Chapter 52 Sun Qijing and Sun Qiyang quarreled again
After Zhao Lingmeng finished answering Sun Qiming's words, he picked up Sun Qijing and walked to the dining table in a few steps. He placed Sun Qijing in his own dining chair and immediately sat down next to him.
Looking at the chicken soup in front of her, with a few mushrooms floating on top, the soup was golden and translucent, and it looked delicious. She took a sip with a spoon, and this original chicken soup was so delicious.
The two little ones saw their mother drink and followed her example, taking a sip. After they finished, their eyes lit up. For a moment, the table was filled with the sound of two children waving their spoons.
"Mom, this mushroom is delicious and smooth." Sun Qiming stared at the chicken in the pot with sparkling eyes while eating.
Sun Qijing also nodded in agreement. He also liked today's dish, especially the rice in chicken soup, with the slippery mushrooms and tender meat, which was particularly fragrant.
"Mom, can we eat this tonight?" Sun Qijing asked his mother.
Zhao Lingmeng used the serving chopsticks to pick up some mushrooms and meat for the two brothers, then replied seriously, "That won't work. There are no chickens left in the kitchen. If you want to eat, you'll have to ask someone to buy some chickens tomorrow."
As soon as Zhao Lingmeng finished speaking, she saw that the Sun Qijing brothers ate faster, as if they wanted to eat enough in one go.
Zhao Lingmeng thought to herself that she should manage her own business well. They say that half-grown boys can eat their fathers out of money. Looking at the two brothers eating their meals, Zhao Lingmeng felt that she would soon be eaten out of money.
"You two, slow down. The duck for dinner is also delicious. Have your favorite roast duck." Zhao Lingmeng could only add helplessly, thinking that the ducks on his farm were almost eaten up recently.
As expected, the two boys were immediately delighted when Zhao Lingmeng said this. Although there were many delicious dishes at their mother's place, their favorite was roast duck. They wanted to eat it every now and then anyway. If their mother didn't think it was troublesome to make, they would want to eat it every meal. It was their favorite.
The three of them had a satisfying lunch together, and then collapsed on their chairs in the same posture. Three people living together would be surprisingly consistent in some of their behaviors.
"What are you two going to do down there?" Zhao Lingmeng asked a little bored.
"I want to take a nap first, then play some jigsaw puzzles, and then wait for dinner." Sun Qiming actively planned his afternoon. Ever since Sun Tu took them to learn to read after dinner every day, Sun Qiming fell in love with the jigsaw puzzle game and played it every afternoon.
"I want to take a nap and then go see my aunt. I haven't seen her for several days. After seeing my son, I will come back for dinner." Sun Qijing also spoke seriously about his plan.
"Okay, you two can go back to your rooms and take a nap! Your mother and I will go to accompany the third child to sleep for a while. If you have something to do in the afternoon, you can play by yourselves. Don't come here for dinner. Just ask the people around you to pass on the message to me."
When Sun Qijing and Sun Qiming heard their mother say this, they slowly stood up, bowed solemnly and said, "Son, take your leave." Then the two children left together.
Zhao Lingmeng quietly entered the inner room, took off her outer clothes and shoes, and fell asleep next to Sun Qiyang. Perhaps this body was still too weak. After a short busy time, she was exhausted. She didn't have the energetic feeling she had in her previous life after staying up all night.
Meanwhile, Sun Qijing and Sun Qiming went out together. When they were about to say goodbye at their respective doors, Sun Qijing suddenly called out to Sun Qiming, "Second brother!"
"Brother, what's the matter?" Sun Qiming stopped and turned to look at Sun Qijing in confusion.
"I just want to ask, do you want to go with me to see my aunt later?" Sun Qijing looked at his younger brother with expectant eyes.
"Heh." Sun Qiming sneered. At this moment, Sun Qiming did not behave like a two-year-old child.
"Second brother?" Why are you looking at me like that?
"I call you brother because I think you are a good person. But if you want to go and see Sun Yue, you don't have to call me. I won't go." Sun Qiming approached Sun Qijing and said in a low voice.
To outsiders, they looked like two close-knit kids, whispering to each other. No one would have guessed they were so close to falling out.
"That's my aunt, an elder. How can you call her by her name?" Sun Qijing was shocked and angry, his ears turned red.
"That's not the case for me. It's not just Sun Yue, it's the same for Zhou. I'll always remember how they treated me. Sun Qijing, I don't mind you visiting them. That's because I'm generous. But I'm such a good person. I don't think you're worthy of being her son."
After Sun Qiming finished speaking, he swung his sleeves and walked away angrily. He was angry with his elder brother again. He was not a man of small temper.
Sun Qijing was left there in a daze. He had only asked a question, yet he had received such a long lecture from Sun Qiming. He was really a little angry, but he really couldn't just take care of his mother like his second brother did. Sun Qijing's little mind was extremely entangled.
"Young Master, let's go in and sleep first!" Qiuyue saw that the eldest young master had been standing at the door in a daze, looking at the second young master's room, not knowing what he was thinking. Qiuyue went forward and coaxed the eldest young master softly. She was also afraid that the two of them would have a quarrel.
"Yeah." Sun Qijing responded softly and walked into his room.
When the waiters had all gone, Sun Qijing could only cry in his quilt. He knew that he was forcing many things. He wanted his mother, aunt, and grandmother to live well. He thought his mother seemed to have forgiven his father, and also his grandmother and aunt, but it seemed that he was the only one caught in the middle.
Neither his mother nor his brother would forgive them. Moreover, today he saw the overwhelming hatred in his second brother's eyes, which made him doubt once again whether what he did was right.
But he was a child after all, and after crying for a while he got tired and fell asleep. When he woke up, he asked the servants to help him wash up, and then he walked slowly to find his aunt.
I haven't visited my aunt since my grandmother left, and I wonder if she's doing well in the mansion. Sun Qijing thought as he walked.
Zhao Lingmeng hadn't realized that the two brothers, whom she thought were on good terms, had quarreled again while she was asleep. Anyway, she woke up feeling refreshed after a good nap. She could also play with the third brother, Sun Qiyang, for a while. She had finished her work for the day anyway, so she just planned to play with the kids at Yixinyuan.
But she didn't tease him for a while, Qiuyue came in and said, "Princess"
"What's the matter? Just tell me!" Zhao Lingmeng turned Sun Qiyang, who had finally turned over, back over while looking at Qiuyue's expression.
