Ye Wenxi: "What if he hadn't done that?"
Gu Jingchun's smile deepened, making her as charming as a flower, but her words were utterly devoid of any sentimentality.

As soon as Gu Jingchun stepped off the carriage, he saw Shen Hechuan rushing over with a frown on his face.

"Have you seen Ye Wenxi?"
Gu Jingchun blinked at Shen Hechuan, a hint of scrutiny creeping into his eyes.
"You're looking for him?"
Shen Hechuan nodded and said casually.
"Um."
"It's nothing. I just wanted to see if he had any talent or skills. I have a few questions I wanted to ask him."
"Since we can't find the other person, then let's just forget about it."
Upon hearing this, Gu Jingchun quickly stopped him.
"Don't go! I know where he is!"
She pointed to the carriageway and said, "The person is inside."
"He doesn't know who he offended, but he was put in a sack and beaten up. Now his face is covered in bruises, and he looks very pitiful."

Shen Hechuan's anger flared up again: "Why did you apply medicine to him? You two, a man and a woman, were alone in a carriage. Weren't you afraid of what others would say?"
Gu Jingchun was completely innocent.

Shen Hechuan: "Are you sure your relationship is completely innocent?"

Shen Hechuan was furious.

He looked at Gu Jingchun, his voice momentarily halting.
"What... are you doing? I'm asking you a question."
Gu Jingchun nodded.
A smile played on his lips as he lowered his head slightly, but his eyes were slightly raised, their misty gaze fixed on him, almost melting his heart.
Why...why are you looking at me like that?
Gu Jingchun continued to laugh: "Of course it's because you're good-looking!"
"In my heart, you are the most beautiful, no one can compare to you."
She smiled, looked up, and took a step forward, reaching out to wrap her arms around his neck.
Then, she stood on tiptoe and whispered an explanation in his ear.
“I wasn’t worried about his reputation just now.”
