Chapter 402: A New Lie
"An Yan, I think I should stay." Mei Die expressed her thoughts to An Yan directly.
"Have you thought it through?" An Yan asked her.
Meidie nodded and said, "Think it over carefully, help him, and then go back to West City."
"I'm worried that you, a girl, will suffer."
"Oh, I'm not afraid of being at a disadvantage. I have always been bold, and all my subordinates are men. There are so many rumors about me." Mei Die didn't agree. What's more, she was a tough woman who snatched Li Rongsen in broad daylight.
An Yan gestured for Mei Die to sit down next to her and said, "You are just pretending to be indifferent, but deep down you long for someone who understands you."
"Who doesn't want it? Everyone thinks so." Mei Die curled her lips. Of course she longed for it, especially after knowing what happened between Li Rongsen and An Yan, she wanted to find a responsible man even more, even if it would hurt.
An Yan said: "Since you have made up your mind, I will naturally choose to support you."
"An Yan, although I want to conquer a man on the surface, I actually want to find a man who can conquer himself, but you seem to be the opposite." Mei Die told her the truth.
"I don't have the concept of conquering and being conquered, I only have the concept of whether or not to be together." An Yan also expressed her thoughts.
"Did you fall in love with Li Rongsen at first sight? Have you ever fallen in love at first sight? Do you know what that feeling is?" Mei Die asked a lot of questions in one breath.
An Yan smiled and said, "I don't know what love at first sight is."

Yan Qingqiu was trying to cover up the lie with Li Rongsen, and said to him seriously, "Since I don't want to lose An Yan, I also don't want to lose you. Let's just be good friends."
"Is this okay?" Li Rongsen frowned. He felt that it was not possible. In any case, he needed to keep a distance from his friend's woman.
"My current plan is this." Yan Qingqiu looked like he was about to tell him something confidential, but he added, "I've decided to change my pursuit plan. Yan Qingqiu said, "Be more generous and treat An Yan however you want. Let her feel that we are both just friends with her."
"Then I secretly cooperated with you in pursuing An Yan." Li Rongsen asked.
Yan Qingqiu was stunned at first, then said, "From now on, you have to do everything first, whether it's watching movies, eating, shopping, or buying things. You have to do it all. Do you understand?"

Yan Qingqiu's face darkened, but he tried his best to suppress the urge to hit Li Rongsen. He said, "You can go and help An Yan draw up the gift list. I'm going to take a nap first."
"Aren't you going to help?" Li Rongsen asked.
"It's not my turn to help yet. I have to run errands later. I will definitely be the one to go back to West City to report the news." Yan Qingqiu said as he walked into the inner room and lay down on the couch.
Li Rongsen didn't say anything, he just got up and went to An Yan's room.
Meidie got up quickly when she saw him coming and said, "Hey, I'm so tired and sleepy. I'm going to sleep for a while."
Li Rongsen was a little at a loss. He felt that he should avoid suspicion, but when he thought about what Yan Qingqiu meant just now, he felt that there was no need to deliberately avoid anything. He had a clear conscience.
He didn't know what was wrong with him. He always felt like a thief and had lost his original indifference.
An Yan came over to him with a pen and paper and said, "Please sit down. Meidie just made a pot of good tea." Then she poured a cup for Li Rongsen and placed it in front of him.
"Thank you." Li Rongsen said calmly.
An Yan handed him the paper and pen again and said, "Come, write what you know."
Li Rongsen took the pen and his fingertips accidentally touched An Yan's fingers. He immediately let go of his hand and saw the brush fall on the paper, staining a large area black. He hurriedly took something to wipe it off, but ended up knocking over the cups and spilling water all over the table.
An Yan chuckled and said, "Go wash your hands. I'll clean up here."
Li Rongsen had noticed that his heartbeat was accelerating. He turned his head to look at An Yan. She was tidying up the things on the table in an orderly manner. He also saw that there was a piece of cloth for healing the wound on her finger.
An Yan took out another piece of paper and placed it on the table. She looked up and saw Li Rongsen still standing there, so she said, "Why don't you go wash your hands?"
"Let's go now." Li Rongsen hurriedly washed his hands, then walked over and sat down. The first thing he said was, "Order a batch of fireworks from the North Courtyard."
"That's a good idea. I thought so too." An Yan nodded.
"There are nearly ten treasure houses in Xicheng, four large ones, and six small ones. Give them gifts according to their needs." Li Rongsen started writing as he spoke, and after finishing one, he handed it to An Yan to read.
An Yan picked it up and looked at it carefully, saying, "You are really good. You remember everything clearly."
"These are small things. You see what fits."
"You have to bring clothes and other things, as well as some small gadgets. We can't take them outside, otherwise you can bring some balloons or something to add to the atmosphere." An Yan said.
"No wonder Yan Qingqiu just said that he would definitely have to run errands."
When An Yan heard this, she looked towards Li Rongsen and smiled. This was exactly what she meant.
