Inside Gu Jingchun's carriage.
He looked at Ye Wenxi's face and body, applying medicine to him while muttering to himself.
"What kind of person could do such a dirty trick, beating you up like this out of nowhere?"
Ye Wenxi shook her head.
"I don't know either. I consider myself to have a pretty good temper, and I haven't made any enemies lately. I really can't imagine who would hit me like this."
Upon hearing this, Gu Jingchun suddenly recalled what Shen Hechuan had just said.

How could Shen Hechuan be such a naive person as to do something like hitting someone?
