Chapter 128 Finding the Child

"It would be bad if the old lady wakes up the child. We just want the family to come over to identify the child. We hope you will cooperate with us." The conductor didn't want to continue to argue. Since talking in a gentle manner didn't work, he could only enforce it.

The family members came over quickly. After a night of tossing and turning, the woman's face was pale and her eyes were dim. She seemed to have accepted the reality, but she still forced herself to come over to check. Every last look gave her more hope.

"This is my child!" The woman went up to grab the child. The child's shoes had not been changed yet. When she first looked for him, the child's head was facing outwards and he was wearing a wig. The old lady also wrapped the child in clothes, so the shoes could not be seen.

After the abnormality investigation, the old lady relaxed her vigilance and did not take it seriously. She did not expect that the second investigation would start so soon.

The old lady held the child tightly and refused to let go, refusing to admit it. "Don't talk nonsense, girl. This is my granddaughter, how can she be your son? If your eyes are not good, go get treatment."

The child's face was covered by the old lady, and the woman could not see the child's face clearly, but her strong sixth sense told her that this must be her child.

"Xingxing, I'm your mother!" The woman's voice was filled with heartache. Her husband had originally planned to pick them up and take them back to Beijing, but the college entrance examination had just been resumed and the school still had a lot of things to deal with. She felt sorry for her husband and was afraid of wasting his time.

So she took it upon herself to take the child to Kyoto. She was very careful along the way, but she didn't expect to fall asleep at night. When she touched the child in the middle of the night, she found that the child was missing. Her heart skipped a beat and she quickly woke up. She ran out to look for him, but how could she find him alone? Fortunately, the conductor came to help.

But the child in the old lady's arms didn't react at all and continued to sleep soundly. This shouldn't have happened. The noise around them was incredibly loud, and yet the child still hadn't woken up. The only possibility was...

Soon more train attendants rushed over, and the old lady realized the seriousness of the situation, but she was still fighting hard.

The conductor quickly snatched the child away, opened the jacket, and saw that the hair was fake. The child didn't respond at all when he called out.

"Stars, these are my stars." The woman's expression was filled with joy. She held the child in her arms and cried and shouted, but the child still did not move.

"What's going on?" The woman's voice was choked with sobs and fear.

The old lady gritted her teeth and said nothing. The conductor had no way to stop her and was ready to hand her over to the public security authorities at the next stop.

The child has most likely been drugged, but it is still better to send him to the hospital for examination as soon as possible.

"And that guy, they are in the same group!" The righteous man just now pointed at the man with shifty eyes outside and said.

The man was outside the crowd, secretly watching the noisy scene inside with an evasive look.

The conductor saw him at a glance and was about to go over to catch him, but with a "bang", the man jumped out of the window and escaped, and the broken glass splattered everywhere.

The train was moving very fast, but you could see the man jump onto the open ground and lie motionless.

The old lady was also startled. Without waiting for the conductor to react, she ran to the window and looked out. Her son was limping away into the distance.

She felt mixed emotions at the moment. Did her son no longer care about her?

The train crew quickly contacted local law enforcement agencies and made the arrest.

The woman, holding the child, almost knelt down to thank the conductor, but the conductor refused to accept her gesture and, supporting her, said, "You're thanking the wrong person. You should have written down the name of the woman who informed us that your child was missing and told us how to investigate."

The conductor led the woman and child to Song Zhi. The woman's tears flowed again, and her gratitude was beyond words.

Song Zhi was very happy to see her find the child, but she did not accept her thanks. She smiled and said, "It's enough as long as the child is found."

"Thank you, thank you. If it weren't for you, the child might not be found." The woman kept thanking him. Song Zhi looked at the child in her arms and asked her to sit down and relax.

"I just did what I could, and I didn't help much, so you don't have to be so polite." Song Zhi said with a smile.

"This may be a simple task for you, but it saved my child. May I ask your name, benefactor?"

"I can't bear the title of benefactor. My surname is Song, my name is Zhi, and this is my son, nicknamed Panpan. Since we are about the same age, just call me Song Zhi." Song Zhi was a little at a loss seeing her being so polite.

"Song Zhi, my name is Wen Wan, and this is my son Xingxing, the star of the five-star red flag." If she didn't have a child in her arms, Wen Wan might have held her hand tightly and wouldn't let go. She couldn't hide the gratitude on her face. Even though Song Zhi said not to worry about it, finding the child just now was like being reborn for her. If the child couldn't be found, it was hard to imagine how devastated she would be.

"Wen Wan, that's a nice name, and the child lives up to her name. You get off at the next stop and take the child to see a doctor. He hasn't woken up yet." Song Zhi looked at the child in her arms, who was motionless and sleeping soundly. The noisy sounds outside could not affect him. Song Zhi was more or less worried.

Panpan had woken up a long time ago, looking around with his eyes wide open. He usually wouldn't shout when nothing happened, so he was particularly quiet at this time. Although he was a child, he seemed to be able to sense that something was wrong in the atmosphere, so he stayed obediently in his mother's arms, with his eyes open and not moving.
