Chapter 519 Mysterious Man
Li Rongsen nodded, looked at his watch, and said, "Since we have things to do tomorrow, let's go to bed early today."
"That's right. I can't disturb you anymore. What if you want to do something else?" Yan Qingqiu said as he stood up, picked up a big bowl, and went back to his room.
Li Rongsen said to An Yan, "He's really something. He always likes to make trouble like this."
"Just let him be. That's just his nature." An Yan didn't mind. She got up and went to the inner room. She said to Li Rongsen, "I'll go wash up first."
Li Rongsen nodded. He walked over and closed the door first, then returned to the inner room and saw a novel on the table by the window. It was a newly printed novel, not a printed book. He did not open it to read it, but went to the other side of the bed to spread out the bedding, thinking that he really became a bed-maker.
An Yan walked out of the bathroom and said to Li Rongsen, "Go wash up, I'm ready."
Li Rongsen nodded and went into the bathroom, while An Yan went to the table and took out the printed novel, thinking that she could read it to him tonight.
But she felt very sleepy, so she gave up and fell asleep on the bed.
When Li Rongsen came out of the bathroom, he saw An Yan was already asleep. He turned off all the lights, then climbed onto the bed and lay down carefully beside An Yan.
There was no conversation that night until dawn, when sunlight shone through the window.
An Yan slept until she woke up naturally and found that Li Rongsen was no longer beside her. She came to her senses and realized that she had things to do today. She immediately got dressed and went to bed. When she heard movement in the outer room, she asked, "Who is it?"
"It's me. I asked them to bring breakfast. Are you awake?" Li Rongsen asked her.
"I just woke up. I'm going to take a shower." An Yan said as she went to the bathroom. After she finished taking care of herself, she came out from the inner room and found a lot of cakes on the table. She asked, "What time is it now? Did I get up late?"
"It's not late at all. It's only eight o'clock. You got up early." Li Rongsen told her.
An Yan chuckled, sat down at the table, and said, "I thought I slept until noon again. By the way, when is Yi Chen's performance?"
"The performance is scheduled for the evening, so we'll still be there in time." Li Rongsen said as he poured a bowl of porridge for An Yan and said, "Have a sip of this first, it's good for your stomach."
"Okay." An Yan nodded and asked, "What about those people? Did they get up?"
"Probably not yet. If he gets up, he will come over." Li Rongsen signaled her not to worry about it.
After breakfast, An Yan went to the herbal medicine yard. She took a lot of medicine and put it all in her bag. She said to Li Rongsen, "You go take care of your work later. I'll go look after Zinan."
"I'll go with you." Li Rongsen insisted.
"Don't worry, he doesn't mean any bad things." An Yan signaled him not to be nervous.
But Li Rongsen didn't dare to do that, and he even brought up some old things, saying, "You once told me you wanted to be my secretary, and now you haven't even gone to work for a single day."
An Yan laughed when she heard this. She naturally knew what Li Rongsen meant. He was just worried about her and Gu Zinan being alone together.
Li Rongsen continued, "Let's go to the company together, and after lunch we'll go see Gu Zinan, and then go to Yichen's school. I've arranged it all, is that okay?"
"Okay, I'll do as you say." An Yan nodded.
Li Rongsen held An Yan's shoulders and said, "I'm not afraid that he will take you away, but I'm afraid that he will cause you trouble."
An Yan naturally knew it, and she said, "Okay, I'll listen to you."
Li Rongsen couldn't help but kiss An Yan on the forehead, which made Yan Qingqiu, who was coming over, sigh and say, "Sorry, I didn't see anything. I'm leaving now, you guys continue."
"Come back here." Li Rongsen signaled Yan Qingqiu to stay.
Yan Qingqiu turned to look at An Yan and Li Rongsen and said, "I just wanted to come here for breakfast, but has your breakfast not started yet, or has it already finished?"
"Go and see if Meidie and the others have eaten. We have finished eating a long time ago and are getting ready to go out." Li Rongsen explained to him.
"Okay, I'm leaving." Yan Qingqiu nodded, turned around and ran away.
An Yan and Li Rongsen went outside. They hadn't been out for two days. Rong Qian had called them several times recently, urging them to have dinner together.
An Yan said: "When can I make an appointment with Rong Qian? She always says she wants to have dinner together."
"I'm fine with either. Just decide for yourself." Li Rongsen replied.
An Yan nodded, then checked her phone, which contained information on the properties of some herbs, intending to mix a few new medicines. She said, "Gu Zinan's leg is a bit troublesome. Let's see if there's any movement. If there's still no movement, it's time to give him some strong medicine."
Li Rongsen said, "We'll know after we take a look. Maybe they've already reacted."
"That's better." An Yan nodded, wondering how Gu Zinan has been these past two days. She sent him a message yesterday, saying she would go see him today, but she didn't reply.
Gu Zinan was in a daze in the room when Bai Shichen walked in. He said, "I brought you some books. You can read them when you're bored. They're all about mathematics, the kind you used to like."
"I don't like these books now." Gu Zinan said. He doesn't like reading at all now.
Bai Shichen also felt that he had not considered it carefully. He said, "How about this, I will bring some interesting things to entertain you, pick out a few novels, or I can play chess with you."
"No need, go back and take care of your own business." Gu Zinan just answered him without any emotion.
Bai Shichen added, "An Yan and the others will be here soon, did you know?"
"I know, she sent me a message." Gu Zinan still had an expressionless look on his face.
"That's good. I'll go out and do some work for a while. I'll be back in an hour or two." Bai Shichen said as he turned and walked out, intending to find some new and interesting things for him so that he wouldn't feel bored.
But Gu Zinan is also busy. Planting lilies is his daily routine, and he also writes calligraphy. His handwriting is very beautiful, even better than those of contemporary calligraphy masters.
Gu Zinan pushed the wheelchair to the side of the table, picked up the cup on the table and poured some water. Suddenly, the door was closed, and he found a person standing on the other side of the screen. Judging from the figure, it should be a man.

Gu Zinan sneered and said, "Finally, you've come."
"If you want to blame someone, blame the lilies you planted. The smell is really bad." The man sneered.
"I don't allow you to say such things." Gu Zinan also sneered at him.
"Why, are you still thinking about having a sister?"
"She is my sister, and only she can save me."
"Maybe, she might be able to rescue you, but have you ever thought that she will be trapped in that dream forever? Can you bear it?" said the man.
"Life is like a dream, everywhere is a dream." Gu Zinan asked him back.
The man on the other side of the screen laughed softly, with a hint of sarcasm in his voice, and said, "You have a strong willpower. You never die."
