Chapter 308 Strange Indigenous People

Yun Chen actually said he wouldn't help, and he really didn't even glance at Zou Zhiqing and the others again. No matter how much they chattered in his ear, he refused to help. Even when Wen Zuo spoke up, it was no use. He would even occasionally cast a murderous glare at Zou Zhiqing and the others, clearly getting impatient with the noise.

Yun Chen was sometimes lucid and sometimes unaware, yet his abilities were astonishing. So, despite feeling dissatisfied and angry, Zou Zhiqing and Luo Baokun didn't dare to force him to save the person, fearing that if they failed to save him, they might anger Yun Chen and cause him to kill the person.

Liu Dongchen's soul and body were well protected and he had not been injured so far. He was sitting next to his own body when he suddenly frowned, stood up, and took a few steps toward the outside of the cave.

"Holy crap! Don't wander off!" Chen Jiaxu was terrified by Liu Dongcheng's actions and rushed forward to pull him back.

Back beside his body, Liu Dongcheng suddenly regained consciousness, feeling his heart pounding wildly at an alarming rate. His breathing became rapid, and with Chen Jiaxu's support, he bent over and said, "My heart... is beating fast... there's something..."

Before he could finish speaking, Liu Dongcheng's face turned pale, and he suddenly fainted.

Hey! Wake up!

"Damn it, how long are we going to be on the defensive?!"

"Sigh, we can't afford to stay passive now. If we take the initiative, what will happen to their health? You should calm down." This time, Luo Baokun didn't argue with Zou Zhiqing. Instead, he quietly advised her to calm down.

Zou Zhiqing understood this principle perfectly well, but she felt aggrieved!

"He's fine."

Wen Zuo and Chen Jiaxu, who were busy checking whether Liu Dongcheng's soul had any problems, turned to look at Yun Chenjing and asked, "Are you sure?"

"Hmm, it's nothing, just a bit of a shock... How could Second Father faint from such a small shock?" Yun Chen muttered to himself, then suddenly shook his head firmly, "I was wrong, he must not be my Second Father."

Chen Jiaxu said, half-laughing and half-crying, "I know you're not thinking straight right now, but can't you be serious for once?"

After learning from Yun Chenjing that Liu Dongcheng was alright, Wen Zuo breathed a sigh of relief and took a step back while holding Mo Shuwan.

Perhaps because Yun Chen had actually removed the black energy, Mo Shuwan's arm wound not only did not continue to worsen, but even showed signs of improvement. Wen Zuo was stunned and noticed that the light emitted by the healing stone hanging around her neck was much stronger than before.

Although the healing stone is still treating Mo Shuwan's wounds very slowly, thanks to the bead Zheng Shanhe took out, the wounds will not worsen for a day, which is enough time for the healing stone to heal most of the wounds on her arm.

Unaware of the immense suffering her body was enduring, Mo Shuwan remained imprisoned in the water dungeon. During this time, she heard people moving around her and the sound of an iron gate being pulled open—three times in total.

"Including me and the neighbor, this is the last one... Let's wipe them all out..."

Even though she couldn't see them, she could roughly guess who was imprisoned next door. A slight noise came from next door. Mo Shuwan leaned on the elemental giant's hand, waiting for the group of natives to appear. After all, when other people were captured before, they would all rush over in a large group, perhaps for interrogation, perhaps just out of curiosity, or perhaps for other purposes.

A dozen minutes later, the natives left the water dungeon. They gathered above and observed Mo Shuwan and the others in the five water dungeons from the five dark water surfaces. Someone said with dissatisfaction, "I told you long ago that we should talk to them peacefully. So far, we have captured five other races. They all have some magical powers and are not afraid of the water dungeons at all."

"Hmph, they weren't even in the water dungeon!"

Indeed, in the five water dungeons, each of the five people used their own methods to levitate on the water's surface, and the water in the dungeons had absolutely no effect on them.

The indigenous people started arguing again, but this time, they finally reached a conclusion. They decided to talk to Mo Shuwan and the other four in a peaceful manner.

After making up their minds, a group of natives left the Water Mirror and headed into the Water Prison. They were unaware that, apart from Mo Shuwan's place, whirlpools had appeared in the other four water prisons. Three of them noticed the whirlpools in time and dispersed them without hesitation.

Passengers who couldn't react in time were silently swallowed by the vortex...

When the indigenous people arrived at the water dungeon, they were horrified to find that one of the dungeons was missing a person, and the atmosphere inside the dungeon had an ominous feel to it.

"They're here! They're here!"

"They've found these people from other races! They want to use them to absorb the dark essence!"

"We must act immediately! We cannot let them succeed!"

So Mo Shuwan and the others, who had been imprisoned in the water dungeon, were released. After leaving the water dungeon, the four of them finally met.

Seeing that his teammates were still there, Qu Dan breathed a sigh of relief and asked in a low voice, "How are you feeling? Are you injured?"

"It's alright, nothing serious. Are you okay?"

The girl in Zou Zhiqing's team turned pale; she couldn't see her teammates!

Once inside, Mo Shuwan, who was all alone, had no worries about them and squinted as she looked around at the uniquely shaped hall.
