My Crazy Alpha

My Crazy Alpha

The Mercedes-Benz sped along a Swiss country road, the night outside the window as dark as ink. Shao Wei huddled in agony in the back seat, cold sweat soaking his dark hair. Si Qi hugged him tighter, feeling every tremor in his arms like a knife cutting into his heart.

"Hold on a little longer," Si Qi whispered, his lips pressed against Shao Wei's burning temples. "We're almost to safety."

Shao Wei nodded weakly, his fingers weakly grasping Si Qi's collar. His pheromones were terribly chaotic, sometimes as strong as a pine forest in a snowstorm, sometimes as weak as a candle about to go out.

The driver suddenly swerved the steering wheel, and the car veered sharply onto a side road. "We're being followed," he said briefly, pressing the accelerator even harder.

Si Qi looked back and saw through the rain-stained rear window that two black SUVs were closely following each other. The car in front suddenly accelerated, trying to overtake and stop them.

"Hold on!" the driver warned, and then made another sharp turn.

The violent jolt caused Shao Wei to whimper in pain. Si Qi saw a trace of blood oozing from the corner of his mouth, and his anger instantly burned away his rationality. He gently laid Shao Wei flat on the seat: "Wait a moment."

Before the driver could stop him, Si Qi had already rolled down the window and leaned halfway out of the car. The cold rain lashed his face, and he squinted at the approaching SUV. The man in the driver's seat was wearing a mask, but his cold eyes made Si Qi certain—this was Albert's man.

A strange heat surged up his spine and into his brain. Si Qi felt his teeth itch, his jaw tensing uncontrollably. He had never told anyone, not even Shao Wei, that the Si family bloodline carried a rare wolf-type Alpha gene, capable of unleashing a primal savagery in extreme circumstances.

"Mr. Si! Come back!" the driver shouted.

It was too late. The first SUV had already pulled alongside them, the rear window rolled down and a tranquilizer gun extended from its side.

Si Qi's pupils shrank into vertical lines in the darkness. The moment the gun was pointed at the Mercedes-Benz, he did something that shocked everyone—he leaped directly at the SUV!

The sound of shattering glass and screams pierced the night. Siqi pounced into the car like a true wolf, accurately biting the gunman's wrist. His canines were longer and sharper than those of an average Alpha, easily piercing muscle tissue and snapping the wrist bone.

"Ah!" The gunman screamed and the tranquilizer gun fell under the car.

The smell of blood filled his mouth, further fueling Si Qi's ferocity. He heard a low growl emanating from his throat, and his fingernails had unknowingly transformed into sharp claws. The other two people in the car frantically reached for their weapons, but Si Qi was quicker—he ripped the co-pilot's throat with one claw, and as he turned, he stabbed the driver's chest with his other claw.

The SUV lost control and crashed into a roadside tree. Si Qi jumped out of the car just before impact, rolled several times, and quickly got up. The second car braked to a stop, and four heavily armed men rushed out.

The rain washed away the blood on Siqi's face, tinging his vision with a faint red. Reason told him to return to protect Shao Wei, but the savagery boiling in his blood demanded that he kill all threats.

"Target A enters berserk mode!" a pursuer shouted into the communicator, "Repeat, Target A—"

Si Qi didn't let him finish. He pounced on the man with inhuman speed and bit off his throat. Warm blood sprayed on his face, and he felt only a primitive pleasure. The other three fired at the same time, but Si Qi's movements were as fast as a ghost, and the bullets only grazed his shoulder.

The pain further fueled his animal instincts. Siqi felt his bones reorganizing, his muscles swelling, a long-suppressed instinct finally unleashed. He tore through the second pursuer's body armor like a sheet of paper, and as his canines pierced his carotid artery, he tasted fear.

The third man turned to run, but Si Qi leaped up and tackled him from behind. His sharp claws pierced his back and went straight to his heart, and the man died before he could even scream.

The last man stood there trembling, his gun dropped into the mud. "Please... please..." He knelt down, "I'm just following orders..."

Si Qi approached slowly, the rain washing over his blood-stained body. He could tell the man was a Beta, not posing a pheromone threat. Just as he hesitated, a faint call pierced the rain:

"This... period..."

