Chapter 307 Third Brother, What Did You Do?

Chapter 307 Third Brother, What Did You Do?

As Lu Chixu finished speaking, the teahouse fell into silence.

All four of them thought it made sense.

Ji Linshen, who was identified as the culprit, had already arrived at the door of the room.

The wall lamp in the corridor stretched his shadow on the ground, and as he pushed the door open, it cut diagonally into the dark room.

His fingertips brushed against the wall switch, turning on the ceiling light. He glanced around the room but didn't see Lu Shiman.

I plan to go to the bedroom to see if anyone is there.

As he took two steps towards the bedroom, his peripheral vision suddenly caught a wisp of black hair leaking out from the edge of the cashmere blanket.

He turned around and walked towards the sofa.

The raised arc under the cashmere blanket rises and falls slightly with the breathing rate.

Ji Lin's Adam's apple rolled, and the fingers on his side curled up unconsciously.

I leaned over and lifted the cashmere blanket, and saw her lying on her side on the sofa, her left hand unconsciously grasping the edge of the sofa cushion.

Her knees were curled up almost touching her chest, her eyelashes cast intermittent shadows under her eyes, and even her brows were wrinkled in her sleep.

Lu Shiman's appearance caught his eye. The veins on the back of Ji Linshen's hands, which were supporting the sofa, bulged, and his chest ached as if pierced by an ice pick.

His fingertips hanging in the air trembled slightly, and finally he dared only use the knuckle of his index finger to gently touch the wrinkle between her eyebrows.

Lu Shiman's eyelashes trembled at the warm touch, but she did not move.

Noticing her subtle change, he suddenly withdrew his hand, which had been frozen in mid-air, and his neatly trimmed nails dug deeper into his palm.

His eyes swept over the regular rise and fall of her chest, and he was very familiar with the deliberately slowed breathing rhythm.

He was already familiar with her breathing rate when she was asleep, and he was certain that she was not asleep.

Ji Linshen's jawline tightened and relaxed, and finally he just lowered his eyes and took a half step back, not choosing to wake her up who was pretending to sleep.

Cover her with the cashmere blanket again.

The carpet at the end of the sofa was dented, and when he sat down with his knees bent, his suit pants stretched the tight lines of his legs.

The back of his head rested against the edge of the sofa, and his Adam's apple slid slowly in the shadow.

Her right hand, resting on her knee, tapped her kneecap unconsciously, while her left hand was always hanging on the edge of the sofa, only half a palm away from her drooping hair.

There was no other sound in the room except the breathing of the two people.

Lu Shiman heard the rustling sound of clothes rubbing against the carpet, and the shadow under her eyelashes trembled.

Ji Linshen turned his head to look at her, still remaining silent.

Her right hand moved slowly under the blanket, her little finger first touching the raised joints on the back of his hand, and the tremor of blood pulsating under the warm skin spread along her fingertips.

Five fingers suddenly opened and clasped his wrist, the metal edge of the watch pressing into the skin of his palm.

Ji Linshen's shoulder blades straightened instantly.

He lowered his eyes and stared at their folded hands, his thumb unconsciously stroking the skin on the back of her hand. Only when their palms touched did he notice the cold sweat on her fingertips.

Lu Shiman pinched his palm with his index finger and then quickly released it.

He bent his knuckles and gripped her lightly, the tip of his thumb just pressing against her beating pulse.

Lu Shiman's knees suddenly retracted inward, and his heels pressed against the back of the sofa.

The palms of their clasped hands gradually felt sticky and damp, and the raised curve of Ji Linshen's wrist bone poked her palm.

Two staggered breaths amplified in the quiet room. Lu Shiman's thumb suddenly rubbed the skin on his wrist, paused for a moment, and then curled up and retreated to its original position.

Ji Lin rested his neck against the edge of the sofa, his Adam's apple rolling and his lips tightly pursed, his breathing a little heavy.

In the end, he just tightened his clasped hands a little more, and his fingers were tightly intertwined with hers.

