"Yeah?"
Huo Jingxi pulled out a strip of metal from somewhere.
The thing had a pointed head, a body that seemed to have ridges, and was entirely black, gleaming with a faint, dark light.
As he lightly rubbed the edge with his fingertips, Lu Baofei's body trembled uncontrollably.
"Huo Jingxi, don't do anything foolish. Before finding out who killed Yi'er, shouldn't you listen to the police's deductions first?"
"I could never harm Yi'er. Otherwise, I should have hidden myself the moment I learned he was injured!"
Vehicles whizzed past outside the window.
She desperately wanted to knock on the window and call for help.
But a subconscious sense of crisis told her that doing so would only provoke the guy in front of her, who was both dangerous and righteous!
She carefully shifted her body and reached her hand to the edge of the bag.
Perhaps it would be better to call for help using a mobile phone!
"Lu Baofei, I never said you hired the Dark Wolf!"
Huo Jingxi blinked, and Lu Baofei quickly withdrew her hand that was gripping the corner of the phone.
She stared at him in horror. "Then what do you mean?"
Huo Jingxi used the tip of his military dagger to lift the strap of Lu Baofei's bag from her shoulder, then casually tossed the bag onto the passenger seat.

The anger in his single eye seemed to want to burn Lu Baofei to ashes.
