Chapter 6: Not Allowed to Eat?

"Waaaah... Yinyin, thank goodness you're alright! You almost scared your mother to death!"

"If something happens to you, I really don't know what I would do!"

As she spoke, she cried even harder, and her resentment towards her mother-in-law deepened.

Why do I hate them for being so heartless and indifferent?

Of course, there was also regret for his own incompetence!

Almost there!

Yin Yin almost died!

No wonder her personality suddenly changed!

Unbeknownst to her, Yinyin had already narrowly escaped death.

"It's alright, Mother, don't be afraid, I'm fine now."

Perhaps because the original owner's emotions were still intact, Zhiyin felt a pang of pain in her heart when she saw Yao Yulin crying her eyes out.

She forced a smile and patted Yao Yulin's shoulder reassuringly, "Don't cry, you won't look pretty if you keep crying! They say that those who survive a great calamity are destined for good fortune!"

"Your daughter is sure to have a very happy life in the future. Just wait for me to take you all to live a life of luxury!"

She raised an eyebrow, her voice full of confidence.

Upon hearing this, Yao Yulin immediately burst into laughter through her tears, "Okay!"

After much coaxing, Yao Yulin finally fell asleep. However, even while sleeping, she had to hold Zhiyin tightly, feeling very insecure and afraid that she would be gone as soon as she opened her eyes.

Zhiyin let her be and also had a good sleep.

She didn't know how much time had passed before she slowly woke up, hearing the noises outside.

Immediately afterwards, I felt that the discomfort I had been experiencing had completely disappeared, my headache was gone, and I felt full of energy!

She couldn't help but admire it in her heart. Traditional Chinese medicine is indeed amazing! It works instantly, even though it tastes a bit unpleasant.

Soon, Zhiyin, clutching her rumbling, empty stomach, rolled her eyes mischievously and quickly woke up Yao Yulin and Zhihua, "Come on, let's go eat!"

Speak, and open the door quickly.

Sure enough, the grandparents, the eldest uncle, and Zhifu were already sitting on the stools.

Meanwhile, the eldest aunt and Zhi Zhaodi appeared to be serving dishes.

Zhiyin looked at the empty stool, raised an eyebrow, walked over with a refreshed expression, and sat down without any hesitation. She then pulled Yao Yulin and Zhihua down to sit with her as well.

"Oh... everyone's already eaten? Why didn't anyone call us?"

As she spoke, she casually and swaggered over, taking the cornmeal porridge from her uncle's table and placing it in front of herself.

Then he placed the other two bowls of unclaimed food in front of Yao Yulin and Zhihua, and, as if no one else was there, greeted them, "Mom, paint, eat."

Upon seeing this, the uncle was stunned and stood frozen in place. Realizing what had happened, he glared angrily at Zhiyin.

Grandmother and grandfather both turned pale, and Grandmother slammed her chopsticks down hard on the table.

A loud "bang..." followed.

She immediately glared angrily at Zhiyin, "What are you going to eat? There's no food for you."

"You haven't done anything, yet you want to eat? You're dreaming!"
