Chapter 520: The Stripped Body

Chapter 520: The Stripped Body

"You can't kill me anymore." Gu Zinan said.

"I don't want to hurt you because I feel sorry for you, but those things happened so long ago. Why should we go back?" the man on the other side of the screen asked him.

"Why, do you want me to go back and end my life?" Gu Zinan asked him back.

"What's wrong with that? Reincarnation, starting over."

"I'll forget my sister if I do that. I won't agree to that."

"You'll have a new sister, so why bother sticking with her?"

"Aren't you obsessed with her? You used her to get our family to do things for you, and when she was no longer useful to you, you killed her and pinned the blame on me. You're such a heartless bastard."

"Those who are in power can kill even their closest relatives."

"Why did you come to see me?" Gu Zinan asked him.

"I'm here to take you home." The man behind the screen waved his hand, pushed Gu Zinan onto the bed, and slapped him on the chest.

Gu Zinan felt like his whole body was shattered, and then he found himself back in his original body. His hands were locked with heavy chains, and his legs were kneeling on the ground, already disabled.

This is a pitch-black cave with a few fruit trees and some clear water in it. It seems to be isolated from the world, and the flow of time has been frozen.

But the cave entrance told him the passage of days. Sunlight and moonlight shone through it.

Gu Zinan didn't expect that he would come back again. He took great efforts to pick out the most suitable body, but was still sent back by that vicious man. He was really unwilling to accept this and wanted to go back again.

On the other side, An Yan and Li Rongsen had already come to Gu Zinan's place. They found that his door was closed. They couldn't help but feel a little confused, so they called Bai Shichen.

Bai Shichen was just reaching his doorstep when he saw it was Li Rongsen calling, so he hung up and asked, "Have you arrived at my house yet?"

"Gu Zinan is not at home. Did you take him out?" Li Rongsen asked him.

"Wait a moment, I'm coming in." Bai Shichen said as he hung up the phone and strode towards where Gu Zinan lived. Sure enough, he saw An Yan and Li Rongsen standing outside.

An Yan said: "Why are you alone? Where is Gu Zinan?"

"He's been in the room the whole time." Bai Shichen said as he went to knock on the door, but Gu Zinan didn't come to open it. He couldn't help but feel a little surprised and said, "This is impossible. He can't go out alone. Even if he did go out, he would be nearby. He can't leave here at all."

"Push the door." Li Rongsen reminded him.

Bai Shichen pushed the door and it opened, showing that it was not locked. He saw that there was no one in the wheelchair, so he went to the bed to see. He found Gu Zinan lying on the bed and called him softly: "Zinan, Zinan, wake up."

Of course Gu Zinan wouldn't wake up and had no reaction at all.

Bai Shichen looked down at Gu Zinan and found that he looked pale and something was very wrong, so he shook him, his voice a little louder than before, and shouted: "Zinan, wake up, are you okay?"

An Yan strode forward to take a look, and Li Rongsen pulled Bai Shichen away in time to prevent him from blocking An Yan's way.

"How could he be like this?" An Yan was taking his pulse and found that his veins were gone and he had almost no breath. She immediately took out a gold needle and pricked his heart chakra.

But she found that her golden needles could not penetrate at all, as if something was blocking Gu Zinan's body. She first said to Bai Shichen: "Please help me buy some medicine. I need it."

"Okay, just write me a note and I'll go out and buy it." Bai Shichen nodded.

An Yan immediately wrote down some medicine names for him, and then handed them to him, saying, "Thank you for your trouble."

Li Rongsen was about to say something when An Yan grabbed his hand and said to Bai Shichen, "Drive slowly. I'll treat him here first."

Bai Shichen nodded, then left the house and hurried out to buy medicine.

Li Rongsen was naturally puzzled and asked, "I want him to go to the hospital to get the medicine. Wouldn't that save a lot of trouble?"

"I just wanted to get him away. Gu Zinan's illness is not an ordinary one. He was poisoned by someone and his soul is sealed." An Yan said bluntly to Li Rongsen.

"Who would do this to him?" Li Rongsen was puzzled.

An Yan didn't know who it was, but she found that this person's methods were vicious. She still couldn't find where he sealed the main vital point, and she needed to hurry. She was afraid that if she couldn't find it within an hour, it would be too late to save him.

Li Rongsen also noticed that An Yan's brows were furrowed, and asked, "Is there anything I can help you with?"

"Just prick his acupuncture point and open up that acupuncture point." An Yan said as she used the gold needle to prick a place, but still to no avail.

Li Rongsen said, "I've also learned acupuncture. Let me try it with you."

"Okay, but be gentle so as not to hurt him." An Yan said as she handed him a golden needle, signaling him to be careful.

"Actually, I have some doubts in my heart." Li Rongsen said and pierced an acupuncture point, but it was not.

"What's the doubt?" An Yan asked him.

"Gu Zinan is not an ordinary person, otherwise there wouldn't be such a weird person attacking him." Li Rongsen said.

"That's right. The person who attacked him is definitely not from here." An Yan agreed with this statement.

Li Rongsen inserted another acupuncture point, but it was still useless. He said, "When he wakes up, we have to ask him who he is."

An Yan suddenly felt a headache. She found that there was a huge attraction to her bag. Li Rongsen also noticed that there seemed to be something flashing inside the bag. He immediately said, "An Yan, open your bag and take a look."

An Yan immediately took out the item inside. It was the lily hairpin that Gu Zinan had given her. She said, "Maybe he's asking me for help."

"So what should we do now?"

An Yan frowned, moved a chair over, and then sat on it to meditate. She said, "I'll try to find him with my mind. I believe I can follow the clue of this hairpin."

"Then you must be careful." Li Rongsen reminded her.

"Don't worry, I know what to do." An Yan nodded, and took out a small ball made of Youyue grass from her bag, transformed it into a ray of light, and then began to meditate.

Sure enough, the hairpin was luring her to walk in a certain direction. There was fog all around her and she had no idea which direction was east, south, west or north. But in the next moment, she seemed to fall down and found that it was a cave.

"Who are you?"

The voice sounded familiar, which made An Yan feel a little relieved. She looked around and found that there was almost no way out. She asked, "Where is this, and who are you?"

"It's Sister, it's Sister?" The man's voice became very excited, and he quickly asked, "Is it An Yan?"

"It's me." An Yan said as she walked forward, and then she saw a man tied up there. He was sitting on the ground with his hands hanging on the ground, and two heavy chains tied him up.

This man looked different from Gu Zinan, but for some reason, An Yan felt it was him.

"Sister, I'm Zinan." The man looked up at her, his eyes flickering as if he was about to cry.

An Yan approached him, looked him up and down for a long time before asking, "Gu Zinan?" She felt as if she was in another world, because this man was someone she knew. She had dreamed of him often recently, and he looked like this.
