Li Rongsen, however, took the rice in front of him aside and said to Yan Qingqiu, "You eat my bowl, I haven't eaten it yet."
"It's okay. I won't be eating rice. I'll be eating vegetables." Yan Qingqiu said as he swaggered over. He poured himself a bowl of soup and drank it, praising it, "It's so delicious. It really is delicious. What is it made of?"
"Meidi, why don't you come in and eat?" An Yan shouted towards the door.
Meidie then walked in and said, "I also thought that people don't eat so early."
"The gift list has been drawn up. Let's go after dinner." An Yan said to Yan Qingqiu.
"Actually, I can go too." Li Rongsen interrupted.

As soon as he finished speaking, a servant came in from outside and said, "Our young master would like to invite Mr. Li to come over and have a drink together. Is that possible?"

An Yan stood up and followed him out with big strides.
Mei Die also stood up, but was pushed down by Yan Qingqiu, who said, "You don't have to go. Just let An Yan follow you."
"Aren't you afraid that An Yan will be in danger?"
"How could she be in danger? The young master wouldn't dare do anything to her, and he's clearly quite respectful to her," Yan Qingqiu said, adding, "You should be more careful. You won't be eaten if you stay here alone."
