Chapter 367 The Collapsing Game World

Upon hearing this, both Mo Shuwan and Wen Zuo's expressions changed noticeably. "Go on," they said.

Lin Guaiji was not the type to consider others by nature. The fact that he reminded them to be mentally prepared was already considered as a consideration for them. So now he simply relayed the information he had just heard from the little monster.

The game world has completely changed, and the reason is Yang Zhou. The little monster said that it was also a passenger of the time bus, but for some reason, it has become like this, and the one who caused all of this is Yang Zhou.

"How is this possible? Where does Yang Zhou get the power to influence the entire game world?"

"That's why I told you to prepare yourselves mentally." After Lin Guaiji finished speaking, he suddenly glanced at the main hall again and said in a deep voice, "Let's go first. You'll know what's going on when you see him."

Lin Guaiji had made it so obvious that Mo Shuwan and Wen Zuo could basically guess Yang Zhou's current situation. They forced themselves to remain calm and said, "Maybe it's just like the Xu family of the Chen family before."

Wen Zuo gave a soft "hmm".

However, both of them knew in their hearts that Yang Zhou's matter this time was definitely not as simple as Chen Jiaxu's, after all, Chen Jiaxu did not have the power to affect the entire small world.

The four of them walked out of the hall again, this time with a little monster by their side. Strangely, the surrounding environment became extremely quiet, and even the time bus that had been making noise before was silent. It was as if something was waiting for them here, and then erased everything once they entered the hall.

When the little monster was only a step away from the main hall, it stopped in its tracks.

Lin Guaiji frowned. "Let's go."

The little monster shook its head violently, "No, I can't go any further, this is the only way I can go."

Zhou Quansheng sneered, "Who are you trying to fool? Stop playing tricks."

"I really can't go any further, I'll die if I go any further." The little monster looked at Zhou Quansheng pleadingly, hoping that he would spare him because he had just told so many secrets.

Zhou Quansheng squinted and asked, "Are you sure you can only stop here?"

When Zhou Quansheng asked this question, Mo Shuwan and Wen Zuo both felt strange, as if Zhou Quansheng didn't actually want the answer to the question.

Sure enough, after the little monster gave an affirmative answer, Zhou Quansheng suddenly attacked him. The attack was so fast that the little monster didn't even have time to react before it fell straight to the ground, still with the same cautious expression on its face.

Zhou Quansheng squatted down next to the little monster, reaching his hand towards its head. After a moment, he suddenly sneered, "I knew there was something wrong. How come this guy knows so much?"

Judging from Zhou Quansheng's appearance, he must have already obtained some information, but what exactly did he just do?

Zhou Quansheng didn't intend to hide it from them and took the initiative to explain, "I know a little bit about soul-searching techniques. This guy is indeed a passenger, but what he told us wasn't to help us." As he said this, he turned his head and looked around, "Your teammate is no longer human. He's probably hiding somewhere watching us right now."

Unexpectedly, just as the last words were spoken, a layer of white mist suddenly appeared before their eyes. They had all experienced this white mist before; it was a group of white insects. Now, their cultivation levels had risen considerably, and they could almost immediately discern the true nature of these insects. It was a substance that was difficult to describe; it seemed to exist in this world, yet it didn't.

Wen Zuo said, "Perhaps the game world really is a game framed by a world."

Wen Zuo's voice grew softer and softer until Mo Shuwan could only vaguely hear a few breaths. It wasn't that Wen Zuo's voice had become softer, but rather that they were separated by some kind of substance.

In the enclosed space, only hope remained. Mo Shuwan carefully observed her surroundings and found that this place was very similar to the 304 room she had stayed in before. The only difference was that there was no door here; it was a completely sealed space.

"What do you want to do?"

Mo Shuwan narrowed her eyes and sent out her senses, but they were blocked by some unknown substance in the small room. After trying twice and finding it was all in vain, she stopped and quietly waited for a change to occur.

A painting slowly appeared on the wall. The image was somewhat blurry. Mo Shuwan stared at it for a long time before she could barely recognize that the person lying in the jungle was Yang Zhou without his glasses.

As if sensing that she recognized him, the image suddenly became clear. It was indeed Yang Zhou, but... the Yang Zhou in the painting was alive.

In the scene, Yang Zhou stands up from the jungle in a daze. He looks around and then walks northeast. Mo Shuwan can only see his profile, but even so, she can still make out what he is saying from the shape of his mouth.

He said, "The captain and the others should have left safely, right? Sigh, am I going to become a pawn in this game world like those passengers, destined to be my scapegoat for life?"

Mo Shuwan didn't know if this was a deliberate attempt by an enemy hiding in the shadows to break down her psychological defenses, but now that she could recognize Yang Zhou's lip movements, she had to admit that she had been affected.

Unaware of what was happening, Yang Zhou continued walking forward. Suddenly, the scene changed. A group of passengers got off the time bus and slowly walked into the main hall. They were forced to separate and experienced what Mo Shuwan and the others had experienced. But this time... Yang Zhou appeared in the corner of the main hall of the first small gate.

She watched as Yang Zhou stood there quietly, showing no intention of luring passengers to become his scapegoats. But clearly, he had encountered no ordinary passengers. Mo Shuwan pursed her lips as she watched the passenger slaughter the monsters that appeared around him, a bead of cold sweat dripping from her forehead.
