Chapter 13 Let Chen Chu deliver the food.
Today's breakfast was still pork wontons, cooked by Xiao Cui.
"These are wontons that Miss Ye froze in the refrigerator. She injured her hand and asked me to cook them for you."
Xiao Cui brought the wontons to Lin Feiyan and added, following Ye Qingning's instructions, "Miss Ye said you have a bad stomach, so you must eat breakfast."
Lin Feiyan paused in his action of holding the spoon: "Cook one for her and send it up."
Judging from the surveillance footage, Ye Qingning did not do anything and stayed by his side quietly all night.
Luckily, she didn't do anything, otherwise he would have shown her what would happen if she dared to try to outsmart him!
"Okay," Xiao Cui replied and quickly went into the kitchen.
After breakfast, Lin Feiyan returned to his study to work, and Ye Qingning did not come down until noon.
So when Xiao Cui brought him coffee, he asked, "Has lunch been prepared?"
Xiao Cui was taken aback, feeling indignant. "Sir, this is too cold-blooded!"
Miss Lin is injured and you still expect her to prepare lunch?
Could it be that they really treat Miss Lin like a maid?
But she dared not speak out against her anger, and could only respectfully reply, "I'll go ask Miss Lin."
"Never mind," Lin Feiyan coldly ordered, "Have Chen Chu deliver the food."
Xiao Cui agreed, "Okay."
"No spicy food, something milder."

After the study door closed, Lin Feiyan raised his hand and rubbed his temples.
Why did he order Chen Chu to deliver the food? And why did he specifically request that it not be spicy?

Before Lin Feiyan could figure these things out, his phone received a message from Lin Younan: "Brother, Mom invited you and sister-in-law to dinner at 7 pm tonight. Qingxue and I will also be there."

Although he couldn't understand why Ye Qingning's attitude had changed in the past two days, he figured that if he put her in front of more people, her true purpose would be exposed.

What she urgently needs to do right now is to gain favor and save her life.
There's no need to ask for anything else.
Thinking this, Ye Qingning came downstairs on time to prepare lunch, but Xiao Cui told her that Lin Feiyan had instructed Chen Chu to deliver the meal.
"Miss Ye, the master knows you're injured, and he's probably worried about you overworking yourself," Xiao Cui said with a smile. "He even specifically asked that today's meal be light and not spicy."
Ye Qingning gave an awkward laugh. She didn't believe that the man was preventing her from cooking because he was worried about her injury.
Considering her attitude towards Lin Feiyan that morning, Ye Qingning suspected that the man was angry.
It just so happened to be coffee delivery time, so she took the initiative to prepare the coffee and deliver it.
The door opened, and the man was still handling official business, his thin lips tightly pursed, his eyes cold and indifferent.
"Mr. Lin, your coffee." Ye Qingning placed the coffee in its usual spot on the corner of the table and tentatively asked, "Why did you have Chen Chu deliver lunch today?"
Lin Feiyan looked up at her and immediately noticed the cautiousness in her eyes.
Hasn't she always been composed these past two days?
