Chapter 146 Unable to Distinguish Between Good and Bad
So Wei Yin sat in the private room and waited until after 11 p.m., but did not receive a single message from Yan Kui.
The people in the private room noticed that Mr. Wei's mood was getting increasingly tense, so they unconsciously sped up their drinking.
Wei Yin's expression remained unchanged, and he even had a slight smile on his face, but it was easy for everyone present to realize that he was in a bad mood. No one dared to provoke him, and no one dared to suggest that the meeting end sooner.
Even after the wine was finished, Wei Yin didn't say he was leaving.
The rest of the people started chatting, from work to family, and from family to pets...
Wei Yin remained silent throughout, and the smile on his face quickly faded.
Suddenly, Wei Yin's phone rang.
The chilling aura emanating from him vanished instantly.
Wei Yin picked up his phone and quickly answered the call. Yan Kui's sweet, ingratiating voice came through: "When are you coming back?"
Wei Yin knew immediately that the woman had forgotten about him, but he still replied, "I'll be back soon."
Yan Kui gently said "okay," and then obediently added, "Then don't drink too much alcohol."
"Okay, come back now."
After hanging up the phone, Wei Yin was in a good mood. He stood up and said politely, "Everyone has worked hard. We've had enough to drink today. Go home and rest early."
Everyone stood up: "Yes, Mr. Wei, please go first. It's our honor that you could come today!"
Wei Yin shook hands with the people in the private room and left.
Huang Maomao waited in his car at the hotel entrance. After Wei Yin got in the car, he checked the WeChat message he had sent to Yan Kui around 10 p.m., but she hadn't replied. It was almost midnight when he found out and called to make up for it.
Huang Maomao gripped the steering wheel, glancing at Yin Ge's expression in the rearview mirror, and silently fell silent.
He recognized that expression; that's how Brother Yin looked when he was angry.
I dared not say or ask anything, and stepped on the gas to speed back to the villa.
After making the phone call, Yan Kui was very satisfied with her performance that day. She yawned, turned off the light, found a comfortable spot, and began to drift off to sleep.
When Wei Yin got home, he saw a heartless woman sleeping carelessly in the middle of the bed, even kicking his pillow to the corner of the bed.
Wei Yin was so angry he almost laughed.
I patiently went back to the bathroom and took a shower. When I came out, I didn't even tie a towel around my neck. I just turned on the floor lamp at the far end of the room.
Under the dim light, Wei Yin reached out and gently pressed the back of his hand against her cheek, feeling the soft touch and warm temperature of her skin.
The anger I felt earlier dissipated while I was taking a shower.
Seeing that his seat was taken, Wei Yin resigned himself to walking to the other side. Just as he lay down, Yan Kui felt the mattress move and suddenly opened his eyes.
She silently rolled over, and upon seeing it was Wei Yin, she said softly, "Why are you sleeping in my spot..."
Wei Yin:?
They're even turning the tables on us.
The anger that had subsided surged up again. Since she was awake anyway, she reached out and grabbed Yan Kui's arm, pulling her over.
His tone carried a barely perceptible danger: "Honey, did you forget something today?"
Yan Kui couldn't control her temper any longer: "Why did you wake me up! That bad man never lets me sleep!"
As he spoke, he made a move to push Wei Yin away.
Yan Kui felt she was using a lot of force, but she had just fallen asleep and then woken up again, so she really didn't have much strength left. To Wei Yin, it was no different from being tickled.
Wei Yin was so angry that he laughed out loud: "Yan Kui, can't you tell right from wrong?"
Yan Kui didn't want to talk to him.
"Ignoring people?"
Yan Kui closed her eyes, trying to fall asleep again.
Seeing this, Wei Yin reached out and slipped his large hand inside her waist.
In her hazy state, she couldn't tell whether it was reality or a dream...
