"Ah Rong, what happened to me just now?"
Consort Chen had no recollection of what she had done.
"Your Highness, you just gave Ruofeng and the guards to the Second Prince." Arong said, heartbroken.
"How could I possibly agree to his request?"
"I don't know what's wrong, but the Dowager Consort seems to be possessed. I tried to remind you, but you stopped me."
Ah Rong explained.
"If Ruofeng isn't the most outstanding among the Tianji Guards, it shouldn't be a problem to give him to Xiao Ding to teach him martial arts," Consort Chen thought for a moment.
"Ah Rong, I need to see the Emperor. Please make the arrangements for me."
"Shall we go now?" Ah Rong asked nervously.
"Yes, I'll go right away." Consort Chen seemed to realize something, and a look of fear appeared on her face.

Consort Chen met Xiao Sheng in the Imperial Study and told him everything.
Xiao Sheng comforted Consort Chen.
"Your Highness, don't be afraid, everything is under my control." Xiao Sheng's firm tone reassured Empress Dowager Chen.
“Your Majesty, I am quite certain that I originally intended to assign Xiao Ding an ordinary guard, but I never expected that things would change after I said it.”
"It felt like I was being controlled," Consort Chen continued to explain.
"It's alright, I'll go to Chonghua Palace in a bit and then have someone send you a message."
“We’ve done nothing wrong, so we’re not afraid of those petty people plotting against us. Besides, my grandson isn’t stupid either,” Xiao Sheng said with a smile.
Consort Chen was finally relieved and allowed Arong to accompany her back to the palace.
Xiao Sheng was worried, so when Consort Chen left, he handed her a small bell.
"Your Highness, in case of emergency, ring this bell."
"Good!" Seeing that the bell was no ordinary item, Consort Chen felt much more at ease.
