The commotion was quite loud, even drowning out Si Tian's voice. For a moment, the two looked at each other, neither of them speaking.
A moment later, Si Tian gestured for Zhu Qing to be quiet, then rushed to the door and bolted it shut.
After doing all this, she leaned against the door, trying to peek through the crack to see what was going on outside.
Zhu Qinghao, whose legs were weak, could only sit on the bed and feel a chill for Si Tian at the door.
