked straight out.

The Fourth Prince's wife, on the contrary, said that she was being too polite, and said with a slight reproach, "I treat you like my own daughter, but you treat me like a stranger."

This made Heyue quite embarrassed, so she had the two maids put it away.

"Then Heyue thanks Fourth Princess Consort very much." Heyue thanked her gracefully.

After hesitating for a moment, Heyue finally couldn't help but ask, "Just now, I met the Fourth Prince, and he seemed a little unhappy."
