Chapter 308 Strange Indigenous People

Wen Zuo carefully placed Mo Shuwan on the ground. Seeing Liu Dongcheng preparing to walk towards the cave exit, he immediately reached out and grabbed him, saying, "You can't get hurt in your current state. Go back and don't wander around."

Liu Dongcheng was stunned for a moment, then said helplessly, "I forgot." After saying that, he walked back to his and Mo Shuwan's side. The next moment, a circle of bullets was placed next to them. These bullets were very expensive. The group of them had only exchanged for a little over twenty bullets, but the benefits were also obvious.

These bullets can withstand attacks from any substance before their energy is depleted. They were originally intended to be used to save lives in critical moments, but now Mo Shuwan and Liu Dongcheng are in a situation where they absolutely cannot be injured. Wen Zuo took out these bullets without any hesitation.

He touched Mo Shuwan's hair worriedly and whispered, "Keep an eye on her."

"Yes, don't worry."

After settling Mo Shuwan and Liu Dongcheng in, Wen Zuo took out his longsword and quickly walked forward. The sounds of breathing beasts could be heard from time to time. They seemed not to be getting close, but no one dared to let their guard down. In the dark world, what they had to watch out for most were those dark creatures that might appear from the shadows at any time.

This is the domain of dark creatures; a moment's carelessness could mean certain death.

Three elemental beings appeared one after another beside the summoner. Surprisingly, these three elemental beings represented completely different elements: one was Chen Jiaxu's water elemental being, one was Luo Baokun's lightning elemental being, and one was Qian Lai's fire elemental being from Zou Zhiqing's team.

call--

"They're here!"

The dense darkness surged toward Wen Zuo and his group, and the light shield composed of countless defensive runes was visibly melting away. The first to be affected were the lighting item cards. The dark creatures were clever and knew that the lighting item cards would restrict their hunting, so they targeted the lighting item cards from the moment they appeared.

In the blink of an eye, three or four lighting props were completely corroded by the darkness.

In the darkness, a black tentacle silently reached out towards Zheng Shanhe, who was sitting in a wheelchair. Zheng Shanhe noticed it and frowned, but before he could see the culprit that made his heart pound, Wen Zuo's figure suddenly appeared in his sight. With a simple slash, half of the tentacle fell to the ground.

The darkness returned to calm. Wen Zuo took a few steps forward but couldn't find the enemy. In fact, he was quite fast and caught up the moment he cut off the tentacles, but the dark creature escaped so easily.

The growing darkness made their breathing increasingly unsteady. More Flame Cards were thrown into the darkness by the passengers, but the dark creatures seemed to have vanished, and no matter what they tried, they could not find their hiding place.

Chen Jiaxu looked at Yun Chenjing, who was squatting beside him, and asked in a low voice, "Are they still there?"

"It's still there."

"Could you kill them all?"

Yun Chen then raised his head to look at Xu of the Chen family, and frowned, saying, "Father doesn't allow me to make a move casually."

...Hey boss, can you please not remember all this so clearly right now?!

Wen Zuo then turned to look at Yun Chenjing and said in a low voice, "You can make a move."

"Yes, Father."

Yun Chen stood up and stepped into the darkness under everyone's gaze. They could hear the sounds of the breathing beasts and the sounds of battle, but no matter what they did, they could not see those dark creatures. Even when the lighting props shone on Yun Chen, they could only see him attacking thin air.

More than ten minutes later, Yun Chen returned with a pile of black crystals. Everyone looked at the crystals that he was chewing like candy and once again clearly saw the gap between him and themselves. The difficulty of this mission world was no threat to this super boss at all.

With the crisis averted, everyone fell into an even deeper silence. Wen Zuo watched as Yun Chen ate at least twenty black crystals before stopping. He noticed that, just like before, Yun Chen closed his eyes and lowered his head after eating. After waiting for a few minutes, Wen Zuo reached out and nudged Yun Chen's arm, but there was no response.

She fell asleep again.

Wen Zuo pursed his lips, sat cross-legged next to Mo Shuwan, and typed with his head down.

Wen Zuo: We had previously guessed that the substance in the black crystal was spiritual energy. Yun Chen had actually used it once before, and after returning, he ate the crystal and then went to sleep. This time it was the same as last time. It seems that he must consume a lot of energy every time he uses it. In order to replenish it, he needs not only the spiritual energy in the crystal, but also sleep.

Upon receiving the message, Chen Jiaxu and Liu Dongcheng both looked at Yun Chenjing, who was fast asleep and tried calling his name, but received no response. Chen Jiaxu then moved over and quietly pinched his arm, but Yun Chenjing was still fast asleep, as if he wouldn't wake up even if the sky fell or the earth cracked.

Chen Jiaxu: Wouldn't that be extremely dangerous?!

Wen Zuo: Try not to leave him alone.

Chen Jiaxu nodded, looking at Yun Chen who was fast asleep, and felt that they were really worried sick about this big shot who was not quite right in the head.

Just as Yun Chen was slaughtering the dark creatures, Mo Shuwan in another place reached her end.

She had a very smooth journey without encountering any major dangers. Even when she was attacked by the black energy, before she could react, several dying monsters would suddenly appear in front of her. As long as she killed those monsters and dug out the black crystals, she could continue her journey safely.

And so she indeed walked smoothly to the end, to this place with a large door standing there.

Mo Shuwan looked up at the stone door in front of her. There were no patterns on it, just a black stone door. She looked at the handle that only reached her waist, raised her eyebrows, pulled the door knocker and knocked twice. A clear echo appeared in her ears.