Shao Wei's voice pierced the crimson mist like a beam of light. Si Qi turned his head sharply and saw the Mercedes-Benz parked in the distance, its back door open. Shao Wei leaned weakly against the door, his face as pale as a ghost.

His sanity instantly returned. Si Qi abandoned the paralyzed Beta and rushed towards Shao Wei. As the distance closed, he could smell something amiss—Shao Wei's pheromones were rapidly fading, like a lamp about to run out of fuel.

"Shao Wei!" Si Qi caught his falling body, "What's wrong?"

The driver came running in from the other side. "His pheromone levels are plummeting! We need to—"

Si Qi didn't hear the rest of the words clearly. His entire attention was focused on Shao Wei's pale face. Those eyes, always as calm as a deep pool, were now filled with pain, and his lips were blue from blood loss.

"Siqi..." Shao Wei raised his hand with difficulty and touched his bloody face, "You... are injured..."

"It's not my blood." Si Qi grabbed his hand, "It's those people's. Just hold on, we're almost there—"

"Listen to me..." Shao Wei interrupted him, his voice as soft as a whisper, "Albert...is not the only one...there are also people in your family..."

Before he could finish his words, Shao Wei's eyes suddenly rolled back and his body twitched violently. The driver quickly checked his pulse: "Pheromone breakdown! He needs to be marked immediately!"

Si Qi froze. Temporary marking between Alphas was theoretically impossible, especially when one's pheromones were disrupted. But right now, there was no other choice...

"How?" he hissed.

"The original way!" the driver yelled. "Use your canines to penetrate his glands and inject the most primitive pheromones!"

The rain was getting heavier. Si Qi laid Shao Wei flat on the back seat of the car and leaned over to sniff the burning glands at the back of his neck. Even on the verge of collapse, Shao Wei's pheromones were still as clear as cedar, but mixed with a sickly bitterness.

Si Qi's canine teeth stretched out again, instinct telling him what to do. He held Shao Wei's head with one hand, and his other hand around his waist, and then -

Took a bite.

The moment the canines pierced his skin, Shao Wei's body arched as if electrocuted, and a heart-wrenching scream pierced the night sky. Si Qi didn't let go, but bit deeper, injecting his pheromones into the other's glands through his canines.

This was a primitive, almost barbaric, marking method, one that ordinary Alphas would never tolerate. However, Siqi's wolf-like genes and Shao Wei's unique pheromone disorder produced a miraculous chemical reaction—when the two Alpha pheromones mixed at the deepest level, instead of the expected repulsion, a new balance was formed.

Si Qi felt Shao Wei's pheromones flood into him like a tide, while his own pheromones continued to flow into him. An unprecedented connection was established between the two of them, deeper than any sexual union.

The marking process lasted less than a minute, but it felt like a century. When Si Qi finally released his teeth, both men were sweating and panting. Shao Wei's convulsions stopped, and his face regained some color. Two deep teeth marks on the back of his neck were oozing blood, but the area around the glands began to emit a healthy glow.

"It...works..." the driver muttered in shock.

Si Qi carefully held Shao Wei in his arms and found that his breathing had become much more stable. Most surprising of all, Shao Wei's pheromones were no longer chaotic, but instead took on a completely new scent, somewhere between cedar and cold iron—a perfect fusion of their pheromones.

Shao Wei slowly opened his eyes, his vision much clearer. The first thing he saw was Si Qi's bloodied face, then the wound on the back of his neck. Strangely, he wasn't surprised, but instead smiled knowingly.

"So...it's you..." he said softly.

Si Qi was puzzled: "What?"

"In the garden... the wolf boy who protected me from being bullied..." Shao Wei's voice was soft, but every word was clearly audible. "I always thought... it was a dream..."

Memories flashed through Siqi's mind like lightning. At a banquet when he was twelve, he had indeed spotted several older children bullying a smaller boy in a corner of the garden. His anger had unconsciously triggered some of his wolf-like traits for the first time, scaring off the bullies. But afterward, he thought no one had noticed...

"You remember?" Si Qi couldn't believe it.

Shao Wei nodded slightly: "Later... I kept looking for you... but the family wouldn't allow it..." He coughed a few times, "Until the day of the marriage... I saw your eyes... and I recognized you..."

