Chapter Sixty-Six: Just call us Uncle and Aunt.

Wolf Kui rushed out of the forest and saw Wolf Man waiting there at the entrance to the tribe in the valley.

"Mother?" His eyes regained some clarity, and he staggered to a stop.

Wolfman was terrified when he saw him like this, thinking that Wolfman had been beaten up again.

She rushed forward to support him, "My child, what happened to you? Did that wandering orc attack you again? I knew he was no good, it must have been Atang who ordered him, right?"

Before Lang Kui could speak, Lang Man angrily pressed for an answer.

She was convinced that the other party was the one who did it.

Wolf Kui shook his head, and after a while, he had the strength to transform into human form. He then said to Wolf Man:

"No, Mother, it's my own injury that hasn't healed yet. It has nothing to do with them. Let's go back quickly."

His face was still somewhat pale, and his forehead was covered in cold sweat.

Wolfman clearly didn't believe it. She was in a fit of anger and didn't notice Wolf Kui's strange behavior at all. She walked with him into the tribe.

After walking only a few dozen meters, Langman couldn't help himself and started chattering incessantly:

"My child, I'm not trying to be mean, but that Ah Tang is no good. She even protects the wandering beastmen. You can't find any kind of female you want. Listen to your mother this time, find a good female in the tribe and mate with her!"

The females in the tribe were generally well-known and honest.

If Lang Kui doesn't find a mate soon, she's afraid he'll continue feeding that little bitch every day, wasting so much food!

"Mother!" Upon hearing Lang Man slander Su Tang, Lang Kui stopped, his brows furrowed, and his face darkened.

"Don't cause any more trouble for Atang. This is my own business and has nothing to do with Atang."

He said it with a serious expression.

Upon hearing this, Langman became even more convinced that Su Tang was a wicked person.

Resentment welled up in her heart. She didn't know what kind of bewitching potion that little bitch had given Wolf Kui, making him so obsessed with her that he wouldn't even listen to his own mother. It was infuriating!

Thinking back to how Lang Kui refused to give up no matter how much he tried to persuade him, Lang Man simply stopped arguing with him.

"Okay, Mom understands. As long as you behave well and listen to Mom from now on, Mom won't look for her."

She was already making plans in her mind. Once she got back, she would find Lang Kui a mate as soon as possible. No matter what Lang Kui thought, once the two of them mated, it would be impossible for him to go back to Su Tang!

Yes! That's what we'll do!

She simply couldn't believe that a virile young man and a beautiful woman could be together without something happening between them.

Upon hearing this, Lang Kui was finally relieved.

He never expected that his usually domineering mother would be so easy to talk to today.

He didn't know what was wrong with him these past few days, that he had done something so absurd in a moment of confusion. He just hoped that Ah Tang would be alright and safe from danger.

The mother and son each had their own thoughts.

Wolfman came up with a solution, and his mood improved considerably.

"My boy, you've done a great service to the tribe this time. The chief promised you that you could take the food first. Remember to bring back plenty later. Lang Qing is growing a lot, so he needs to eat more so he can be as strong as you in the future..."

As Langman walked, he kept talking to Langkui.

Having one Wolf Kui was already the envy of all the beastmen in the tribe. If Wolf Qing could be like Wolf Kui in the future, she would never have to worry about anything.

"Okay," Lang Kui replied absentmindedly.

Wolfman continued talking to himself, "It's all thanks to the abilities of my wolf cubs that they can find so much food so easily, benefiting the tribe. Our Gray Wolf tribe has never had such a joyous occasion before..."

As for what she said, Lang Kui didn't hear a word she said.

...

at the same time.

Outside the thatched shed, the family of five had just seen Xiao Fu off and were now deep in thought, circling around Da Qing.

Su Jianyuan scratched his head, "Mother, what do you think Daqing should call you from now on?"

Su Shiwei also asked, "What number is he?"

"Oh right, do I have an extra brother or an extra brother? Daqing, how old are you this year?" Su Tang looked at Daqing curiously.

This girl was tall and looked about the same age as her two older brothers, so it was hard to tell who was older or younger.

Upon hearing this, the Su family members fell silent.

They don't even know their own age!

Fortunately, Daqing was also confused. He touched his nose and had a silly expression on his face. "How big? I'm only this big. I'm bigger than all of you."

As he spoke, he spun around in a circle to show off his height and stature.

Su Tang: "..." This silly goose!

"That's not what I meant by 'how old,' I meant your age. How old are you?"

Daqing shook his head blankly. "This... what does it mean that the old orc didn't teach me?"

Everyone: "..." What an idiot.

Lin Xia was also embarrassed; she really had taken in a simpleton.

"You kids, just call me whatever you always have. We don't care about those fancy names anymore," Lin Xia said, waving her hand.

"As for the two of us," she said to Daqing after glancing at Su Guodong, "Daqing, from now on you can call us Uncle and Aunt! Just make yourself at home here."

She thought about it and realized that she hadn't raised the person for even a day, yet she was asking her to call her "Mom," which was really taking advantage of her.

This is rather unfair to Daqing and his biological parents. She doesn't have that kind of shamelessness; calling them "uncle" and "aunt" would be more appropriate.

That way it won't be awkward.

"Uncle! Aunt!" Daqing immediately called out to the two of them obediently, showing off his big white teeth with an excited expression.
