Chapter 51 Ordinary Lunch

Chapter 51 Ordinary Lunch

Qiu Nian saw that Qiu Fang and Qiu Yue had said it, so she also said boldly: "Master, I also want to do business."

After Qiu Nian finished speaking, she originally thought that her master would not agree, but unexpectedly, Zhao Lingmeng turned around and gave her a silver note of ten thousand taels without saying a word.

"I've just told you what you need to do, and now you have to do it. But I have to remind you that you and Qiufang must not fight among yourselves, or I'll be very angry."

Qiufang and Qiunian both immediately saluted and said, "Yes!"

"What about you, Qiuhua?" Zhao Lingmeng set her sights on Qiuhua.

"Master, I want to know the news." Qiuhua said excitedly. She was very curious about all kinds of gossip.

"Okay, I agree. You will be responsible for all news inside and outside the mansion. In addition, the four of you will still occupy the positions of head maids in front of me, and there is no need to promote you from below. And Qiudong and the other four will also take the share of head maids and serve me first." Zhao Lingmeng was also very easy to talk to.

"Yes, thank you, Master." Qiuyue and the other four were very happy. They could do what they liked from now on. Perhaps the only thing that made them unhappy was that for some reason, the Master suddenly remembered and wanted to find husbands for them. This was really not good news.

"Mom, what are we having for lunch?" Qiuyue and the others had just finished their greetings and stood up when they heard the voice of the second young master, Sun Qiming.

Before Qiuyue and the others could say anything, they saw Sun Qiming running in with his short legs. The eldest young master, Sun Qijing, followed closely behind and also walked in quickly.

Sun Qiming and Sun Qijing originally wanted to rush over and hug their mother's thighs, because this is what the two brothers like to do the most recently.

As a result, they both saw that several of their mother's capable aunts were there. Sun Qiming was standing not far from their mother waiting for his brother. When Sun Qijing arrived, they both bowed together and said, "Greetings to mother!"

"Get up!" Zhao Lingmeng said as he waved to the two of them.

When Sun Qiming and Sun Qijing saw Zhao Lingmeng's actions, they stood up at the same time, ran over with their short legs, and each of them hugged one of Zhao Lingmeng's legs and rubbed it, like two puppies.

Seeing that his mother didn't separate them today, Sun Qiming happily looked up at Zhao Lingmeng and said, "Mom, what's delicious for lunch?"

Although Sun Qijing didn't say anything, he looked up at Zhao Lingmeng, his eyes full of curiosity.

Zhao Lingmeng looked at the two little guys who she had raised to be foodies, and felt so accomplished that she couldn't help but reach out and touch their heads.

"We're having mushroom stewed chicken for lunch. I guarantee it's so delicious you two will even be able to eat your tongues. Can you two go down and wash your hands first?"

As soon as Zhao Lingmeng finished speaking, she saw the two brothers immediately let go and ran away, shouting as they ran: "Mammy, wash your hands."

Zhao Lingmeng could only say with a smile: "You little bastard."

Qiuyue and the others who were watching all this felt that it was a good thing not to get married. Raising children was too difficult. Look at how much effort the master must have put into preparing all the food and toys to take care of the two young masters!

Zhao Lingmeng sent the two little guys away, then looked at the people waiting for his orders and calmly said:

"Alright, all of you go get busy! Qiuyue told everyone to prepare lunch. These two little guys have been playing all morning, so they must be hungry."

"Yes! We will take our leave." Qiuyue and the others bowed together, then walked out with the account book.

As soon as the four of them left, Nanny Wu came in with Sun Qijing and his brother, who had washed their hands. As soon as Sun Qiming saw Zhao Lingmeng, he broke free from Nanny Wu's hand and ran towards Zhao Lingmeng, "Mom, when will dinner be served? I'm starving."

Zhao Lingmeng stretched out a foot, caught the little guy, and teased him, "Really? How come Mommy didn't see that you were hungry at all! Mommy saw you running so fast, so she thought you weren't hungry yet!"

Sun Qiming took the opportunity to hold Zhao Lingmeng's outstretched foot, and did not forget to argue for himself: "I'm hungry, brother is hungry too." After Sun Qiming finished speaking, he turned his head to look at Sun Qijing.

Sun Qijing obediently let Aunt Wu lead him. Seeing his brother's efforts to eat, he couldn't help but nodded softly. Then, afraid that his words were not convincing enough, he added, "Mom, I'm hungry too."

Zhao Lingmeng reached out and took Sun Qiming's hand, then pulled the obedient Sun Qijing over. She bent down to ask for their opinions and said, "Okay, then the three of us will go to the bed to check on our brother, and then we'll have lunch, okay?"

They hadn't seen their brother for the whole morning and were missing the little one a little bit, so they both nodded happily.

Seeing that the brothers had agreed, Zhao Lingmeng led them gently into the inner room. She placed her hand to her mouth, gesturing for silence. The three of them, like thieves, crept in, their heads peering from the bedside.

Sun Qiyang, a little over three months old, was lying on his bed, his hands raised, sound asleep, bubbles blowing from his mouth. Zhao Lingmeng was watching intently when she felt someone tug at her skirt. She looked down and saw it was Sun Qiming.

Zhao Lingmeng looked at him and asked what was wrong. Sun Qiming could only helplessly point to the bed in front of him, then to himself. Zhao Lingmeng understood and almost laughed out loud, but she was afraid that Sun Qiming would get angry and embarrassed, so she held back and picked up Sun Qiming.

They watched like this for a while, until Zhao Lingmeng felt that her hands were about to break, so she had to let Sun Qiming down. She tugged at Sun Qijing's sleeve and pointed outside. The three of them tiptoed out again.

Nanny Wu didn't follow them the entire time, instead helping Qiuyue and the others set the dishes. She was delighted to see her young lady playing with the two young masters. It seemed as if after this near-death experience, the young lady had returned to her pre-married personality. She was much more energetic, and Nanny Wu thought to herself, "How wonderful!"

"Wow, so many delicious foods." As soon as Sun Qiming saw the food, he let go of Zhao Lingmeng's hand and ran away. Sun Qijing, on the other hand, although there was also desire in his eyes, still obediently let his mother lead him and walk slowly.

Even in Sun Qijing's heart, he liked the feeling of his mother holding his hand alone. Even though it was only for a moment, he felt very happy.

Sun Qiming ran over and asked Aunt Wu to carry him to his own special chair and sit him down. After waiting for a while, seeing that his mother and brother had not arrived yet, he shouted at the top of his voice: "Mom, brother, hurry up."

"Here you are, little guy, you only know how to eat." Zhao Lingmeng could only respond helplessly.