Si Qi's heart felt like it was being gripped by an invisible hand. It turned out their bond was deeper than he'd imagined, and it turned out Shao Wei's decision to accept this marriage wasn't entirely without emotion...

The driver cleared his throat. “We should get going. The pursuers might have backup.”

Si Qi nodded, carefully placed Shao Wei in the back seat, and sat next to him, letting him lean against him. The car started again and drove into the deep night.

Shao Wei's condition had improved significantly, but he was still weak. His fingers unconsciously twirled a lock of Siqi's hair, just as they had done in the garden when they were little.

"Your teeth..." he whispered, "are just as sharp as they were then..."

Si Qi suddenly felt uneasy: "Aren't you... afraid?"

Shao Wei shook his head and leaned closer to his neck: "If it's you... I'm not afraid..."

These words were like a key that opened a locked box in Si Qi's heart. He lowered his head and kissed Shao Wei's forehead, finding that his pheromones blended perfectly with his own, forming a reassuring atmosphere.

After about an hour's drive, a lakeside manor came into view. The name "Rose Manor" lived up to its name—even on a rainy night like this, one could see the courtyard was filled with roses of all colors. The iron gates opened automatically, and the car drove straight in, stopping in front of the main building.

A white-haired old man stood waiting on the porch, flanked by two armed bodyguards. Si Qi immediately recognized him as Shao Wei's grandfather, the true ruler of the Shao family.

"Bring him in." The old man said briefly, his eyes lingering on Siqi's bloodstained clothes for a second. "You both need to clean up. Then we can talk."

A servant helped Shao Wei into a wheelchair—though he was out of danger, he still needed rest to recover from the weakened state following the inscription. Si Qi followed closely behind, observing his surroundings warily. The manor's interior was classically luxurious, but the most striking feature was the series of photographs on the wall—one of which was a striking picture of a young Shao Wei and another boy in the garden.

"That's you." The old man noticed Siqi's gaze, "After we first met, Xiaowei looked for you for a long time."

Si Qi frowned: "You know we know each other? Then why-"

"Why did you agree to this experimental marriage?" The old man sneered, "Because I need to confirm whether the connection between you is strong enough to resist what those lunatics want to impose on you."

They arrived at a warm study, where a servant placed Shao Wei on a bench by the fireplace and covered him with a blanket. The old man motioned for Si Qi to sit down, then pressed a button on the desk. The wall slid open, revealing a hidden safe.

"The truth about Project A-Ω." The old man pulled out a folder, "and the method to cure Shao Wei."

Si Qi eagerly took the document and quickly skimmed through it. As he read, his expression shifted from shock to anger, finally settling on a complex determination.

"We're designed..." his voice cracked, "from birth?"

The old man nodded. "It's not just you. For decades, several families have been secretly breeding Alphas with special genes, trying to create the so-called 'perfect warrior'. The forced marking control among Alphas is only the first step."

Shao Wei spoke weakly: "Grandfather... why didn't you tell me earlier..."

"I need you to fall in love with him naturally." The old man looked at Siqi, "not because you know it's 'fate'. True love is the key to resisting control."

Si Qi recalled the bloody and primitive marking process, and the magical fusion of their pheromones afterwards: "So the cure is..."

"Complete marking." The old man looked him straight in the eye. "Not a temporary mark, but a mark on the soul level. Theoretically, it's impossible between Alphas, unless..." He looked at Shao Wei, "unless one party is willing to completely surrender."

The room fell silent. The flames from the fireplace danced on the faces of the three men. Finally, Shao Wei chuckled softly, "I have always been...his..."

Si Qi's heart began to beat violently. He walked over to Shao Wei, knelt down, and took his cold hand. "No need for surrender. What we need is an equal exchange." He looked at the old man. "The ancient ritual of the wolf-type Alpha—the blood covenant. It's not one party marking the other, but both parties marking each other."

The old man's eyes lit up: "Do you know what this means? The risk is huge-"

"But we have no choice," Si Qi said firmly, turning to Shao Wei. "Will you trust me? One last time?"

Shao Wei didn't answer immediately. He raised his hand, gently stroking Si Qi's still-sharp canines, then the corner of his bloodstained lips. Finally, in the warm glow of the fireplace, he leaned forward and kissed that bloody and wild thing.

This kiss is the best answer.
