Chapter 383 Xiao Fu is Injured

"W-what did you say..."

Hu Shen's face was also grim, his sharp gaze sweeping over the orcs. "When did this happen? Who did it?!"

"Just now, that orc was discovered when he came down the mountain. It was Da Bao who found him, and Xiao Fu was also injured..."

The orcs didn't dare to breathe and hurriedly reported the whole situation.

Hu Shen didn't say a word, and started walking out.

The frost and ferocity on his face sent chills down the spines of the surrounding orcs, making them tremble.

This time, the king was truly enraged!

Eagle Swift, pale-faced, saw the orc's bewildered expression and stood up to kick him.

"Hurry up and lead the way! What are you standing there for?!"

After following for two steps, Yingjie stopped again and turned to instruct another subordinate.

"Go and inform Ah Tang's family immediately, and find the best veterinarian from Ten Thousand Beasts Mountain."

The subordinate acknowledged and hurriedly left.

Da Bao discovered Su Tang halfway down the mountain.

When Yingjie arrived at the scene with Hushen, the ground was a mess.

It's unclear what happened, but several trees have fallen haphazardly, and there are two blood-soaked orc corpses on the ground.

Xiao Fu lay beside him, surrounded by five little ones whose round eyes were now filled with tears. They whimpered and kept licking Xiao Fu's head and cheeks.

He wanted to lick his wound, but Xiao Fu stopped him.

"I'm fine, Da Bao, you don't need to worry, it's just a minor injury..."

He smiled and reached out his right hand to rub Da Bao's head.

My left arm, from shoulder to wrist, was completely mangled, apparently injured by something, with the skin and flesh torn open and bloody.

“Brother Hu Shen.”

Seeing Hu Shen approach, Xiao Fu tried to sit up from the ground, her face full of guilt.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't stop that orc. He took my sister away..."

"It's not your fault." When Hu Shen saw this scene, his eyes seemed to be churning with a storm. He pressed down on Xiao Fu's uninjured shoulder with a cold face.

His voice was low, sharp yet filled with intense killing intent, but he restrained himself somewhat for fear of frightening Xiao Fu.

"I will find your older sister."

As soon as he finished speaking, Lin Xia and her husband, along with Da Qing, Su Jianyuan, and their brothers, arrived.

Seeing Xiao Fu's appearance, everyone's faces darkened.

"How did you get hurt like this? Who did this? I'll skin them alive!"

"Does it hurt, old man? Hurry up and get the medicine."

Lin Xia cursed and swore, her eyes welling up with tears.

Xiao Fu is, after all, her own child. He's usually well-behaved and sensible. If she finds out who kidnapped her daughter and hurt her child like this, she'll definitely kill that bastard!

"Hey, hey! I'm coming right now..."

A flurry of activity ensued.

Soon the veterinarian from Ten Thousand Beasts Mountain arrived, examined the other two beastmen, and shook his head with a solemn expression.

She's already dead.

"How many orcs have come? How could this happen..." Yingjie wiped the sweat from his forehead, his heart filled with fear.

He had never seen such a strange injury before. It was not a scratch, nor a bite, nor a bruise. It looked like a burn, but upon closer inspection, it was different.

Xiao Fu glanced at his mother, who was tending to his left arm wound, and explained with lowered eyes:

"Just one orc."

"One?!" He had no idea that there were such powerful orcs in the Ten Thousand Beasts Mountain.

Hu Shen's face was cold and stern as he gestured for him to explain the situation clearly.

Xiao Fu nodded. "Da Bao discovered it first. The orc was completely wrapped up, so you couldn't see his face. He was also carrying another orc wrapped in animal skin."

"None of us noticed that Da Bao suddenly yelled at the orc. I realized something was wrong and called out. Two orcs came to help and pulled the orc away from the coiled-up woman. We saw that she was wearing shoes made by her mother."

He paused, then continued:

"Those shoes were made by my mother for my older sister. Da Bao and I wanted to chase after them, but then that beastman suddenly threw out some strange things."

"Is that what hurt you?" Hu Shen asked in a deep voice.

Xiao Fu's face was full of self-reproach as he nodded and said, "Yes, as soon as that thing touched those two orcs, it made a loud noise, and then..."

He saw that Da Bao and the others were almost hit by that thing and stopped them.

Luckily, it didn't hit me, but I was still affected.

Hu Shen and the other beasts looked ashen-faced.

Su Jianyuan's expression turned somewhat strange upon hearing Xiao Fu's description.

This thing sounds so much like... explosives.

But how could such a thing exist on an ancient continent?!

Hu Shen and Ying Jie had never heard of this before, but Su Jianyuan, Su Shiwei, and the two elders all sensed something was amiss and remained silent with grim faces.

It was by chance that orcs created explosives.

Others, like them, also came here.

But why did they specifically want to kidnap Tangtang?

The five cubs listened to Xiao Fu's words and kept making "woo-woo" sounds, licking his cheeks.

They knew that Xiao Fu had protected them, and they felt guilty about Xiao Fu's injury.

After licking its cheek, it turned and growled angrily in the direction down the mountain, as if blaming itself for not being able to stop the villain who took its mother away.

"Don't worry, I'll make him pay the price."

Hu Shen gently stroked the cubs' heads, a bloodthirsty glint flashing in his eyes.

"My lord! We have captured an orc at your residence!"

Niu Li carried a small orc on his shoulder and ran over like a wild bull crossing the border.

The little orc was dressed in tattered clothes, thin and small, with a pale face and closed eyes.
