Chapter 60 Idle Affairs

After Anle Medicinal Cuisine Restaurant reopened, Jiang Bai called Tian Rou over to become the acting store manager.

Seeing Jiang Cheng pick her up and drop her off at work every day, rain or shine, and then help take care of the children when they got home, Jiang Bai actually began to understand Tian Rou a little: Isn't this the model for finding a gigolo in the future?

Jiang Cheng is handsome and obedient. Although he is lazy and loves to eat, Tian Rou has an older brother. If he doesn't listen to her, he can just beat him up!

Jiangbai reopened, and there was one person who was happiest—Wang Linlin.

She had been taking Jiang Bai's medicinal cuisine for more than half a year, and her health had improved considerably. After Jiang Bai closed the shop, he even met with her to explain in detail the things she should pay attention to in the future.

At that point, even if the medicinal diet was stopped, it would not endanger her life, so Wang Linlin did not continue taking it.

On the day Jiang Bai opened, Wang Linlin also asked General Lin Yong to send her a pair of stone lions to ward off evil spirits, and then continued to set up her daily medicinal diet plan.

The young couple, unaware of Lin Yong's identity, pouted and whispered in Jiang Bai's side, "What does it mean that he sent a stone lion? Is he trying to take over our jobs?"

Those aren't all standing at the door greeting guests.

Jiang Bai couldn't help but chuckle and said, "Don't worry, you will always be the most important people in my heart."

Jiang Bai didn't expect that nothing would happen at the medicinal cuisine restaurant, but something would happen at the milk tea shop.

When she rushed over, she saw Wang Xiufen's face and felt a little unfamiliar for a moment. She was stunned for a moment, then stepped forward and stopped the other woman from pulling on Tian Rou's hand.

Wang Xiufen didn't even have time to see who was holding her back, and kept ramming into Tian Rou: "You must have used some tricks, otherwise this milk tea shop would definitely belong to my son, why would Jiang Bai want you..."

Jiang Bai laughed in anger upon hearing this.

She released Wang Xiufen, crossed her arms, and said coldly, "Who I want to bring over is none of your business, is it?"

Wang Xiufen stopped moving when she heard her daughter's voice. She stiffened and looked over. Seeing Jiang Bai's cold expression, she couldn't help but force a fawning smile.

Jiang Bai asked, "What are you doing here?"

Wang Xiufen opened her mouth, but didn't know how to start.

She had heard Jiang Cheng and Tian Rou say that Jiang Bai's business was very large, and she immediately regretted the incident when they broke off their relationship, which caused such a big fuss.

Tian Rou advised her again: "Mother, although you have severed ties with your sister, Jiang Cheng has not. Jiang Cheng is still her brother. You must be careful when you get along with your sister. You can't cause any more trouble. Judging from your sister's personality, if you continue to cause trouble, even Jiang Cheng will not be able to get better."

Wang Xiufen only cared about her son her whole life. Her greatest pain and regret was that she was unable to support him and he had to marry into another family. The thought that it might ruin her son's future made her immediately stop.

Tian Rou was very resourceful and quickly got closer to Jiang Bai. Wang Xiufen was happily daydreaming at home every day, thinking that Jiang Bai was about to make Jiang Cheng rich. However, when she went to see her grandson a few days ago, she found that Jiang Cheng was at home taking care of the child, while Tian Rou went to Jiang Bai's milk tea shop instead.

That won't do!

Tian Rou is a woman. How can a woman run a good shop? In this world, men are superior to women, and men are more reliable than women.

Wang Xiufen resented Tian Rou for being so shameless as to steal her son's opportunity. Jiang Cheng spoke to her for a while, looking dejected, and she immediately came over, still indignant.

Seeing Jiang Bai's cold face, Wang Xiufen mustered her courage and said, "Jiang Bai, your shop needs help, why don't you ask your younger brother to come over?"

Jiang Bai raised an eyebrow: "This is none of your business."

Wang Xiufen said awkwardly, "I'm still your mother, and it's one thing for you to side with outsiders..."

Jiang Bai nodded: "Actually, when I gave you the money, I knew this day would come. After all, I was born of you, and our blood ties can't be severed. You've been able to endure this for longer than I thought..."

Hearing this, Wang Xiufen's smile gradually widened.

Jiang Bai said, "Since you are my mother, I can take your opinion into consideration. You don't want Tian Rou to work here anymore, right?"

Wang Xiufen nodded vigorously.

Jiang Bai turned to Tian Rou and said, "Settle your wages and go home after today. You don't need to come back."

Tian Rou smiled wryly: "Okay."

Jiang Bai clapped his hands: "It's alright, let's disperse."

After what happened, Tian Rou wasn't in the mood to wait until she got off work. She straightened her clothes, which had been wrinkled by Wang Xiufen, and calmly asked, "Mom, shall I take you home?"

Wang Xiufen was in a great mood because she didn't expect Jiang Bai to be so obedient. Upon hearing this, she followed Tian Rou outside.

As she walked, she subtly warned Tian Rou: "From now on, you must remember to respect your husband. If Jiang Cheng succeeds in running the milk tea shop, you, as his wife, will definitely benefit as well..."

“Mother,” Tian Rou interrupted her with an incredulous look, “What are you thinking? Jiang Bai told me to leave, but she didn’t say that Jiang Cheng could go. What she means is that she doesn’t want either of them.”

Wang Xiufen's eyes widened in surprise, and she exclaimed, "How is this possible?"

She desperately tried to recall Jiang Bai's words, and her steps gradually came to a stop.

—It seems, indeed, apparently, definitely, Jiang Bai did not say anything about asking Jiang Cheng to go and help.

She froze, grabbed Tian Rou's hand, and turned back to find Jiang Bai.

This time, her steps were no longer light and quick; her small feet walked faster and faster, and Tian Rou was pulled along by her, looking helpless.

Wang Xiufen hurriedly walked back and called out to the young girl at the counter who was greeting customers, "Where's Jiang Bai? Tell her to come out, I need to see her."

The little girl had just witnessed that farce, and she pursed her lips at Wang Xiufen and Tian Rou, rolling her eyes as if she wanted to roll them to the top of her head.

She lowered her head and wrote down the customer's order, muttering, "Manager Jiang, I don't know where it is. It was just here. Look for it yourself."

Wang Xiufen was both angry and anxious, and was suddenly enraged. She pointed at the little girl's nose and shouted, "What kind of attitude is this? I'm her mother. I'll kick you out the moment I see you!"

The young girl flung the order book in her hand, put her hands on her hips, and said, "Let's see who can kick me out! Someone's causing trouble, get her out of here."

Several men immediately surrounded her and dragged Wang Xiufen away.

Wang Xiufen cursed and swung her body, but the men were too strong, their arms as big as bears', and they easily lifted her by the hands and feet and carried her away.

The little girl stared blankly at Wang Xiufen, but after seeing her thrown outside the shop, she picked up her expression again and smiled broadly at the customer in front of her: "What would you like to order?"

The guest stammered, "What...what do you think..."

"Why are you making that face? I won't bully you. You can order whatever you want!" the little girl said reproachfully.