The two of them just held hands, no one spoke, no one moved.

Lu Shiman felt the warmth coming from his palm, and her stiff knuckles were melted inch by inch by his body temperature.

After a long time, there was a knock on the door.

Lu Jianheng's voice came from the door: "Want to have a midnight snack? Second brother roasted the chicken himself."

Hearing the voice of the third brother, Lu Shiman suddenly pressed his knees against his chest, let go of Ji Linshen's hand, and hugged his knees.

Ji Linshen's hands felt empty, and his heart felt a little empty as well.

She shrank back into the corner of the sofa, her hair hanging down to cover half of her face, and her lower lip was bitten with white teeth marks.

Lu Shiman's expression of resistance and hurt met Ji Lin's deep eyes, and his heart suddenly stopped.

Is she resisting Lu Jianheng?

The heartache in his eyes was replaced by a sinister look. He stood up, walked to the door, and opened it.

Lu Jianheng was startled by the sudden opening of the door and took a half step back. When he met his gloomy eyes, his heart tightened and he subconsciously took two steps back.

"Where's Manman?" Lu Jianheng leaned over and peeked inside, but didn't see Lu Shiman.

"She doesn't want to eat." Ji Linshen's voice was cold, his eyes fixed on Lu Jianheng.

Lu Jianheng felt a chill down his spine and felt completely baffled by the look on his face.

"You...what are you staring at me for?" He took another half step back. He said Ji Linshen was a pervert, and now his true colors were revealed.

Ji Linshen looked back at Lu Shiman. When he closed the door with his backhand, he used his thumb to pad the lock tongue to ensure that the closing sound was as light as a feather falling to the ground.

"What's wrong? Did you have a fight?" Lu Jianheng took half a step forward and stepped on Ji Linshen's shadow, his nostrils twitching slightly due to suppressed anger.

Ji Linshen didn't say anything.

Seeing him silent, Lu Jianheng's face instantly darkened, and his voice lost its lazy tone, becoming somewhat intimidating: "You dare to quarrel with her?"

"Third brother, what did you do?" Ji Linshen lowered his voice deliberately.

Lu Jianheng was stunned by the question. What did he do?

Was he the one who started the quarrel?

Could it be that the two of them were arguing about finding a male model? If so, then she can take half the blame.

"The reason I took her to find a male model was..." Lu Jianheng was halfway through explaining when he was forcibly interrupted by Ji Linshen.

"She's having a seizure."

Lu Jianheng's voice suddenly stopped: "How...how could this happen? What did you do?"

"That's exactly what I asked Third Brother." Ji Linshen took two steps forward to close the distance between him and Lu Jianheng: "Third Brother, what did you do?"

"What can I do?" Lu Jianheng's voice was filled with anger.

"That's my question."

"I'll go in and take a look myself." He reached out and pushed Ji Linshen aside, then took the door handle and turned it lightly.

Ji Linshen stepped forward, stretched out his hand to support the door frame, and stopped him: "She doesn't want to see you now, Third Brother, think about what you have done."

Lu Jianheng moved his lips and tilted his head to look at him: "Get out of the way."

"Third brother, she doesn't want to see you now." Ji Lin said word by word.

The two were in a stalemate.

The elevator door opened, Lu Yannan stepped out, and glanced casually, seeing the two people who were on the verge of a fight.

"What's the fuss?" He stopped in front of the two of them and asked in a deep voice.

"She's having a seizure." Ji Linshen repeated, "It should be the third brother."

"Don't put all the blame on me." Lu Jianheng really felt wronged. He didn't do anything. "I still suspected it was you."

Lu Yannan's brows were stained with worry and anxiety. He separated the two of them and said, "Okay, both of you go down. I'll go in and take a look."

"Go down, leave this to me." Lu Yannan's tone was gentle, but his attitude did not allow for questioning.

After he finished speaking, he gently opened the door of Lu Shiman's room.
