“Your Majesty, this orc is lying outside your stone house. There are traces left by the orc on the ground, and this too.”
Niu Li handed over a piece of animal hide cut to the size of a handkerchief.
It seemed as if some kind of powder had settled on them. When they waved it, the powder scattered, and everyone felt dizzy.
With quick reflexes, Su Shiwei covered her mouth and nose with one hand, removed the animal hide, and threw it on the ground.
"This stuff is strange, don't inhale any of the powder on it."
Everyone quickly took a few steps back and covered their mouths and noses with their hands.
"Wake him up," Hu Shen commanded coldly.
Niu Li knelt on the ground, raised one hand, and slapped the little orc's face several times.
He didn't open his eyes until the little orc's face was swollen high, looking completely bewildered.
Upon seeing Hu Shen, he hurriedly scrambled to his feet and lay prostrate on the ground.
"Your Majesty, Your Majesty..."
Before Hu Shen could ask a question, Niu Li grabbed him by the collar and lifted him up.
A gruff, menacing question:
"Speak! Who made you approach Atang? Where did you take Atang?!"
The little beastman shook his head in terror, his eyes filled with confusion. "I...I don't know. I didn't go near A-Tang. I didn't go to see A-Tang. What...what are you talking about..."
"Still trying to lie! You've been sleeping outside Ah Tang's place. Talk or not, or I'll beat you to death right now!"
Niu Li angrily raised his fist.
The little orc turned pale with fright, but still shook his head.
"I don't know, I really didn't..."
