"Take care, Advisor Li." Francisco whispered to Li Jia at the door, his smile so strange. Li Feng didn't have a good impression of this head of the China department. If it weren't for Old Bolun, Li Jia probably wouldn't even give him a second glance.
Without much thought, Li Jia pushed open the door and walked into the office. The office was about two hundred square meters in size. In front of the huge floor-to-ceiling window was a very imposing large desk, behind which was a luxurious chair. The chair was facing away from Li Jia, and the person in the chair was smoking. Wisps of smoke rose and drifted quietly in this huge space. Apart from the person behind the desk, there was no one else in the entire office!
"You're Li Jia?" The person behind the chair turned around as she spoke, and to Li Jia's surprise, it was a woman, and a beautiful one at that. She had a cigarette between her fingers, gently exhaling the smoke as she stared at Li Jia and said lazily.
"I am Li Jia. Is there anything I can tell you?" From the moment Li Jia entered the room until the woman spoke, there was at least five minutes of complete silence. Therefore, after the woman spoke, Li Jia did not say anything more to her and went straight to asking the question she wanted to know.
“Hehe, you’re very straightforward. Alright, I’ll make an exception this time. My name is Enrique Bernat, you can call me Enrique. I’m here to investigate something, and I hope you can cooperate!” Enrique said, standing up. At that moment, several people in plainclothes walked in through the door and showed Li Jia their identification: “Interpol.”
"Hehe, I seem to be dealing with the police a lot lately. I wonder what you want to know?" Seeing those Interpol agents, whose identities were unclear, Li Jia smiled knowingly, shrugged, and then casually sat down in front of Enrique's desk, where the guests were seated.
“Very good. Do you know this person?” After Enrique finished speaking, he took out a photo, placed it on the table, and pushed it in front of Li Jia. Li Jia picked up the photo, glanced at it, and then nodded. “I’ve met him once. According to Francisco, this big oaf is called Andres, and he seems to own 45 percent of the hotel’s shares. Of course, that’s what he said himself, and I don’t know for sure.”
After Li Jia finished speaking, Enrique nodded, then nodded to several Interpol officers. Following Enrique's instructions, the Interpol officers immediately stepped forward, lifted Li Jia up, and searched him, finding the VIP card that Francisco had given him. They handed the card to Enrique and then stood behind Li Jia. The bulging waistbands indicated that they were all carrying metal weapons.
"Where did you get this card?" Enrique looked at Li Jia with a sharp gaze, holding the VIP card. He casually opened the laptop on the table, connected it to the card reader, and asked Li Jia as he put the card into the reader. The angry expression in his eyes made Li Jia smile slightly.
“Francisco gave it to me. You can ask him if you don’t believe me.” Li Jia watched Enrique’s actions, her smile never changing. After reading the contents of the Supreme Card, Enrique nodded to the Interpol officers, “Bring Francisco to see me.”
About five or six minutes later, Francisco appeared in the office, stood in front of Enrique, and nodded slightly. "Miss Enrique, may I ask what brings you here?"
"Mr. Li said you gave him this card. Is that true?" Enrique pulled out the Supreme Card, waved it in front of Francisco, and then asked.
“Miss Enrique, I’m sorry, I haven’t given Consultant Li anything, and this card isn’t something I could possibly possess. You know the Green Shirt Hotel has a strict hierarchy; I don’t have that kind of authority.” Francisco’s words surprised Li Jia, but despite the surprise, she almost instantly understood the situation. She had been subtly tricked once again.
“Mr. Li, I suppose you have nothing to say in your explanation? Andres died a few days ago, all his identification documents are missing, and someone saw you knock down Andres. I think you officers can make the arrest now!” As Enrique finished speaking, several Interpol officers, whether real or fake, immediately stepped forward, took out handcuffs, grabbed Li Jia's wrists, twisted them behind his back, and put a pair of gold bracelets on his wrists.
Li Jia offered no resistance whatsoever. She allowed several Interpol officers to handcuff her wrists, then smiled as they watched Enrique and Francisco. Before leaving, she softly murmured, "We'll meet again. Wish me luck!"
After Li Jia was taken away by several Interpol officers, Enrique and Francisco instantly became heated. The huge office became their bed, and after a fierce physical fight, the two lay on the floor, looking at each other. "The opportunity is coming soon. Hopefully, this scapegoat can fool that old fox. Our years of enduring humiliation will soon have a result."
Francisco's voice was somber, and Enrique, lying beside him, nodded gently. "If we succeed this time, the two of us will become the next masters of the Spanish underground kingdom. At that time, I will send everyone connected to old Boren to hell!"
Francisco gave Enrique a hard kiss, and then the two of them began to make love passionately once again. In this space, which was sealed and soundproofed in the best way, the air was filled with a decadent atmosphere.
As Li Jia walked out of the hotel's back door, she already knew that these so-called Interpol agents were all imposters. No matter how you looked at it, it didn't make sense that Interpol would get involved. The local police hadn't even made a move, yet these agents had traveled all this way to investigate. Plus, the group had come through the back door, the staff entrance, where a black Honda minivan was parked with the engine still running, clearly having been waiting there for a while.
