He then said to the dark-faced guards outside the screen, "Bring the things in."
After the guard left, two maids came in.
He was holding a bowl of bitter-tasting medicine.
"I drank it."
The maid knelt down and handed the medicine to the beautiful woman who was slumped on the ground, looking pitiful.
