Chapter 87 Jumping off the Building

When the heavy rain came outside the window, Wen Hangxing was doing homework in the warm room, so he did not take quick action to avoid the risk at the beginning of the rain.

An indescribable feeling of depression and nausea surged in his heart, and the air was filled with a damp and cold smell that made him almost vomit.

With a loud rumble, a low, hoarse cry echoed through the cold, dark sky. Wen Hangxing's ears heard the sound clearly, and his face paled. A black line suddenly appeared on the originally neat white paper, abruptly destroying the beauty.

This sound was like a notification before the start. The thunder became louder and louder, and the intervals between them became shorter and shorter. Wen Hangxing's handsome face looked a little ferocious. He stared at the exercise book in front of him, but overlapping figures appeared in front of him, tall, short, fat, and thin. They all stared at him viciously, as if they were evaluating a piece of goods, so disgusting.

Wen Hangxing saw them approaching him with a fierce grin, and suddenly swept his hands fiercely, and the objects on the table were instantly swept to the ground with a shattering sound. Wen Hangxing's eyes were red, as if he was in endless pain, "Get out, get out!"

His eyes fell on the exercise book in his hand. He suddenly jumped up and tore the book into pieces with great force. With a wave of his hand, snow-white scraps of paper fell like snowflakes. Wen Hangxing watched, and a sense of satisfaction and excitement suddenly rose in his heart, like the pleasure of having his nerves tortured.

Suddenly, a voice that was obviously rude but gentle rang in his ears, "Wen Hangxing, you're picky about food again! I'm going to complain to Aunt Wang!"

Wen Hangxing's eyes became clearer, and he looked at the mess in the room and his mind collapsed.

The phone in the bag rang, indicating that it was Lin Yitang calling. Wen Hangxing curled up his slender fingers and did not move, letting the ringtone disappear and the screen go dark.

The panic in Wen Hangxing's heart was like a river rushing into the sea, mighty and fierce. A voice in his mind kept saying, "Look, you can't control yourself at all. If she sees this when she comes back, she'll hate you."

"No, no! She said no!" The corners of Wen Hangxing's mouth turned abnormally purple, but he still retorted.

"Yes, who doesn't like an obedient and polite child? You are a bad boy, that's why you get beaten and why you are so unpopular."

Wen Hangxing's eyes gradually became dim, and his heart, which had been as solid as a rock, began to waver, leaning towards the dark abyss.

"Hide, I want to hide." This was the only thought in Wen Hangxing's mind. "As long as I hide, I won't see the disappointment on her face. Yes, hide."

There was a knock on the door, and the housekeeper's anxious and worried voice rang out: "Master? Are you okay?"

Wen Hangxing's eyes suddenly changed, sharp as a sharp blade, staring straight at the door. The housekeeper, who hadn't heard any sound for a long time, became even more anxious and did something extremely inappropriate. He began to arrange for people to break open the closed bedroom door.

Listening to the noisy sounds outside, Wen Hangxing seemed to fall into emotional misunderstanding again. He was like a seriously injured lion that had to retreat. He did not approach the door. Instead, the moment the door lock opened with a "click", he retreated to the balcony and jumped down.

"Young Master!" The butler pushed the door open and saw this scene. His voice was sharp and high-pitched, and his eyes almost burst open.

Wen Hangxing fell into the flowers. The second floor was neither too high nor too low. Although a straight jump wouldn't cause any serious injuries, it would still leave some scratches. Wen Hangxing lay in the flowers, letting the rain flow freely on his face.

The housekeeper's hurried voice echoed from the courtyard, one after another. Everyone in the courtyard seemed to be mobilized. Wen Hangxing frowned in annoyance, and in his heart he gave up the will to live. "Why not just die here? I won't cause any more trouble."

His face was sticky, and it was hard to tell whether it was rain or tears. Wen Hangxing was only wearing a thin T-shirt and was shivering under the cold rain.

"Young Master, Madam is looking for you. Where are you?" Another shout came from the manor. Wen Hangxing's eyes turned slowly. Lin Yitong was looking for him. He couldn't die, at least not today.

Wen Hangxing struggled to stand up. He felt a piercing pain in his feet, but he seemed to be completely unaffected and walked towards the dance studio that Lin Yitong often went to.

The dance studio was quite large, with a dedicated practice area and a lounge. Wen Hangxing didn't turn on the lights, and despite the pain in his body, he walked into the lounge.

The lounge was designed entirely to Lin Yitang's liking, with a light blue background and yellow curtains, creating a youthful, forest-like atmosphere. It also seemed to be filled with traces of Lin Yitang's life. On the table lay her uneaten fruit and her favorite potted grass plant, which Wen Hangxing had previously mocked. On the sofa lay two or three of her coats, delicately scented with jasmine.

Wen Hangxing curled up his tall body on the sofa, draped all of Lin Yitang's clothes over himself, and buried his face in the dry clothes, like a wandering chick finally returning to its nest. His expression was filled with unconcealable attachment and dependence, and he finally fell into a deep sleep.

Lin Yitang returned home and looked at the chaotic house. His heart tightened and he grabbed the housekeeper and asked, "Have you found Wen Hangxing?"

The butler looked guilty, "We're looking. Sorry, ma'am. We haven't found the young master yet."

Lin Yitang's legs went limp, and she fell against Wen Zeli. Behind her, Wen Zeli quickly grabbed her waist and pulled her up. Then, looking at the housekeeper next to him, he ordered, "Go to the security department and get some people to search immediately. Don't miss any corner of the manor."

"yes."

Lin Yitang said firmly, "I'll go too."

Wen Zeli did not stop her, knowing that she would not rest at ease at this time, so he said: "I will go with you."

Where is he? Lin Yitang's mind raced to think of the places where Wen Hangxing usually went. He searched everywhere but couldn't find him. If he wasn't in the house, could he be outside?

Lin Yitang paused and exchanged glances with Wen Zeli behind him. The two changed direction and walked towards the garden, intending to visit her dance studio first.

The dance studio was pitch black. Lin Yitang called Wen Hangxing's name several times outside the door, but heard no response. The two walked in again and found a faint light coming through the gap in the closed door of the lounge.

Arriving here, Lin Yitang was a little hesitant to open the door. She was afraid to face Wen Hangxing like that. No, it couldn't be said that she was afraid, she was just very distressed. She was so distressed that she didn't know how to treat that young man who should be full of vigor and energy, but was suffering and heartbroken.
