Chapter 284 Abnormal

"Huai'an, aren't you going to introduce them?" Xia Xiang looked at the two of them coldly and said to Huai'an.

“Baby, my name is Xuanming, and I’m your fiancé.” Xuanming grinned.

"Ignore him, he's a lunatic." Huai'an glanced at Xuan Ming. "Has he made up his mind?"

"The second type," Xia Xiang said.

"What's the first option?" Jiu Wu asked curiously, since Xia Xiang hadn't mentioned what the first choice was.

"You've both forgotten each other; one is forever imprisoned in the Iron Dimension, and the other is forever imprisoned on Demon-Slaying Island..." Huai'an said.

"Stop talking, just choose the second option." Jiu Wu interrupted Huai An directly.

"Let's go," Huai'an said. The surrounding environment became hazy, and the four of them arrived at a desolate desert.

Under the guidance of Huai'an and Xuanming, Xia Xiang started from the heart of the acupuncture dance, and her left chest and back were covered with dense, bright red patterns.

"Jiu Wu, you're usually so busy, how can you have such a good figure?" Xia Xiang asked expressionlessly, poking Jiu Wu's fairly firm chest muscles.

"It hurts so much~ Please comfort me~" Jiu Wu hugged the person and started to whine.

"You scoundrel! Let go!" Xuan Ming roared, trying to separate the two, but Huai An stopped him, while the other two continued their affectionate embrace.

Huai'an couldn't bear to watch any longer and waved them back to where they were.

——

"What's the second thing now?" Jiu Wu held Xia Xiang's hand tightly, not letting go.

"The second thing is, let's get married, shall we?" Xia Xiang said earnestly.

"I disagree!" Jiu Wu's voice rang out simultaneously, along with Huai An's voice, which had appeared out of nowhere.

Then they both glared at each other.

"What right do you have to disagree?!"

Huai'an: "Xia Xiang, have you forgotten your vow?"

"I haven't forgotten. I only said I would never be with him, not that I wouldn't marry him. What's wrong with a marriage between two families?"

Huai'an: ...

"Let me remind you, my life is in his hands," Xia Xiang analyzed. "What if he falls for someone else and insists on cutting ties with me, threatening to kill himself?"

"Since we can't break this formation now, wouldn't it be better for me to bind him with marriage? At least he can't betray me morally."

Jiu Wu understood Xia Xiang's meaning, but kept a straight face and didn't say anything. Instead, his thoughts flooded Xia Xiang's mind.

[Goodness gracious! They were childhood sweethearts, then there was a little hiccup, they got back together, then experienced a life-or-death separation, then broke up again, and now they're planning to get married?! I wonder if the author's mental state is as abnormal as Huai'an's. Does the author think they're writing an old-fashioned, melodramatic romance? It's hilarious!]

Huai'an was truly exasperated. He coldly uttered two words and left, deciding to beat up Xuan Ming to vent his anger.

"Why don't you agree?!" Xia Xiang asked Jiu Wu seriously.

Jiu Wu said with a serious expression, "Your current age, and your views on marriage."

"Your views on your parents' marriage made me think you wouldn't get married, but actually I'm prepared to date you for the rest of my life."

"If you don't want to, that's fine. I can't just take a man away from me," Xia Xiang said carelessly.

"Get married, let's get married now!" Jiu Wu was getting angry at Xia Xiang's indifferent attitude.

He wanted this chubby kid to know that not everything is a joke.

"Let's go," Xia Xiang said, ignoring him. "Let's get married in the Silver Dimension first. The earliest marriage age here is fourteen."

——

Then the two went to register, but in the end they didn't get married at their original ages. Instead, eighteen-year-old Xia Xiang and eighteen-year-old Jiu Wu registered together.

"You can't tell my mom and the others about this, or you might lose your leg," Xia Xiang said seriously.

"Have some candy!" Jiu Wu chuckled and handed Xia Xiang a piece of candy. "Here, take this to Xiu, and to your friends in the Silver Dimension."

"What are these?" Xia Xiang asked, carrying a bag of candy.

"Wedding candy," Jiu Wu laughed, "The registration staff said that no one else's wedding is as joyful as ours, so they gave us two bags of candy."

"Alright, let's go back. My second brother has been urging me to go for ages." Xia Xiang immediately summoned the portal.

"Can I carry you before I go?" Jiu Wu asked.

"Of course not," Xia Xiang silently raised her left hand, revealing the red-glowing spell lock.

Although that lunatic named Xuanming had blocked the reminders, they still glowed red, reminding Xia Xiang not to forget her vow.

"Then I'll carry you," Jiu Wu said, hugging Xia Xiang without a second thought. Xia Xiang had no choice but to stand still and cooperate.

"No warning!" Both of them raised their hands simultaneously.

"Then I'll try again." Jiu Wu lowered his head and lightly touched Xia Xiang's forehead with his lips, without giving any reminders.

Without any warning, just as Jiu Wu was staring nervously at Xia Xiang's slightly pursed lips, Xia Xiang reached out, covered his mouth, turned his head, and made Jiu Wu's chin point upwards.

"Don't think you can tease me just because I'm an adult now!" Xia Xiang rolled her eyes at him, ignoring his pitiful look, and watched him return to the Iron Dimension. "Go back obediently!"

Jiuwu: Big brother, have you forgotten that we just got married?

"Wait a minute," Xia Xiang said, her nose tingling as she watched his retreating figure. A feeling of reluctance welled up from somewhere.

"What's wrong?" Jiu Wu turned around, smiling gently as always.

Xia Xiang quickly stepped forward, hugged Jiu Wu, buried her face in his chest, and her tears soaked the front of his clothes.
